Night of the Soulless Heathens – 214

#214. Even if you lose the light 9
An earthquake struck the entire city of Btuma once known as the City of Gold.
This power which was completely destroying the Golden City with walls collapsing buildings collapsing and roads splitting was emanating from the royal palace of Bthuma where the sacred Yaegas’ throne was located.
And evil is also rising. It is not a simple natural disaster but an evil force is destroying the city.
Thanks to this the fighting has come to a halt. The ground has split open severing the line between the Senate faction and the Arael tribe.
“Azadin!”
Arael called Azadin.
“We must chase Hatir! Azadin! Go quickly! And this!”
As Arael drew a seal with her hand in the air copies of the Book of the New King glowing pure white appeared from her body and flew towards Azadin.
The copies gathered in the air and transformed into a single mass of light. It was the core of the Book of the New Kings which Arael had created based on the Book of the New Kings in order to purify the throne of Bthuma.
As Azadin accepted it the copies of the Book of the New King were naturally sucked into Azadin’s body.
“This is…..”
“We have to cleanse the throne with that! Go ahead!”
“….”
“Go ahead you punk!”
The Moon Indim opened the way for Azadin spitting out curses.
‘What about medium?’
Azadin ran out and looked for Medium.
To Azadin Midiam was nothing more than a young daughter of a noble family with no common sense. She was an irritating and annoying person.
But you never know what will happen in this world. The girl who at first was just an annoying child gave Azadin back the voice he had uttered himself when he had lost his faith.
She is an invaluable person who gave Azadin faith when he couldn’t believe in himself. No matter how chaotic it becomes if we don’t secure the safety of Medium…
As I looked back at the battlefield that had become a battlefield with that single-minded determination I found Ismail.
Ismail spoke silently to Azadin while holding the unconscious Midiam from behind.
‘Go.’
Azadin nodded after seeing the shape of the mouth.

In front of the royal castle of Bthuma unspeakable horrors were wandering.
As the realm of the Nether merged with reality terrible things happened. The realm of the Storm King the being that the Nagas had tried to bring down merged with reality and the surrounding area became like land but also like underwater.
Things that have not yet come into contact with the real world swim and roam through the air.
From things like schools of sharks to whirlpools forming everywhere these are turning into whirlwinds in the real world.
Azadin avoided such things and headed towards the palace.
In the palace the Aragats were waiting for Azadin.
“Azadin of Muan! Do you intend to destroy your clan’s wishes like your father did?!”
“If this is your wish I will gladly destroy it!”
“This guy!”
Arrows were flying. Azadin held the Blue Executioner in his right hand like a short tonfa and with his left hand he lifted Grimslow’s club and swung both hands in a large swing.
Blue light emanated from the Blue Executioner while an amber glow emanated from Grimslow’s club forming a barrier of light in front of Azadin that deflected incoming arrows.
Azadin had over a hundred copies of the Shinwangjinseo including dozens of copies that Arael had collected. The magical power within his body was so great that even if he lightly waved his arms an enormous amount of magical power would be released.
“You bastard!”
“We don’t have time to kill anyone so if you don’t want to die get out of the way!”
“Don’t make me laugh! You little punk!”
A messenger belonging to the Five Great Clans ignored Azadin’s warning and rushed forward.
-A series of paintings of flowers birds wind and moon!
The messenger rushes in while firing a series of magic bullets and swings his longsword towards Azadin’s temple.
However Azadin made Grimslow’s club spin in the air like a satire blocking the attack with the barrier and stabbing his bare fist. The shockwave struck the air and bounced off the head striking the messenger’s torso.
At that moment a terrible sound resounded as if lightning had struck a dry tree.
-Ppajijik!
With a loud noise the man was literally torn apart.
“….”
It was a result that even Azadin had not expected.
I tried to subdue it without killing it but it was unexpectedly too powerful.
Despite this dire outcome more Aragasas rush in.
“Please! Get out of the way!”
Their skills are too outstanding to just avoid and pass by.
It makes sense. These are the people Hatir had deployed to protect the castle. Even Azadin one of the most elite messengers would have found them difficult to deal with in normal times.
However Azadin’s current body was filled with the power of the New King’s Book. When Azadin reflexively swung the Blue Executioner a blue sword light cut through the air splitting apart everything in its path.
The lower body having lost its upper body runs forward and falls.
“Ugh.”
The Aragasas could not understand what was happening before their eyes.
It is surprising that those who are the highest-ranking messengers and members of the Five Great Clans do not become the first enemies of Azadin who was called the worst traitor of the clan.
Is that really the power of a human? The sight was so horrible that it broke their will to fight.
“Get out of the way. Please.”
Azadin’s expression after killing them wasn’t that bright either.

