Life of a Magic Academy Mage – 469

Episode 469
“Wowardanaz?”
“okay. How are you?”
Lee Han glanced around the room.
From what I could see it seemed far from a punishment room.
‘Well Professor Craer isn’t a skeleton principal and wouldn’t have harassed a student he recruited for an exam.’
“Uh… that… that…”
Shiles rolled his eyes in embarrassment.
I felt like I would hear something if I returned to my Black Turtle Tower friends like this.
-You bastard don’t you have any sense of loyalty? You’re going to live alone!
-How worried we were because of you! I should have left at least one clue!
“Don’t worry. “I will thank my other friends for their hard work.”
Lee Han read Shiles’ inner thoughts and spoke.
Shiles was so moved that he cried.
“Wardanaz…!”
“If I need to rent the Richmond family carriage during my next vacation give me a discount.”
“It’s a joke too. “I could just lend it to you for free.”
“It’s not a joke?”
“…Is this also a joke?”
Vonrigg grunted and made a fierce noise.
The question was whether I should drop this tactless boy.
Shiles who was a horseman himself and had taken care of a lot of vehicles due to the nature of his transport guild family trembled as if he felt something ominous.
“Why are you doing this?”
“I guess you like it.”
“Well… I don’t think so.”
Shiles knew very well what kind of monster a griffon was.

Compared to Hippogriffs and Pegasus which are commonly mentioned together Griffons were very difficult to tame due to their ferocious nature and cunning intelligence.
Since the griffon was doing that Shiles wasn’t sure if Wardanaz had really tamed the griffon or if the griffon was deceiving Wardanaz.
“Wardanaz… that… you know. It’s not because I’ve never ignored you… Did you know that griffons are naturally fierce and good at trickery?”
Vonrig made a low growling noise.
It was absurd that the owner who had been loyal to him for the most part trusted him too late but it was very unpleasant that a boy was acting against him.
“hmm.”
Hearing Shiles’ words Lee Han looked down at Phone League.
Since he was in such a hurry he used a curse-removing potion to briefly remove the curse and bring him back. After listening to Shiles’ words Von Rigg suddenly seemed particularly fierce.
I didn’t know it was because I usually saw it in the form of a horse.
With a look full of resentment Ponrig clicked his beak and made a loud noise.
He said that although he was a bit harsh at first he was always loyal after that so you can’t believe just one word from a young bastard like that!
“no. Phone League is nice. …maybe.”
Von Rigg nodded his head cheerfully then paused. He felt something uneasy.
“Anyway get on quickly. “I have to prepare for the next test.”
Shiles noticed Von Rigg’s gaze and quickly got on board.
The Gryphon was scary but in fact Wodanaz was a very scary person. He came to rescue her but if he kept talking back he could have become scarier than the griffon.
“But how did you find out where I am?”
“With precognition magic.”
“…uh? “Is that possible?”
Shiles tilted his head.
Precognition is basically something that requires little information or clues and if the target is protected by magic the difficulty increases exponentially.
Shiles naturally thought that Wardanaz had found out about this area based on some clues and then figured out which floor of the tower they were trapped in but he figured it out with his precognition magic.
“I didn’t have time because of other exams so I just did it over and over again until I got it right. So it came out here.”
“…”
Shiles looked behind Lee Han with a shocked expression.
It was an unimaginably ignorant method.
There are side effects and reactions every time you use a precognitive spell but you just keep hitting them until they get the hang of it.
“Is… is that okay??”
“I have to take other tests too so I don’t have enough time. I can’t help it. “Let’s go quickly.”
“No you’re not doing this just because you don’t have time…”
I can’t believe you behave so drastically because you don’t have time to study for the test.
I was afraid because I couldn’t imagine what I would have done if I had been a little less.
“for a moment. “Then where did the griffon come from?”
“I briefly transformed the horse the professor lent me.”
“…It’s a joke right? “This too?”
Dalkak-
The door to the room where Shiles had been locked up until just now opened and Professor Passelette came inside.

