Just by getting this far Azadin’s achievements are unprecedented in the history of the continent of Hybris.
What if we convince the North Korean Cohen Lioner here?
It could be said that this was the birth of a benevolent and just new king who took over the world without shedding blood.
A person who unites the continent of Hybris through dialogue not force!
Isn’t this an achievement that will be engraved in history for generations to come?
It’s a shame that you’re falling behind Azadin and losing all the credit so how do you see that?
No matter how hard he tried to persuade him even if he were to offer him the throne now and Azadin declared that he would become Cohen’s vassal Cohen would never listen.
however….
“If I could kill you I would but…”
Azadin never liked Cohen.
If I could kill I would.
But I endure it because if I kill this guy innocent people will die in pain.
Azadin was trying to persuade Cohen in that way.
‘This guy. If I can’t convince you you’re going to kill me. You don’t care if your people die?’
Cohen suddenly looked into Azadin’s eyes.
The purple eyes were cold and sunken.
There is no sympathy or conflict in it.
It was just like a still water surface reflecting the image of Bukje Cohen himself.
At that moment he felt as if lightning had struck his head.
I realized that Azadin was accepting the current situation in a detached manner.
He tries to save his people but he is unwavering even if his people die.
Do the best you can but if something goes wrong there’s nothing you can do about it.
Don’t get overly excited don’t get overly sad just stay calm and do what you can.
Even if Cohen causes trouble to such an opponent and takes more innocent people as his companions it does not cause any mental damage or pain to Azadin.
Because he did the best he could.

Cohen is just a really bad guy. There’s nothing you can do about it.
He will rise up like that and if the history of mankind continues he will be remembered as the worst god-king.
When Cohen realized this he felt ashamed.
‘If I attack the author will lose his reputation.’
‘It would be heartbreaking if more innocent people died.’
‘If I give in to his persuasion and give him a bloodless victory it will be a trophy that will make his glory shine even brighter? Oh! What a pitiful thought! This guy really doesn’t care about honor and yet he dares to throw away his life just to tarnish his honor. I was not a king but a clown!’
When Cohen realized this he felt so ashamed of himself that he hit his head on the floor.
My head was splitting blood was spurting out and I felt pain but the shame hurt more than my body.
Cohen is still Cohen.
Love for the people or the nation that never existed before does not suddenly spring up.
He felt no value in his relationships with other humans anyway and he was only interested in his own superiority and the great feats he would accomplish and that fact has not changed even now.
But that’s why he was even more shocked by the foolishness he had committed.
The emotion that came over Cohen who barely managed to shake off his disgust by banging his head on the floor was one of admiration.
‘This guy is really amazing.’
It was pure admiration for Azadin.

The Northern Qi did not view other people as equal human beings.
So he was alone everywhere.
I climb the mountain alone and in solitude.
While he carried out all sorts of schemes to become a great god-king who would leave his name in the history of mankind he had no sympathy at all for those who were sacrificed as a result of his schemes.
Because to him he was an invisible insignificant being.
So he walked alone up the mountaintop trampling on others along the crowded road.
A rival named Azadin appeared before him.
At first he considered him to be the same being as himself.
A person who cries out for a cause in order to leave behind a reputation and achievements that prove that he is different from other inferior humans in this world.
Even if the spirits of Yaegas chose him and the angels blessed him it was probably because of the imperial blood that flowed in his blood or because of the evil deeds that the Northern Qi had committed to achieve hegemony.
I never thought Azadin would be so uninterested in honor itself.
But I learned this when I met Azadin.
Interest loves virtue seeks justice and seeks to achieve good.
But I don’t want any compensation for it.
Because I love virtue I am a good person; because I seek justice I will punish others; because I wish to achieve a cause all should obey me.
There is no such demand.
At first I thought we were at the same height but it turned out to be a being on a completely different far-off level.
No thinking this way is already wrong.
Azadin never had the self-consciousness or competitive spirit that Bukje Cohen had from the beginning.
At that moment Cohen was truly impressed by Azadin.

