    #338. Heart of Destruction 4

The Celestials Triodana’s subordinates were all exhausted.

Unlike Azadin and Triodana who had hippogriffs they rode ordinary horses and continued to use magic to energize their horses.

In return for this forced march they were rapidly losing their energy. The flames of their ceramite longswords were gradually fading and the cold rain was robbing them of their body heat and freezing their hands and feet.

In addition increasingly powerful cult mutants were appearing.

Until now the majority of mutants were the size of two adult males but now mutants as big as an ox or an elephant that walks on four legs are starting to appear.

The giant mutants with their limbs split into tentacles were so powerful that even the Celestials avoided close combat. Even a mutant the size of a human could kill a horse in a single blow so how powerful would something of that size be?

    “Step back!”

Triodana used magic to defeat those large mutants but no matter how many times he shot the monsters kept coming.

Triodana’s magical power was also gradually being depleted.

    “Lord Azadin?!”

    “I can’t see it!”

“Damn it. That guy. He forced us to march to save his merchants. Could it be that he’s trying to kill us in this situation?”

The Celestials suspected that Azadin was abandoning them.

But then the mutants split apart and a woman walked out of them.

    “Stop it…..”

    The mutants stopped their offensive.

    The Celestials also stopped resisting.

The surrounding soldiers were already almost all annihilated and the Celestials were exhausted weak and at their limits.

“Hahaha. So that’s Celestial? That’s really amazing. The Northern Emperor actually did this.”

She turned her bloodshot eyes which shone clearly even in the darkness toward Triodana.

“Surrender child of the Northern Qi.”

Triodana was embarrassed to find such a woman.

    I’m scared.

Triodana was a fearless warrior even in his previous life as Prince Triton.

The only thing he feared was the wrath of his father the Northern Emperor. But now he was feeling that fear from the woman in front of him.

    “Who are you?”

“I am Griselda. I am one of the founders of Banreung Academy. I am a child of the Northern Emperor.”

She said so and pointed to her forehead. The jewel set into her forehead opened its eyes. When her eyes were closed they looked like jewels but when they were open vertically slit pupils appeared inside them and an enormous sense of intimidation flowed from the woman in front of her Griselda.

Her eyes were bleeding and this woman Griselda was absorbing the blood that flowed out into her body.

“The founder of Banreung Academy. I’ve never heard of such a story before! In any case you are the leader of these people!”

Triodana was talking to Griselda when she quickly rushed towards her.

And he swung his ceramite longsword trying to cut her from her side to her shoulder in one blow.

It was a surprise attack that even surprised Triodana himself.

Has a blade ever been swung with such force with such precision and with such clean lines?

But Griselda lightly extended her clawed hand and blocked Triodana’s ceramite longsword.

    -Phew!

The ceramite longsword shattered and Triodana’s gauntlet shattered.

The right hand that was holding the sword was cut open so much that the bone was visible and blood was flowing out of it.

    “Ugh!”

    Triodana collapsed in excruciating pain.

“Hoo hoo hoo. Is this the blood of Celestial?”

Griselda licked Triodana’s blood off her hands with delight.

“It’s so sweet. The blood of angels mixed with human blood gives it a truly profound flavor.”

Griselda said so and reached out to Triodana and grabbed his chin.

A sharp nail pierced her cheek. Triodana tried to resist but Griselda’s strength was formidable.

Of course Triodana is a Celestial and has strength beyond that of a human but if you were to wrestle with her while her claws were embedded in her cheeks her cheeks and tongue would both be cut off.

“Your face is also beautiful. Is it because you have Celestial blood? You are truly like an angel. Good. I will make you my pretty girl.”

    “Triodhana Sir!”

The other Celestials stepped forward to rescue Triodana but at that moment ominous black shadows appeared beside them.

They were beauties in black mourning attire. These women holding side swords in their hands slashed Celestial’s wrists with their swords and crushed them.

    “Kyahahahahahaha!”

    “You’re handsome. You’re truly a Celestial!”

    “Mother! Can we have these?”

They called Griselda their mother and asked her.

    “…….”

Triodana tried to resist somehow but with all her magic and stamina depleted from fighting so many cult mutants on the forced march there was no way.

You can see that these women are vampires… If they catch them they will continue to suck Celestial’s blood and be treated as preserved food.

    ‘Should I commit suicide?’

It was when Triodana was making up his mind.

    *********

“Have you ever tried angel blood?”

A clear voice asked a question from behind Griselda.

“Of course. That’s… just chewing on seasoning or spices because they taste good. No matter how precious a spice is if it’s too strong it’s not edible.”

Griselda said this and looked at the one who had asked her.

A young man wearing a bird mask stands atop a cult mutant in the shape of an elephant.

Surprisingly the mutants were unaware of him standing over their bodies.

