    Episode 530

The friends thought Lee Han was testing them and gave them wary looks.

However Lee Han looked at his friends as if he was genuinely puzzled and asked again.

“What are you all doing here?”

    “you…”

    “Forcing me to do it…”

    “We were fighting…?”

Lee Han paused at his friends’ sharp answers.

“You were fighting because I forced you to?”

    “huh.”

    “What nonsense.”

    Lee Han chuckled.

“Are you the kind of people who will listen to someone forcing you to do something?”

    “…”

    “…”

My friends felt like they were suffocating because they were so wronged.

What was even more unfair was that that statement was true to some extent.

    That’s true but…

    That’s true but…!

    “You really ordered it!!”

Gainando shouted in a voice full of resentment.

    “Look at this!!”

    “?”

Lee Han asked after seeing the blue bruises around Guyando’s eyes.

“Did it happen during a fight?”

“no. This is the White Tiger Tower guy from earlier who hit me while dodging an attack. Other than that here are the clothes. “My clothes are torn.”

“I see. “I guess the fight wasn’t that fierce?”

The students reacted violently to Lee Han’s words.

    “no!”

    “That prince bastard was lucky!”

“Can’t you see the bandage now?”

In response to the passionate shout Lee Han waved his hand as if he understood.

“i get it. okay. “Sleep… ugh.”

Lee Han belatedly felt a headache coming on.

As if he was belatedly remembering something that had happened while he was sleepwalking he felt a rush of memories coming back.

After drinking the suspicious spring water his whole mind was suddenly filled with a sense of certainty and he called his friends and rushed here…

“her. “Why did I do that?”

    “…”

    “…”

Some of the students wanted to swear but held back.

If they swore Wardanaz from before could have reappeared and attacked them.

Yoner asked with concern in his voice.

    “Lee Han. are you okay?”

“okay. It looks like the duration is completely over. Knowing the future is definitely dangerous…”

Knowing in your head and experiencing it in person are two different things.

Once I was possessed by the future I could feel that the blind sense was not always positive.

Some might say what’s so wrong with moving along the optimal path toward the most reasonable future but…

‘That’s not necessarily a good thing.’

When I saw my friends around me putting on bandages and splints I thought it could be dangerous.

“It seems to me that predicting the future is a really dangerous thing. Wodanaz.”

“i think so too. “We wizards need to be more humble.”

Seeing the White Tiger Tower students who normally had no interest in magic talking at length they clearly seemed to have developed a fear of precognitive magic.

Yoner opened his mouth to change his mood.

“But if you look at the positive side… you somehow overcome the obstacle! “It wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for that spring.”

    “Makin. “I broke my ankle.”

“Makin. “My neck hasn’t been able to turn to the side since a while ago.”

Ignoring his friends and pretending not to hear them Yoner pointed ahead.

“Aren’t you all curious about what’s behind you? Was there such a strong enemy blocking the road? “I heard there are treasures left behind by our predecessors.”

    “surely…”

Students who were suffering from injuries also jumped on board again.

After spending nearly a year at Einrogard the students’ common sense was quite broken.

Even if you break your ankle or sprain your neck and can’t turn you have to check your loot first.

Joner realizing that his friends’ mood had changed nodded his head.

And then he quietly whispered to Lee Han.

    “But what’s inside?”

    “I don’t know either.”

    “…huh?”

“I don’t know either. “You haven’t gone in.”

    “…”

Enhanced foresight Lee Han intuitively decided ‘The first thing to do now is to knock down the statue break through the underground passage and find what our predecessors left behind.’ But Lee Han whose effects were over could not figure out why he made that decision.

“Perhaps there are records left by seniors about the exams they took first?”

“I think that would be a bit of a shame.”

“what? “What could be so important?”

Lee Han was shocked by Yoner’s remarks.

Is there anything more important to students than study-related information?

“I wish I had meat. pork.”

    “I’d like alcohol.”

    “Then pork marinated in alcohol?”

“no. You idiots. You can get meat anywhere. Sweets are the best! “It’s a cake.”

“Prince you ate candy during the day earlier right?”

    “Isn’t it?”

“no. I ate. “You showed off by waving it in front of us.”

    “…Isn’t it?”

Lee Han spoke firmly in response to the conversation heard behind him.

    “That’s what’s strange about them.”

    ‘Lee-han you’re a bit strange too…’

Yoner thought so but swallowed it for the sake of his friend who had suffered.

    * * *

    Sigh-

Fortunately there were no traps after the statue disappeared. The students carefully opened the heavy door and entered.

The large underground space which was used as a warehouse for seniors had a dry dusty smell.

    “Wind…”

The princess called in the wind and swept away the dust. Guy Nando next to her was glaring at Aden Arth.

    “Check the shelves first.”

“for a moment. “Beware of traps.”

The Black Turtle Tower students asked back at Salko’s words.

“What kind of magic should I use to check it?”

    “Just wait a moment.”

The students looked with respect at the reassuring leader’s answer.

One of the qualities a leader must have is ability.

Only those who faced difficulties and immediately came up with solutions were qualified to become leaders.

“Wardanaz. “Can you feel the magic on the shelf over there?”

    “I don’t really feel anything?”

    “hmm. thanks.”

Salko came back and told his friends.

    “There is no trap.”

