Solo Leveling: Ragnarok – 203
by Jessie@AFNCC
Episode 203
After all battles are over.
Suho moved with Lio Xing and had Shadow Naga ‘Gordon’ carry Jackson’s badly damaged truck.
And as Grid said ‘a stupid but useful animal’ Gordon followed behind Su-ho lightly carrying a truck full of Korean-made weapons and moving his sea serpent-shaped lower body.
Other demonic beasts continued to appear in the path ahead but as the shadow Nagas extracted as daily mercenaries rushed in they were no match for them.
While continuing to move through Loktak Field Suho heard an explanation about this place from Rio Sing.
“…what?”
Suho’s expression hardened.
I recklessly used the Shadow Exchange skill and came to India but after listening to the explanation I realized that the situation in this country was much more serious than I thought.
In short it ultimately happened because of the geopolitical characteristics of Manipur state where Loktak Field was located.
Manipur state located in northeastern India.
This land existed in an odd location bordering on all sides the borders of numerous countries including Myanmar Bangladesh and China.
Because of these geopolitical characteristics numerous serious conflicts have constantly occurred in this land throughout history.
The reasons for the conflict varied widely including political religious and tribal civil war.
“…But the problem is that the field-type dungeon has become too large due to several dungeon breaks occurring simultaneously around this place.”
“Could it be that the scope of the field has crossed the border?”
“that’s right. You understand this right away! “Of course it’s Suho.”
“The situation is similar in Korea. “North Korea is always a problem for our country.”
Despite Lio Xing’s admiring response Suho only made a bitter expression.
Field-type dungeons have the characteristic of gradually spreading blue fog and expanding the area if left unattended.
Of course if managed well in most cases it does not spread beyond a certain area but when multiple dungeons overlap in one area like this things become completely different.
The representative place is North Korea.
North Korea was a land that was reduced to a huge monster field at the same time as the cataclysm.
If you leave it as is the field will gradually expand and eventually end up crossing the Chinese border line just above it.
North Korea’s demons will invade China.
If that happens the situation will inevitably turn into a political issue with China.

“that’s right. In the end if our country fails to eradicate the demonic beasts in time and causes damage to the neighboring country the problem becomes serious. Compensation for damages is compensation for damages but the bigger problem is….”
“Even if a hunter guild from another country comes across the border to catch those demon beasts there will be no way to stop them.”
“Exactly.”
“There could be war.”
Hearing Suho’s words Lio Xing and Jackson nodded with serious expressions.
In the end the Hunter Guild where numerous awakened people gathered was no different from an armed army.
No on the contrary they were a much more powerful and dangerous armed group that could not be compared to soldiers in terms of combat power.
‘…It’s already a war in itself. ‘The moment they attack the National Assembly and cause havoc the country is actually conquered.’
In the end in order to prevent such a situation Chairman Woo Jin-cheol was doing his best to purify North Korea at this very moment.
“for a moment.”
At that time while Suho was talking with Lio Xing the most practical problem of all suddenly appeared in Suho’s mind and he looked around.
Loktak Lake is a famous tourist attraction in India.
As famous as it is the scenery here is truly beautiful.
However anyone can’t help but get goosebumps when they learn the identity of the ‘blue fog’ that naturally blends in with this beautiful landscape.
This was because if ordinary people not awakened people inhaled the blue fog their entire bodies would burn and turn into mist burns causing them to run wild.
“How many people lived in this part of Rio?”
“3 million people.”
“this.”
Suho’s expression became more serious at the answer that came out right away.
“Are you saying that there is no way all those 3 million people were awakened and that they all eventually turned into Mist Burn?”
“That’s not it. “Actually I was worried about that first but luckily it didn’t seem to be the case.”
While answering Rio Xing lifted the ‘Asura Guild Token’ that was hanging around his neck and showed it to Suho.
“It’s a stardust necklace right?”
Suho’s eyes widened.
No the piece was much larger than a stardust necklace and was slightly smaller than the star pieces embedded in the grid and Seong Il-hwan’s body.
If I had to give it a name I thought a star piece necklace would be appropriate.
Suho immediately took Lio Xing’s stardust necklace and asked.
“Where did you get this?”
“This is an employee ID card that proves that you belong to our Asura Guild. I heard that I started using it recently but when I looked into it I found out that there was a reason why this necklace came to symbolize our guild. “Look at this.”
Squeak.
This time Rio Xing took out a new necklace from his pocket and showed it to Suho.
This time the smaller size of the jewel was similar to the ‘stardust necklace’ distributed in Korea.
“The name of this necklace is ‘Stardust.’ “This is something our guild is distributing for free to Indians.”
“A stardust necklace? “Why?”
“I heard that if an ordinary person possesses this necklace it has the function of not turning into mist burn even if they inhale the blue mist.”
“…!”

The Ashura Guild was the most famous large guild in India and was a group that always did its best to protect its citizens.
Its leader Siddharth Bachchan was also an S-class hunter who had such a positive influence that he earned the respect of Indians.
And ‘Stardust’ was an item known to have been developed by Siddharth Bachchan himself for the common people of India.
When a dungeon break occurred in an area not everyone could suddenly leave that area.
In particular poor people had no place to go after leaving the land where they had lived for a long time.
But that didn’t mean I couldn’t leave.