This man’s magical power and presence have been completely erased so mutants who cannot see things with their eyes cannot recognize him.

“Yes. You must be Azadin. How surprising.”

“There’s one more thing I’m curious about. Do you know Niselda?”

“Niseldah? All my daughters are named that way. I have too many daughters so naming them is a hassle. The children here are all named Niselda too.”

As Griselda said that the female vampires who had captured the Celestials burst into laughter and winked at Azadin.

“What about Bernard? He’s Niselda’s father.”

“Perhaps it was one of my Heedongs. The nights are long and my bed is too big for me to sleep in alone. Why? Do you want to be my Heedong and warm my bed too?”

“No thank you. I have one more question. Is that jewel on your forehead the eye of Ashajit?”

“…Ah how surprising. You really know so much. Are you Azadin? Now I see why the Shade Hags offered a reward for killing you.”

Griselda said so and touched the jewel between Asajjite’s eyebrows.

Then a bloody wave emanated from her and blood covered Azadin’s body.

    -Growling!

As blood stained Azadin’s body his magical hiding power was broken.

The elephant-shaped mutant that had been sitting still completely unaware of Azadin’s presence on its head finally noticed Azadin and tried to attack. However Azadin dodged the mutant’s tentacle attacks by a mere sheet of paper and began to induce tentacle attacks.

The mutants become excited and start attacking each other.

In the midst of heads being crushed and brains being blasted out Azadin was calmly spreading the damage to the mutants. This is truly an incredible feat and courage.

    “Kyahahahahaha!”

The female vampires the daughters of Griselda rush in. They dissolve into the darkness dispersing and clumping like mist as they fly towards Azadin swinging their side swords.

The dazzling attacks were as beautiful ugly scary and alluring as the daughters of the Demon King.

However Azadin did not even look at their dazzling attacks but turned his back and ran in a straight line to avoid them.

    “Hey! This isn’t fun!”

    “Look here! Pretty!”

Griselda’s daughters chase after Azadin laughing. But then Azadin draws his bow as he runs and bends his head under his armpit to look behind him.

Azadin who had the ceramite longsword Aurelia Dawn on his bow fired the sword behind his back.

    “what?!”

It was when Triodana was surprised to see the bizarre scene.

The ceramite longsword fired from the bow emitted a dazzling light and then exploded into dozens of flames that began to pour down.

    “Gyaaaah!”

    “Kkaaa!”

The sword itself explodes into molten iron. The cult mutants and female vampires hit by the iron scream.

Vampires in particular suffered serious damage as the fire on their bodies would not go out no matter what was done.

“Cut it out. This is Aurelia Dunn!”

At Griselda’s command her daughters cut off limbs that had been struck by sparks and had begun to burn.

The daughters of Griselda who had escaped disaster by having their backs skinned alive and their limbs cut off now lost their composure and revealed their true forms as monsters driven by rage and bloodlust.

The beautiful woman she once was is nowhere to be found and she has taken the form of a hideous monster that looks like a combination of a bat and an ogre and she curses Azadin.

    “This kid!”

“I will kill you and suck every last drop of your blood!”

“No I’ll torture you alive! I’ll impale you on a thorny hook while you’re still alive and feast on your blood!”

They shouted and rushed at Azadin.

It was a feast of shadows mirages and illusions that the human eye could not chase away like the illusion of a tree swaying in a storm.

But when Azadin opened his hand a bluish-glowing spear axe flew towards him and was caught in his hand.

    “Gyah!”

The vampire who was in the path of the flying halberd towards Azadin was simply hit by the halberd and suffered terrible damage having his waist split in two.

    “….”

    “That’s ridiculous!”

Griselda’s daughters were horrified at the sight. The axe surprisingly was the divine artifact of the Nether Reaper.

To be exact the handle was the divine relic of Grimthrun one of the Nether’s reapers but the magic contained in the handle as well as the blade of the small axe was not ordinary.

Azadin swung his halberd and struck down the approaching daughters of Griselda.

    “what!”

“How dare you a human being cross swords with your blood relatives!”

Griselda’s daughters laughed but changed their minds when they saw the halved sword in their hands.

The arms are cut off and the waist is cut off.

The axe wielded by Azadin had such terrifying power that even those who had been transformed into beasts could not stop it.

    “uh….”

    “What is this?”

In addition golden flames rose from the ground again.

The ceramite longsword Aurelia Dawn transformed into molten iron was turning towards Azadin.

    “Ugh!”

    “Avoid!”

Griselda’s daughters ran to avoid Aurelia Dawn who flowed across the ground.

When they attack it is like a dance of grim reapers taking away human souls but when they are startled and flee it is like a flock of quails fleeing from an eagle.

And that’s exactly what Azadin wanted.