    “…”

    “…”

Black Turtle Tower students took out items from the shelves with complicated expressions.

    This is…

    I’m competent…am I?

    “Hmm.”

Lee Han looked around with a disappointed gaze.

Several bottles of alcohol made by seniors and some expired potions were also on the outside shelf. And some doodles and notes.

The grand plan to defeat the Mad Skull will soon be completed…

    Tsk tsk tsk… you’ll never guess what we’re planning…

    ‘It has no nutritional value.’

    Lee Han frowned.

What Lee Han wanted was systematic information about upcoming exams for various lectures not laments like this.

Of course if you think about it this wasn’t strange.

The probability of there being anything useful in a warehouse that hasn’t been used for a while was originally low.

However as someone who came in after a life-threatening duel with a statue it was disappointing.

I was hoping there would at least be something more useful than the outside…

    “?”

As Lee Han walked around he realized that only the inside of the warehouse was exceptionally clean.

Unlike other dusty spaces this one was clearly protected by various magic circles.

    ‘what?’

Lee Han looked puzzled and checked inside.

Starting with the magic circle that blocks dust various barriers were protecting the inner space.

And what was taking up most of that space was a huge artifact whose purpose I couldn’t figure out when I first saw it.

The round artifact which was slightly taller than a person looked like a gateway made by tying together random miscellaneous items.

    ‘What… is it an artifact?’

    -9/7

-The artifact just doesn’t work! Damn it. I need to complete this before I graduate. Otherwise you will be dishonorable to the senior who passed it on to you.

    -9/13

-I found a solution in the warehouse of a crazy skull. The orichalcon latch solved the problem of closing the driving part! haha! Just wait and see. I’ll make sure to solve the problem and tell you to the crazy skull’s face that I succeeded!

    -9/15

-I am trash who does not deserve to be in Einroguard.

    -9/18

-I shared some Mad Skull brandy with my friends and my energy came back. Damn Einrogard. Damn magic. I can’t believe I’m already in my golden year. It seems like it was only yesterday that I had an iron head. Can we really complete this?

    -9/22

-Space magic is like a plague on imperial magic. This shouldn’t have been studied in the first place.

    -10/2

-Even though I have completed the relevant magic formula I cannot possibly satisfy the magical power. How can we further reduce the horsepower here? Where do I get the missing horsepower? Should I ask my ancestors for a favor?

    -10/25

-All my hard work for three weeks was in vain. Even the heart of the Behemoth could not satisfy the amount of magic power. Ah if only I could use all of Einroguard’s magical power as I wish like a crazy skull!

    -11/10

-After giving up I felt both relieved and sad. I felt some consolation as I burned down a warehouse of crazy skeletons with my friends. Perhaps as our magic has increased a lot if we all work together we might be able to give the crazy skeleton a beating.

    -11/17

-Shit. There was a more severe punishment room. I attacked the crazy skeleton for no reason.

    -11/20

-I ended up trying to destroy the dimensional gateway artifact. As expected I couldn’t destroy what I inherited from my senior. It’s an inoperable piece of trash but a spell was placed to prevent it from breaking.

If any of my juniors discover this artifact I would like to earnestly ask them not to destroy it. Of course I will destroy it. I broke it down and got what I needed. But this is a truly amazing artifact that has been passed down and perfected from generation to generation…

    “…?!!!!”

Lee Han was surprised when he finished reading the journal next to him.

    ‘Dimension gateway… an artifact??’

The illusion that magic is a miraculous science that makes the impossible possible disappeared quickly after learning magic for just three months.

Magic was a study based on rules and theories that were more severe than reality and was not a shortcut to ignoring rules and order.

One of the cases that made this known was spatial movement.

Space-time magic boasted such extreme difficulty that no school was created within the empire and space movement boasted even more brutal difficulty as it was the most representative magic among them.

If an ordinary wizard were to cast a spell that moves matter one step in front of him his brain would be shattered and blood vessels would rupture in an instant.

And this difficulty level increased exponentially as the distance became longer and the number of targets increased.

As such if it were a dimensional gateway artifact it would not be wrong to say that it was realistically ‘impossible’.

‘He said it looked unstable as if it would collapse any moment.’

I was wondering why the artifact was made like a clumsy patchwork of miscellaneous things but it seems to have been a struggle to satisfy the necessary magical power and activate the magic.

Even if it had durability that would be destroyed after casting once casting itself was impossible without doing this.

However despite such efforts the artifact was not completed. Lee Han was honestly thrilled by the tenacity felt in this artifact.

‘…I can’t believe you went to this length to run away from school.’

Looking at the artifact’s design and records the destination was not far from here in the first place.

Just escaping from school was my primary goal.

There would have been many other methods for something like that but it was truly wizard-like to insist on this method.

    ‘I understand.’

Lee Han understood the feelings of his seniors.

Even though it started lightly at first little by little it was completed and on the way the skeleton principal laughed at him and asked ‘Is that even possible?’…

As time passes means can turn into ends.

Lee Han who was lost in appreciation for a moment looked away.

‘I guess we’ll have to dismantle it.’

As my predecessor left behind this inoperable artifact contained many valuable materials.

It was a luxury to just leave it alone.

    Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    “?”

    “????”

At that moment everyone in the warehouse turned their attention to the huge roar coming from the artifact.
