“…is powerful.”
Guillaume Wald was astonished to see Azadin stand up to the giant spider woman without any fear.
‘I heard that the Herald Clan is a group that even kills kings. It makes sense. Isn’t it scary? They took down that monster so easily.’
If he knew that Azadin who made him tremble was a person who was considered a useless outcast among the messenger clan he would be surprised again.
Ismail who was observing Guillaume Wald’s expression from the side said calmly.
“Nothing to be surprised about. They’re just so big that there are plenty of places to stick arrows.”
He noticed that Guillaume Bald was afraid of the power of the Herald Clan.
Azadin’s actions are amazing but they are ordinary to the Heralds. That was the impression he gave them so that Guillaume Bald would not dare to look down on them.
“Because the Spider Woman couldn’t approach him recklessly by weaving a fence and placing him on a wheelchair he ended up becoming food for arrows.”
Medium explained further. Originally the servants would indirectly gain experience as a messenger by recalling the actions or strategic strategies of the messenger. Her actions were a review of Azadin’s tactics and strategies so it could be said that it was appropriate behavior for a servant.
“Couldn’t they have attacked by diverting the attack?”
Guillaume Wald asked.
“To make a detour you have to avoid the spider webs and buildings and come to the flat ground. It must have been burdensome for the spider woman as well.
Medium laughed and dodged to the side of the fence. Jibek swung his sword and cut down the spiderlings that were approaching him.
The spiders were helpless and were being attacked by Azadin and his men.
*********
Spider Woman Fran who had fallen to the ground was struggling unable to recover from the shock.
“Oh. No! That woman is laughing! When I die that woman will take you!”
“What makes that old man so handsome…”
Azadin sighed.
Originally there were many commoners who had a vague admiration for the nobles. The nobles had economic power and experience that came with their superior status. It wouldn’t have been difficult to brainwash women who were ignorant of the ways of the world by using that superior status.
“Fran. I’m sorry but you are not thinking normally right now and this curse that has mutated your body cannot be reversed. Atra’s infection is turning you into a spider beast. Living as a beast while retaining your humanity is miserable for you and those around you so I will end here. Do you have any last words?”
“Ahhh… Brock. I just wanted to save you from that woman. I’m sorry.”
Even at this moment she believed Brock’s lies. Seeing that made Brock’s heart ache.
“Fr Fr. No. That’s it. I was just playing the victim and lusting after your young body. Most of what I said was a lie. I’m just a mean greedy piece of trash!”

“Brock. So you loved me?”
“Of course.”
“….”
Azadin who was watching shook his head.
‘If I cut her off harshly she’d let go of her obsession. She doesn’t want to be a bad guy. Well since she’s going to die today anyway maybe it’s better for her to believe that her love was true.’
Spider Woman struggled as if in a fit of convulsions and barely managed to get up.
“Then please finish me off with your own hands. At least so that I can remain in your memory forever.”
“….”
Whether the beast that ruled her had fallen asleep due to her injuries or whether she was a rational human being she demanded that Brock execute her.
Sir Brock approached the Spider Woman after hearing those words. The woman Fran calmly watched Brock approach her hands clasped in prayer as she bled.
But her lower spider-like body twitched and then suddenly flew out with her forelegs aiming at Sir Brock.
-puck!
Zibek and Azadin came out swinging their swords and cut off its front legs. They both knew this would happen and were waiting for it.
“Eek!”
“Be careful sir. That woman named Fran and the spider beast are coexisting. If she catches you with her front legs she will bring you to her mouth chew you and sink her fangs into you. If you let your guard down you will die.”
“I would rather die by her hands.”
“Don’t talk nonsense. It’s that spider part that’s trying to kill you and that woman has no intention of killing you. When you die you won’t die by her hand but by the great evil that’s eating her. Dying here won’t atone for your sins. Don’t run away and face the pitiful things you’ve done.”
Azadin scolded Brock for wanting to die to escape this situation.
“That’s right. What is this that you’re doing because of petty greed?”
Brando said the same thing and struck the flying spider’s leg with his spear.
“I know it was foolish Sir Brock but please grant her dying wish.”
Jibek doesn’t like this situation either but there’s no way to turn the demonized woman back to how she was.
“Ah… yes.”
Sir Broc approached Fran who had her eyes closed and plunged his sword into her heart.
-Kuaaaah!
The spider’s body reared up in anger and went berserk but Azadin’s arrows had already torn the spider apart and several of its legs had been cut off making it difficult to estimate its own weight.
As the spider struggled and fell Brock fell backwards.
“Ugh…ugh. What the hell am I doing!”
“He deceived a young woman who didn’t know the ways of the world with his status and sweet talk and took her as his lover.”
Azadin said coldly.
“This woman’s death is entirely your fault. Didn’t you completely deceive her into loving you? It wasn’t a one-night stand due to lust or drunkenness but the price you paid for having an extramarital affair even after getting married.”
“I didn’t know it would turn out like this. If I had known I wouldn’t have done this! What should I do? Poor Fran!”
“At first glance it looks like you regret it but I hope that regret will change the rest of your life. Let’s go. You still have a wife.”
Sir Brock’s expression hardened even more at Azadin’s words.