The priests who came at the call of Cohen of the North were perplexed to see Cohen and Azadin in the same place.
“Your Majesty. I heard you summoned me.”
On behalf of Azadin who had caught their eye his subjects and the northern Aragats were furious.
“Where do you dare look!? This is His Majesty’s presence!”
“I think I’ll gouge out your eyes! You rude priests. Are you treating His Majesty with that kind of expression right now?”
“Oh I’m sorry.”
The priests were startled bowed their heads and asked the Northern Emperor.
“Then is that person over there by any chance?”
“His Majesty Azaddin.”
“yes?”
The clergy were embarrassed by the Northern Emperor’s remarks.
King Cohen calls King Azadin another king his majesty?
Isn’t this clearly treating you like a superior?
Even if you treat him as a king of the same class it would be shocking but this is even more so.
“His Majesty Azadin the King of Banling has shown miracles. He has proven that he was chosen by the spirits of Yaegas while sitting on the throne of Assander so he is the rightful owner of the throne and a living miracle itself.”
“yes?!”
“Are you serious?”
The priests were perplexed.
The title of Northern Emperor was an honorary title bestowed by the church of the King of Kings.
It’s a term I just picked up because I couldn’t bring myself to call him emperor but it means that the Northern Qi was the greatest among all kings.
The clergy of the church were shocked to see that the Northern Emperor who had been given authority by the church was supporting Azadin as a witness.
‘What should I do with this?’
‘Isn’t this a stage where we can’t dare do anything?’
“Now then by order of King Azadin no the Emperor I will act as his vassal. First send my message to Tarasar and Karasar. His Majesty is worried about the cold wave that will become even more severe in the future and is trying to gather the refugees in Assander. Come to think of it I was foolish. Rather than transporting food to various places it would be better to gather people here where there is food.”
That’s not wrong. But it means that Assander will open the borders and accept foreign nationals without restrictions.
Isn’t it because you didn’t want to do that that you’ve been living a very showy life until now giving food little by little to other kings?
It was difficult for the priests to tell whether what was happening before their eyes was a dream or reality as the person who had been acting so boldly suddenly changed.
Besides the title he used for Azadin was… a term that was simply unacceptable.
“The Emperor of Fire?”
“Yes. Now that Netherstrom is weakening and famine is threatening the world don’t we need someone to unite humanity? Until now I have dared to step up to take that position but there is someone who is far more worthy of the position than I am so I happily entrust everything to him and become his vassal.”
The priests suspected that Cohen was being controlled by magic.
The clergy weren’t stupid either; they knew that Cohen had enormous ambitions.
But you want to give up that ambition and become Azadin’s subordinate?
“Anyway we can’t sail in this weather. If the weather worsens in the future it will only get worse not better.”
“So aren’t you talking about a miracle? As soon as the ship is ready the weather will change to make it possible to transport people onto the ship!”
Hearing the Northern Emperor make that declaration Azadin smiled bitterly.
‘Is this guy doing me a favor by risking my life? Or is it this guy who would benefit the most if I were to be killed?’
The Light of the King This was the culprit that was putting a huge burden on Azadin who had already died and come back to life.
The more he manifests the light of the King’s Flower to protect humanity the more Azadin’s lifespan is consumed.
If Azadin becomes the emperor and dies on the way his position will naturally go to the Northern Qi.
Even if Azadin were to have an heir through Midiam there is no way that his warlords without Azadin could stand up to the experienced Northern Qi.
From the Northern Qi’s perspective it was a battle where they had nothing to lose and only gained by admitting that they could not defeat Azadin and entering into a fight for succession.
It seemed that this was not just Azadin’s opinion as Azadin’s subjects also glared at the Northern Emperor with expressions of open displeasure.
The northern Aragatsas were particularly bad.
They secretly wanted Azadin to kill the Northern Emperor.
If the Northern Emperor is persuaded not to die and preserve his power the northern Aragasa who were vassals of the Northern Emperor and then betrayed him will be in a difficult position.
They have to serve the same king or rather emperor while facing a powerful enemy called the Northern Qi.
Since they hit the back of their opponent’s head the back of their own head will also feel cold.
I want to find fault with him somehow and punish him but the Northern Emperor is so experienced in these matters that there is no room for finding fault.
‘As expected he’s not easy. Look at him lying without even wiping his mouth.’
‘Since when have you served His Majesty Azadin? I can see why you are the most loyal subject in the world.’
‘I should have killed him instead of trying to persuade him. But His Majesty the Emperor insisted on persuading that bastard like Sagal in order to save at least one more person.’
Ironically in fact the Northern Emperor was truly impressed by Azadin and wanted to serve him but no one including Azadin trusted the Northern Emperor.
“Then we….”
“Make this fact known to the upper echelons of the Church and throughout the world. Send word to Karasar and Tarasar of course.”
“That is… In fact we have been conveying messages in agreement with His Majesty the Northern Qi up until now.”
The King’s Church and the Knights Templar monopolized the Mirror of Message an ancient magical artifact from Hybris and were able to establish a powerful communications network across the continent.
The Mirror of Message which could transmit human speech much more accurately than the barrage of words gave the sect an influence that could not be ignored even if it was an organization that dealt with illegitimate children.
And the way to strengthen that influence is to deliver only the news they want and block the news they don’t want.
Until now I have been in agreement with the Northern Qi and have delivered whatever the Northern Qi tells me to do but now I will receive compensation.
That’s what the priests were saying.
“It doesn’t matter. If you won’t help I’ll use the Rescue Knights organization.”
Azadin said so. But then it happened.
-Kurrrrrr!
Suddenly the axis began to shake.
