Grid rolled over and leapt onto the griffin’s spine and said, “Get up here, Jace, we don’t have a saddle, just a couple of straps I brought with me, so you can hold onto them for your own little life.”

Jace climbed up and felt that the griffin underneath him was like a rocking, ultra-high-powered massage chair, as long as he moved, he felt that he was about to fall over, and if he flew up later, wouldn’t he just throw himself off the ground?

“How am I going to catch ……”

“Whatever you catch, just don’t catch me!” Grider said, “Or we’ll go bye-bye together, and I won’t be able to catch you.”

“This difficulty is too high.” Jace hesitated for a moment and said, “Why don’t you sit in the back and let me hold the griffin’s neck, after all, you’re a knight, you’re much more stable than me!”

    “Rather try.” Dwarf Man said.

Jace switched to the front and hugged the griffin’s neck hard, and when the griffin grunted he felt his entire body tingle with shock.

Grid tied his belt and roared in Dwarven, the griffin raised its wings, and Jace had a sudden dizzy spell ……

“OMG …… my ass ……” Dare Grider can’t stand it either!

Jace already had an ominous premonition …… but this premonition did not even stay in its head for more than two seconds. Just when Jace thought he had taken flight, the tree trunks and canopies around him all of a sudden seemed to have been drained away rapidly descending and disappearing without a trace.

He almost fainted at that one, but it was immediately followed by an even more outrageous heavenly spin …… The whole world looked like it had been stirred into a pot of green and blue and black and yellow ……

He didn’t dare to do anything except hugging the griffin’s neck tightly, he had thought that he could have a good look at the beauty of Cintron in the sky, but now, not to mention looking at the beauty of the scenery, the sudden acceleration made him feel that he would be lucky if he didn’t just die violently from a brain hemorrhage.

Grider yelled, the griffin yelled, and Jace tried to yell but couldn’t, the howling winds were blowing so hard he couldn’t breathe was about to suffocate.

It was hard to regain consciousness and hide behind the griffin’s neck to catch a few breaths, and while fainting he could tell from the afterglow glimpses of the ground scenery that the road had been rushed really fast.

I don’t know how long it took to toss and turn, but the moment the griffin landed, Jace was on the verge of losing his sense of space and time.

Sliding off the griffin and touching the ground he felt as if he had not landed but had been picked up by a huge flat surface, wobbling how he could not stand, and it took a long time in a trance before he finally found his footing.

The first thing he did after regaining his normal senses was to vomit, and Jace flopped down onto the dirt road in a fit of gagging, not caring about the people around him who were watching and marveling at the word vomit.

After vomiting until his belly felt like it was being gouged in and there was really nothing left to vomit, he looked blankly in front of him before leaning against the wall next to him. The passersby who were pointing this way, the small children who were exclaiming at the griffins, and the soldiers who were stopping to watch, the strange noises they were making should have been very boisterous, but instead, Jace found them to be so quiet that they were strangely quiet, as if masked to make a sound under water.

Not only the passersby, but the air froze, and everything in sight looked as if it was frozen, completely motionless.

Jace realized that it was because he hadn’t recovered from the crazy shimmy and rush in the air.

For the moment Grid sat down next to him on his ass, his eyes just as dull and wooden.

The black griffon ran and jumped as it came to the two men, letting out an uncontrollable wail, Grid just barely kept trying to calm it down in Dwarven, but the griffon didn’t seem to listen to it at all, headbutting him one moment, sweeping with his tail the next.

Jace gulped and struggled to ask, “Where is this?”

Grid narrowed his eyes and waved his hand in an attempt to grab the griffin’s tail as he said, “Obviously …… South Seas Town.”

“I don’t recognize this as Southsea Town.” Jace said.

“Look at the charred houses, see?” Grid gave the griffin a punch in the forepaw, then pointed to the ruins of a building not far away that was being cleaned up by a couple of workers and said, “This is the town of Southsea.”