“Okay. I got rid of it!”
Shati breathed a sigh of relief.

“Because this place is protected by magic.”
In the village’s window there was a door hidden by the Nagas’ magic. Shati checked that the door’s protective magic was still intact and carefully used an opening spell to enter the building.
Inside the building there were injured Nagas some of whom were covered in blood.
“Ugh. You…..”
“Aren’t you a traitor!?”
Surprisingly there were Nagas here who had hired Scott McGreen to attack Count Lantarik’s bridgehead fortress. I thought they would be here since they had fled to a nearby place but I never thought I would meet them like this.
“No I’m not. I was an undercover agent for Salasma. I was captured by the enemy and escaped.”
“Prisoner? You’re funny.”
“You weren’t actively cooperating? I already reported your name to the higher-ups so be prepared.”
“Don’t be like that. If I had betrayed you would I have come here alone? And what happened? I heard that a Nether monster was summoned and then became uncontrollable.”
“It’s not in the realm of control it’s in the realm of possibility.”
“It hasn’t fully manifested in our real world yet. When it does it’s all over here.”
“yes?”
“Ugh… It’s cold.”
The Nagas groaned. They too had similar wounds to those of the were rats we had seen on the ground earlier. The wounds were frozen and the blood was freezing.
“This is…..”
“You must kill the sorcerer woman. Through her the Nether monsters are interfering with the real world.”
While they were accusing Shati of being a spy they were telling us what they knew.
“But the female drinker is also drawn into a dimension similar to that of the Nether monsters so she does not easily manifest.”
“Can we defeat the Nether monster?”
“Knock me down? Hehe…..”
“A giant walking around with a body larger than the bell tower of Karagala?”
Karagala was once the great city of the Nagas and was said to be larger than any human structure. A giant larger than the bell tower of Karagala? Shati swallowed hard.
“I didn’t see that guy?”
“It appears occasionally in the cold and fog.”
“Every time those followers pour out.”
“Our magic is only good if it can pluck out a single hair on that guy.”
These guys who have always been arrogant are surprisingly self-deprecating.
“Are there any other survivors? In here?”
“…I was going to offer the Shi Shinwang Jinseo to the Cobra Queen.”
“There is a mad orc who says that the Book of the New King must be returned to the Light of the King in order to banish the Nether monsters.”
“The guy killed the War Rats and ran away underground with the Book of the New King.”
“The light of the king’s flower…?”
Shati was horrified at those words.
This is a place like a branch office of the Naga Empire. There must be a copy of the Shinwangjinseo collected by the Nagas nearby. It must have been the hope of all who served the Naga Empire and the Kurt Pantheon Kurt Gods.
But are you so afraid of the Nether monsters that you’d think an Orc would come forward and use it to strengthen that damned thing the Light of the King?
“There used to be a city here. It sank and became an underground waterway and a village was built on top of it. The reason we chose this place as a safe house is because there is a lot of underground space that can be used without any special construction.”
“That means there is an underground passage connected here. But be careful. Inside there are not only the orcs who betrayed us and stole the Book of the New King….”
“Because the witch who summoned that Nether monster is the wife of the lord of this place!”
“Okay. Then I must… Huh?”
Shati found that the Nagas had become unresponsive. The cold that had been eating them had reached their hearts and marrow.
“He’s out of breath.”
At that moment a voice that should not have been heard was heard from behind Shati. Wasn’t it Azadin who had come near Shati and was checking on the condition of the young men?
“Huh?!”
A surprised Shati turned around but Azadin calmly rested his chin on his hand and spoke.
“As expected it was easy to get information because I sent Shati first. If I had spoken to him he would have died even if I had not spoken.”
“Hey just a minute!”
Shati was startled by Azadin who came to her side silently but a knife was already placed at her neck.
“fizzle.”
The medium made a gesture to be quiet.
“The underground tunnel is making a noise.”
Ismail also said the same thing holding his breath.
“uh?”
Shati realized that not only them but also other human paladins Brass Knight Brand and even the arrogant orc necromancer Scott McGrin were holding their breath.
“You guys really?”
“Yeah. I saw something called a Nether monster.”
Azadin also had a serious expression.
“The bell tower of Karagala? It seems that the Nagas have great pride in Karagala.”
“yes?”
“The mountain is walking. The bell tower of Karagala won’t be that big will it?”
“….”
From the way Azadin spoke it seemed that the monsters of the Nether were the kind of thing you really didn’t want to deal with.
“Did you see it? What was it like?”
“How was it? Hmm good. I’ll tell you while I’m tidying it up.”
Azadin explained to Shati what happened when he encountered the Nether monster.