Even though they despised Azadin they were of the same race. If possible they were not to be harmed but they were too skilled to be ignored and if you provoke them they would die.
So Azadin tried to convince them but the moment he opened his mouth the sticky smell of blood filled his mouth. Blood was pouring out of Azadin’s nose and mouth.
It was good that the power of the New King’s Book had increased but Azadin’s body was not able to withstand that power.
“That guy is at his limit too!”
“You monopolized the Shinwangjinseo! You don’t even know the subject!”
“I won’t be able to hold out!”
The Aragats who saw this began to misunderstand the reason why Azadin called them Vicky.
“You idiots!”
Azadin was indignant at his clan blocking his path and grabbed the Qing executioner.
The fight has begun.
*********
“Haaak… haaak….”
Azadin caught his ragged breath. His nose was bleeding continuously and it was difficult to breathe through his nose.
Blood also flows out of the mouth through the mucous membrane as if it were uncontrollable saliva. It feels as if the whole body is going to collapse.
Azadin pulled out the arrow embedded in his body and threw it away.
Green magic flows through Azadin’s body healing his wounds. The magic that Shati cast before leaving is what regenerates Azadin’s body.
But even that magic couldn’t erase the pain in my body. No even worse than the pain in my body was the pain in my heart.
‘Aragasa is over.’
Azadin looked at the corpses of his clan scattered around him.
He killed them. The talented members of the clan the key figures the talented and loyal servants. He killed all the clan members who stood in his way.
My body feels as heavy as a thousand pieces of gold and my mind feels even heavier.
‘Is it really necessary to do this?’
The accusations of his clan members who had been killed while trying to stop Azadin lingered in his ears.
A cursed bastard a scourge of traitorous clans.
All correct.
Is this something that must be achieved even at the cost of killing one’s own clan?
If Azadin had just a little more influence within the clan wouldn’t things have turned out differently?
‘But… if we don’t stop it now…’
Azadin entered the throne room where the Golden King Manza-Zadek resided.
On the quartz throne sat Hatir and in front of her… Aldis was waiting for Azadin holding a long spear.
“….”
Azadin wasn’t surprised. He had a feeling this would happen.
If Hathir had vacated the throne Aldis would have been in charge during that time.
Although there were many talented people in the clan not many had magical abilities comparable to those of the new king.
Since there were only three people Aldis Arael and Hatir it was quite expected that Aldis would be here.
“Azadin.”
Unlike Azadin who looked calm Aldis looked surprised.
“What have you done!? Azadin! No way….”
Aldis was shocked at the sight of countless corpses beyond the throne room that Azadin had opened and entered. She was shocked by the sight of the intruder who had annihilated her clan.
“Are you saying that all these people killed their own kind?”
“yes.”
“Why?”
“Because I had to stop the Nether Reaper from descending.”
Azadin took a step forward panting. Aldis surprised took a step back.
“Why the clan?”
“I didn’t want to kill them either. It’s just that they risked their lives to stop me… No before that Aldis did you approve of this?”
When Azadin questioned Aldis Hatir who had been silent until now spoke.
“There’s no need to say more Aldis! The grimoire that guy has is an evil grimoire that turns Arael and Azadin into new gods! They killed their own clan and came all the way here because of their own ambitions!”
Hatir said so and ordered Aldis to execute Azadin.
“The Emperor’s magic doesn’t work on him! Be careful!”
“You should also tell me why it doesn’t work!”
Azadin was indignant.
If you think about it it’s all because of that bastard Hatir. The leader of the clan who was in a position to lead the clan in the right direction led the clan down an evil path and caused this tragedy.
Why on earth did Kazas love something like that and get dragged around without being able to do anything? Why did he weigh that guy against himself and lean towards him?
As Azadin spewed his animosity at Hatir Aldis’ spear sliced through the air.
“Stop! Azadin! Put your weapon away immediately!”
“….”
“Please Azadin. I don’t want to hurt you. But…”
“If we leave it to the will of the leader Hathir the Nether’s reaper will descend upon the world. Aldis! You are not an idiot so you should know this!”
Azadin literally shouted spitting out blood.
“The Emperor’s voice has dismissed all the messengers except me! We must stop Hathir’s plan! But….”
“It is the path that everyone in the clan has chosen! To take revenge and rule this world! But you alone cannot accept it and you come here with the dirty grimoire made by Arael claiming that you are right!”
“Azadin.”
Aldis looked at Azadin with an embarrassed expression.
Azadin had always been saved by that warm and loving expression. Now it was so painful.
“Can you please turn a blind eye just this once Azadin? I… believe you are right. But I fully understand the pain and wishes of my clan. Above all my father….”
“….”
As for Aldis he would not be able to betray his father Hatir.
Listening to her words Azadin’s heart also wavered.
I’ve come this far by killing my clan. I have to kill more to get what I want. I have to kill Aldis too.
Can you do something like that?
Aldis was his light. Should he go down this path even if it means killing her?
however.
-Kurururung!
An earthquake shook the world again urging a decision.