The professor who had opened the door to give him a snack was dumbfounded at the sight of the half-shattered window and asked.
“…Why did you break it?”
“…”
Lee Han was slightly embarrassed by the question.
Huh?
‘Wasn’t it a test to destroy it and save it?’
When I thought about it the professor told me to find the location and submit it but he didn’t tell me to save it.
They just broke the window out of habit and came in.
‘hmm. ‘If I say it this way I sound like a crazy person.’
While Lee Han was wondering if there was a good excuse he made eye contact with Vonrig.
“if…”
Vonrig cried as if pleading not to use him as an excuse.
* * *
“Anyway well done…well done.”
Lee Han lowered his head in embarrassment for destroying the test site when he was told to solve the test questions.
But Professor Passelette didn’t seem to care much.
‘thank god. ‘You are a kind professor.’
“Then I’ll just go…”
“So you said I should teach differently!!!”
“!?”
“!”
Lee Han and Shiles were surprised to see the professor suddenly shouting in a different voice.
Vonrig cried lowly his eyes full of caution.
“professor?”
“ah. don’t mind. Don’t worry…”
“What if I don’t pay attention!!!”
“…”
‘I want to go home.’
Shiles thought to himself.
Being involved in a debate between two professors (actually it was just one person) was more uncomfortable than I thought.
“It’s just that I’m still a freshman so just leave me alone…”
“Geniuses should be taught differently! “That’s why they protest because they still teach it that way!”
“Well… because precognitive magic is dangerous…”
Even timid personalities came out and participated in the debate.
Lee Han paused as he saw the three personalities of the professor arguing with each other.
‘for a moment. ‘It’s dangerous.’
It wasn’t that it was dangerous for the professor to split his ego and fight. In fact it wasn’t even dangerous at this level in Einrogard.
What was dangerous was the content of the conversation.
The professor’s radical personality was insisting on a stronger teaching than now.
“Look! “How bored must you be to protest like this!”
“…no. It was my fault for breaking it. “I misunderstood the problem…”
“Don’t worry too much. It’s not because I broke it. “This is a debate that has continued since last time.”
Professor Passelette’s words did not offer much comfort.
The professor’s personalities discussed how to teach in the absence of Lee Han.
In our experience it was right for students to participate in the curriculum.
No there are no parties involved so why do they talk and decide among themselves?
“Then… compromise…”
‘What kind of compromise are you talking about?’
Lee Han cheered on Professor Passelette’s average personality.
As long as the extreme personality and the timid personality said ‘Let’s teach more strongly’ the only thing I could trust was the average personality.
“If you force yourself to teach it it will have the opposite effect.”
Lee Han nodded his head.
“That’s a story about criminals! “Do you think he’s normal?”
Lee Han shook his head.
“Just be sure…”
‘That personality is not a timid personality it’s just a weak personality.’
Lee Han secretly resented the professor’s timid personality which was swept away by his extreme personality.
If you are a person you should clearly push your argument forward but what if you lose to another person?
The good news is that the professor’s normal personality holds up…
“Think about it. In all other lectures you are learning advanced advanced courses but do you think it would be fun to just throw stones at the foresight magic? Or will you quit? No matter how disappointing a student is there are exceptions! Right now even stubborn people like Professor Knighton are looking at other professors and changing their minds!”
“??????”
Lee Han couldn’t believe his ears.
What did you just say?
“okay. okay.”
“I will admit it…”
“…”
Lee Han looked at the professor with bitter eyes.
In the end it ended like this.
Even now the difficulty level of Precognition Magic wasn’t that low but thinking about how it would increase after the midterm exam made his heart grow cold.
‘Is it my fault? ‘Is it such a big mistake to smash the tower’s windows?’
“Wardanaz.”
Shiles who was next to me spoke up.
“Well… cheer up.”
“…Let’s go out.”
The road back with Shiles was as dark and gloomy as Lee Han’s heart.
The two put Vonrig on a ferry (Vonrig returned after his transformation was released) and slowly glided across the water.
Shiles suddenly remembered and asked.
“Wardanaz shouldn’t you also take a test for illusion magic?”
Come to think of it wasn’t Professor Kirmin Ku’s tower where Shiles was imprisoned?
Shiles didn’t listen to illusion magic but Wardanaz was different.
“I came to save you after taking the test.”
“uh?”
Shiles wondered what was going on.
“Isn’t a test in progress right now?”
While Shiles was trapped underneath the tower first-year students were taking the Illusion Magic Exam.
Professor Kirmin placed the nightmares Mac had received throughout the tower and pushed the students to overcome them.
What was important to an illusion wizard was not only the ability to cast illusion magic. The mental strength not to be consumed by illusions was also important.
As important as how to overcome that nightmare was the students were still enduring it while screaming…
Wardanaaz saw it and came to save it??
“I expected it to end quickly. Fortunately it ended quickly. Then go in. Shiles. “I have to go take the remaining magic exams.”
“Wardanaz. “I don’t want to interfere but I think you should cut back on the lectures you take…”
* * *
“It’s over! Viva!!”
“It’s finally over!”
“hey. Wardanaz sees it. Pick up the book quickly you bastard.”
When I returned to the library students who had completed their midterm exams this week were throwing books and cheering.
Lee Han threw the White Tiger Tower student who threw the book aside and clicked his tongue.
‘Anyway there are more people who didn’t study.’
Looking at it now the students at the Blue Dragon Tower and the Phoenix Tower were sullen and wondering how they could have seen it better but the students at the White Tiger Tower were just excited that it was over.
“Wardanaz… Are there any exams left over the weekend?”
“I don’t have any.”
“and!!!! It’s over!!!! Viva!!!!”
After confirming that Lee Han-do’s test was over his friends threw their books in peace.
Some friends beat on crude drums and played songs of joy.
‘…Isn’t Mac angry?’
Seeing his friends glowing Lee Han suddenly felt sorry for Mac.
If you make such a fuss Mac might be so angry that he comes running…
“Wait a minute… I think I have one test left.”
At Lee Han’s words the friends who were unpacking the food they had stored and opening the lid of the liquor barrel stopped.
Huh?
“What’s left?”
“Is it black magic?”
“I thought the black magic was over last time?”
“Then enchantment?”
“The enchantment must have ended last time.”
“What about summoning magic?”
“Summoning magic…”
The friends who were trying to guess gave up and looked at Lee Han.
I just meant to tell you.
“Are there still exams left for the basic dance and advanced social classes?”
At Lee Han’s question the friends stayed quiet and then burst into laughter.
“There’s no test for that!”
“that’s right. “Just go tomorrow have fun dancing and that’s it.”
“…”
Lee Han frowned and looked at his excited friends.
“what’s the matter? Lee Han?”
“Shouldn’t the exam difficulty level be raised for dance and social classes as well?”
“…”
Yoner who had been putting lemonade in a glass looked at Ihan in disgust.
What kind of rude things did he say during one of the few break lectures!