If you stay in the land where the blue mist spreads for too long it will eventually turn into mist burn and you will burn to death.
But what was developed at that time was Stardust.
“…real people live there.”
After some time Suho and his party discovered small villages spread throughout Loktak Field.
And just as Lio Xing said he saw many ordinary people still living there and made a bewildered expression.
All of them were wearing stardust necklaces.
[Little Lord it seems that foreign religions are penetrating this country much faster.]
“I know. If this continues India’s official religion will change into a foreign religion.”
Grid and Iron former high priests and priests of the Foreign God Church made small faces on either side of Suho and made comments.
[If you wear the stardust necklace for a long time your faith in Italim will instinctively grow.]
[Of course it is closer to a phenomenon where the mind is polluted by the power of a higher-ranking being rather than a true religious belief.]
[To think of distributing this to the entire nation the driving force of Indian priests is much greater than that of Korean priests…]
“So you’re impressed? “Fuck both of your heads.”
[yes.]
[yes? I didn’t say anything…yep. I will do it.]
At Suho’s words Grid and Iron fell down with their heads on the ground.
However what was surprising was that the village residents did not react at all upon seeing these shadow soldiers.
It’s normal to react by being surprised or whispering but it felt quite bizarre to see everyone just minding their own business with expressionless expressions.
Even though this village had been invaded by demonic beasts at some point there were gruesome corpses scattered all over the place but no one cared about it.
“Suho the staff in our office all had that look on their faces. Could it be that this is all a side effect of putting Stardust on the line?”
“I think so.”
Lio Xing who heard from Suho about the stardust necklace incident that occurred in Korea had a bad expression.
It was scary to think that this atmosphere could spread to the whole of India.
Su-ho who was looking around the village decided without hesitation to find the captain who caused this incident.
“Rio let’s start by finding the village where your guild leader Siddharth Bachchan is located. “If that person is an apostle of Italim if you feed him water from the spring of Echo Forest the problem may be resolved more easily than you think.”
“okay. But how do you find it? “There was no one at the location already announced by the guild office.”
“hmm. In times like this you should definitely ask an expert.”
Without hesitation Suho turned and called the experts.
“grid. flatiron.”
[yes!]
[Did you call me!]
“Can you find the location of the Void Gate?”
Grid and Iron began to rush into explanations.
[As expected Solord! This is indeed a good decision.]
[The temples of foreign religions tend to be built near dimensional gaps. so….]
“Just to the point.”
[Void gates occur when fields generated from regular gates overlap each other.]
[Draw a circle around the gate and there will be a void gate somewhere at the intersection.]
“Can you find it?”
At Suho’s question Grid and Iron smiled confidently and their eyes sparkled.
[Leave it to me!]
[If you spread out with your soldiers and search for them you will find them quickly.]
[Master! Please give me a chance too!]
[Hoo?]
Grid raised the corner of his mouth as if it was funny to see the suddenly appearing shadow lancer Quay’s eyes burning with competitive spirit.
“It doesn’t matter anyway so let’s leave right away.”
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
At the guardian’s command the shadow soldiers scattered as if competing.
The only soldier left by Suho’s side was Gordon the shadowy Naga who followed with a truck.
“Now then let’s move on to the next village on our own…”
But that was then.
Creepy!
“…!”
“…!”
At that moment Suho and Lio Xing’s expressions suddenly changed and they turned their gazes in the same direction.
Kwakwakwauk-!
[Solord! It’s a battle!]
A series of huge explosions erupted from the direction where the grid flew and the ground shook as if there had been an earthquake.
Considering that this is a field full of swarms of demonic beasts this could well have happened but the energy felt was too unusual to dismiss as such.
Ber twitched his antennae to gauge the energy of the enemy Greed was facing.
[At least S level! Moreover the energy I feel next to him…!]
“Beepee?”
If even Ragna reacted its identity was obvious.
“Yongin people!”
bang!
Immediately Suho kicked the ground and jumped forward.
‘If it’s S-class is it really Siddharth Bachchan? ‘Why are you with the dragon people?’
Numerous cases came to mind as Suho ran.
However upon arriving at the scene where the battle was taking place a slightly different situation unfolded than expected.
Flash!
A blinding flash of light.
Ku-kwa-kwa-kwa-kwa-kwak!
When Su-ho arrived a clash of enormous power was already taking place enough to turn the entire land upside down.
At the same time the screams of demonic beasts were coming from all directions.
At the center of the clash of immense power Grid was seen fighting with a man.
‘Three-way battle?’
Ku-kwa-kwa-kwa-kwa-kwa-!
However the most surprising thing was the identity of the opponent who did not back down at all while confronting the power of Grid a former S-class villain.
No rather it was overwhelming the grid.
“…Interesting.”
An old man with flowing white hair and radiating tremendous energy from his whole body.
The most vicious smile appeared on his lips as he clashed with the grid.
It looks as if this battle is very enjoyable.
However the language that actually came out of his mouth was not an Indian language.
“I can’t believe that a demonic beast can produce this much power.”
Chinese.
That’s right. He was a completely different person than Siddharth Bachchan who had been a national power level hunter in his previous life.
Ber recalled his face from a long memory and shouted his name.
[Liu Zhikang!]
That’s right.
Liu Zhikang of China.
He was a man who in his previous life was a national power level hunter and was once praised as the greatest force in mankind alongside Thomas Andre.