Jace nodded and looked at him with a pang of revulsion and said, “Aren’t you a Griffin Knight, why are you having such a hard time too.”

“She hasn’t had the slightest bit of training at all, Jace Sesso.” Grider grabbed the griffin’s tail with precision and then said, “You’ve ridden horses and know that you can’t say how pleasant it is to ride even an old packhorse, let alone a wild one. And we’re riding a griffin, one of the worst tempered mounts in the world, not only is it a wild one, but it doesn’t have a saddle …… I don’t fucking …… want to have to do it again, I’ve never flown that far on a wild griffin before, and even in the past it’s only been out of fun to try to I thought I could just fly to the South Seas. I thought I could just fly to Southsea Town, I admit it now, it won’t work at all, one more time and I’ll be dead, it’s a one shot deal, let’s not get it again after that.”

“You are a trained dwarf riding an untrained griffin.” Jace tried to cut his chest with his finger when he finished, but it cut to his lips.

“I, on the other hand, am an untrained human riding an untrained griffin.”

“At least you, can, hold it, by the neck.” Grid was rubbed in the face by the griffin’s head, struggling to hold onto its neck but could only be carried up and down, and reluctantly said, “And all I …… can do is, just wiggle around, wiggle around, so just be content …… “

“What’s it …… going to do?” Jace asked.

At that moment a loss of wagons passed by, and the griffin snapped his neck up and knocked Griddler to the ground whole.

The two horses at the front of the wagon neigh together in fear, and the man driving the horse shouted in fear, “Hurry …… hurry don’t let that bird head monster look here! Do you damned brute hammer dwarves want to get me killed?!”

“It wants meat!” Grider shouted as he struggled to his feet and jumped up to hold the griffin’s head, blindfolding it, “We’ll have to get it fast or it’s going to eat someone else’s horse ……”

The two tossed and turned for a while before the griffin was stabilized and some raw meat was bought at the butcher’s store to feed it.

After sending it off, the next few days were spent waiting for the ship to arrive.

Spider silk collected in Cintron, in the South Sea Town to find a cloth merchant sold ten silver coins, asked several families before realizing that the collection of spider silk this matter is a professional work, the average person to get just clean up the impurities and dust on it is another not a small amount of cost.

But ten silver coins was a slight way to give the two of them back their living expenses for the past few days.

Jace skilled the spell for Mage Armor and drank the rest of his mana potion for it.

However, by the end of the night, he was basically able to manage to successfully cast a Mage Armor that lasted roughly five hours or so in twenty to thirty seconds.

But the problem also came with the fact that the streams of light on the mage’s armor would not disappear completely, even if they faded away after the casting was complete.

If you take off your clothes, this layer of arcane-tamed elemental flux moves vaguely over your skin, and with your clothes on, it floats up to the surface a little.

It’s not as obvious when you’re in the house, but when you’re outside the house it draws particular attention to the fact that the whole thing looks weird.

Grid just let himself go completely and feasted every night, luckily at this time of year, in this town, there wasn’t any particularly expensive food that he could dump on his family, so in the end he didn’t have to spend too much money going.

It was still light on January 5th when he stepped onto the ship returning to Stormwind, and Jace Sesso stood on the deck looking back at this stretch of coastline, thinking about how it had seemed like a lifetime ago when the order had arrived here a little over a month ago.

At that time, he was still only thinking about saving more money to survive, as for what the natural disaster legion, demon invasion, and black dragon scourge …… how to feel that it has nothing to do with a small apprentice bird like him.

Now, there’s no way to get that out of your head.

Jace glanced at the top of the staff cradled in his arms, where a subtle, mysterious, dark light was emanating from the surface of the Shadow Gem between the cracks leaking through the yellow, tattered cloak cloth of Talon Blood Demon.

He tugged the edge of the cloth next to the slit downward toward the hatch.
