“You said you cared about the Hybris people. From what I heard from Medium… you truly believe in the faith of the Knights Templar?”
“I don’t really want to talk about that?”
“Lord Aldis is a merciful man. However most of our clan members are bloodthirsty unlike Lord Aldis. There are too many who want to take revenge by killing the Hybrisians. So don’t we need someone who can understand Lord Aldis’s intentions?”
“Me?”
“Yes. Aldis needs someone to support his words and comfort him. To be honest that’s not an easy task. It’s something only you can do.”
Zion Etar’s words were quite plausible.
Although Aldis is of high status her intentions are so far removed from the average of the Heralds that she ends up having no choice but to take a hard-line stance as everyone in the Heralds wants.
Someone needs to be there to support her and the only person who can do that is definitely Azadin.
The supporters are demanding a tyrant from someone who should not be a tyrant. It will be a tragedy if someone does not support her.
And it was quite a fascinating story for Azadin.
That it was a spiritual comfort to Aldis.
To repay her kindness.
To become something more meaningful in her life rather than just a helpless child.
How I have longed and hoped for it.
It was a dream I had since I was a helpless boy.
but….
“What about you Zion Etar? Are you also thirsty for blood?”
When Azadin asked that Zion smiled.
“It would be a lie if I said I wasn’t hungry. The people of Hybris oppressed us. We were simply following the Emperor’s orders. And look at them. Lord Aldis declared that he was the Emperor’s descendant. But they were… afraid of the Emperor’s descendants so they didn’t dare to confront him. Why?”
“Because it means the Yaegasu God Tribe.”
“No. It’s because they have mean and vulgar personalities. They are submissive to the absolutely strong and cruel to the weak.”
“We are not weak.”
“No. We were weak! We were small in number! That’s why we trained ourselves in harsh martial arts since childhood and strengthened ourselves with the magical book of Hwajopungwol! We overdid it to overcome our weakness of being small in number!”
The voice of Zion Etar was filled with heat.
“That is our entire distorted life was persecution. The people of Hybris rejected us so we had to do this in order to survive.”

“So you want to kill the Hybrisians too?”
“Yes. However I know that this feeling is not right and is not desirable for ruling this world in the future. That is why I need you to be free. I never thought that there would be someone who believes in the angel faith of the Salvation Knights while being an Aragasa.”
Zion Etar was truly in need of Azadin.
Certainly… this is meaningful.
Azadin’s ability to calm and temper their anger within Aragatha could prevent the sacrifice of many people.
but….
“First let’s block the Nether and Nagas and then talk.”
Azadin said this to Sion Etar who approached him and distanced himself.
“Then that bracelet…..”
“hmm?”
“Hand over the copy of the New King’s Book and the bracelet. Isn’t that too much for one messenger to carry? It needs to be interpreted…”
“But do you need a copy of the New King’s Book when you have taken the throne?”
“Of course it is necessary. Since it is a version that has already undergone some interpretation work.”
“Okay. I’ll return it. Directly to Aldis.”
“….”
“Well then that’s it. I guess I’ll have to get rid of those guys first.”
Azadin said so and distanced himself from Zion.
*********
The sky was clearing.
The light of the King’s Flower was driving away the dark clouds and pushing back the power of the Nether.
The Nether’s presence which had clearly been the shadow of a giant when thunderstorms and storms raged… appeared as nothing more than a large mass of cumulonimbus clouds under the light of the King’s Fire.
“Oh what the heck. Did we see things wrong? It definitely looked like a giant grim reaper earlier. Now I see that we were so scared that we mistook the clouds for something else.”
Shati stuck out her tongue as she looked at the dark clouds in the distance under the light of the royal flower.
“How could that be?”
Azadin shook his head.
The Nether Reaper shot his followers out of his body and these followers merged with the sea serpent nagas to form new types of monsters.
Under the light of the King’s Flower he was just a storm cloud but without the light of the King’s Flower he was the messenger of the Nether.
“It was definitely a Nether Reaper. That’s it.”
“The light of the king’s flower is truly amazing.”
Oaken Scott was impressed.
As the Nether’s retinue weakened under the light of the King’s Fire the buckler that had become so hard that it could even deflect heavy crossbows became soft again and its speed slowed down.
The soldiers could easily deal with them by just stabbing them with their long spears and the soldiers and knights were overflowing with strength.
As the light of the King’s Flower grew stronger morale in Coral Sahar soared and hope and courage arose among the people.
In addition messengers reading the proclamations of the Windcatchers were delivering messages of hope to the people.
“Listen up everyone! Emperor Yaeslat’s granddaughter Aldis Jedah has taken the throne of Coral Sahar!”
“Huh? Emperor?”
“If she’s the emperor’s granddaughter shouldn’t she be dead already?”

“No the blood of the Yaegas Gods is that strong! The true owner of the Coral Sahar throne has now taken that place and the light of the royal flower will be with us!”
“Long live the Empress!”
The windcatchers were agitating the people by praising the new Empress Aldis Jeddah.
“….”
Azadin walked away from the windcatchers.
However the Windcatchers and the messengers who were hiding among the people recognized Azadin.
“Congratulations.”
“Second Commander Azadin Jedah.”
“I knew you would succeed.”
The cursed Azadin called Azadin of Muan was despised and persecuted by all.
But now the messenger clan knows that Azadin’s supporter is Aldis and that she will rise to the center of power and they have been sending congratulations that border on flattery to Azadin.
Azadin responded dryly to their congratulations.
It’s clearly a good thing. It was Arael not Aldis who summoned the Nether beings and slaughtered the people.
As a result Aldis took the throne but it was Arael who got his hands dirty.
Aldis’s hands are still clean.
Isn’t it good?
He got everything at once without compromising his morality.
If those who turned their backs on the Senate bewitched by Arael’s vision were promised amnesty they would gladly turn to Aldis.
So everything is going well but why does Azadin want to get out of here as soon as possible?
“Let’s get away. It doesn’t seem like Zion Etar will leave us alone.”
Azadin hurried his steps. His head was spinning and his vision was blurry making it hard to bear. Indescribable pain and frustration weighed on Azadin’s chest.
But then it happened.
“Azadin.”
A girl with a gloomy expression called out to Azadin. Midiam and Ismail were shooting arrows at the sea serpents from the wall when they saw Azadin and turned around.
“Medium. Ismail.”
“I don’t know what to say.”
Midiam understood that Azadin was in love with Aldis and that Aldis’s sudden claim to the throne and successor to the Emperor was confusing Azadin.
It might be complicated. It’s not something to be overly happy about.
So she comforted Azadin.
But Ismail turned a blind eye and offered a bribe to Azadin.
“Congratulations on your promotion Azadin Jedah. Second Lieutenant. It is a fitting evaluation for your abilities.”
“Ismail!”
Midiam rebuked Ismail for indifferently congratulating Azadin on his promotion.
“Hey little miss. Are you okay with letting us go?”
Scott asked Medium. When Scott and Zibek Shati were captured Medium freed them and he asked if he had been held accountable for that.
“Yes that’s fine. That’s not a problem. I’m Etar. What are you going to do now?”
“What can we do? Only Aldis can stop the Age of Jupiter. Shouldn’t we be loyal as heralds of the new Empress Aldis not only for the glory of our Aragasa but also for the people of Hybris?”
Ismail answered Midiam’s question on his behalf but Azadin shook his head.
“I want to meet Arael and talk to her. But it’s dangerous for Arael so we can’t meet here. I’m thinking of moving to a less populated place.”
Azadin told Midiam his plan without hiding anything.
“…okay.”
“You all know this and will chase me right?”
“Yes. Actually I have to ask you to hire me as your servant again here.”
That is Midiam was supposed to approach Azadin as a spy. Ismail was startled when Midiam told him this.
“You can follow me.”
“Is that okay?”
“Haha Captain. Are the wounds from those kids still stinging?”
Scott said so but he didn’t specifically refuse to accompany them. Rather it was Zibeck who refused to accompany them.
“I object Azadin. We must not allow them to accompany us.”
“Why?”
“No matter what excuse you use to refuse to accompany me Sion Etar will view you as a potential traitor and will keep you under surveillance. He does not trust you.”
“i think so too.”
“If Miss Midiam is kind to you and you take her away she will suffer by weighing her own blood relatives against you. It would be better to face their suspicions and doubts head on.”
Rather than burdening Midiam Zibek demanded that Azadin confront his doubts and suspicions head-on. As expected of a savvy knight.
Azadin smiled bitterly.
“No actually let me go. Isn’t it time you let me go now?”
Although Shati asked so Azadin ignored Shati’s request and said
“Medium. It’s your choice. Will you follow? Or will you turn back?”
“Of course I will follow.”
“I disagree.”
Ismail shook his head.
“Medium. This man will eventually betray his clan. This man is a true believer in angels. Haven’t you seen him perform miracles?”
“….”
“I truly believe that he will definitely betray our clan. And you are Etar.”
“Ismail.”
Then Azaddin called Ismail’s name.
“What is it?”
“You are a good person.”
“yes?”
Ismail was momentarily taken aback. What was this man trying to say? Was he teasing him?
But judging from his expression it doesn’t seem like that.
Azadin’s face was mostly covered by a mask as he had no eyes but his mouth still had a pitiful expression.
