    Episode 119

    Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Quay transformed into a black arrow and flew forward through the bitter cold snowstorm that blew like a typhoon.

If ordinary archers had seen this they would have cursed and said that it was just a waste of magic power.

Because it was truly a blind arrow.

However the arrow of protection has ‘eyes’.

“Quay! “Whoever you see first go for it!”

    [yes! Master…!]

Quay’s voice was buried in the snowstorm and disappeared.

At the same time Suho stopped caring about Quay.

What was important right now was this.

    Shwaaaaaaaa!

Meanwhile all of Scavenger’s hunters including Suho passed through the gate and continued to fall down.

“Everyone prepare for impact with magical power…!”

In the distance the voices of the Scavenger Guild members responding to Thomas Andre’s charismatic commands faded away.

My entire vision was blurred due to the relentless snowstorm.

Because of that I couldn’t even see Esil or Lio Xing who were right next to me but I believed that I could handle this on my own.

    Shwaaak!

As Thomas said Suho himself protected his entire body with magical power and maximized his senses.

Then through the pure white snowstorm a landscape below finally began to come into view little by little.

    Whoa!

    “…!”

At that moment Suho’s eyes widened as he witnessed the scene with a huge headwind.

    forest.

I could see a pure white frozen forest below.

Icy rivers and trees covered in snow.

Ice crystals were sparkling in the stream that ran through the dense mountainous area.

The spring water that had been flowing along a small valley had already formed a small lake blending naturally with the frozen forest.

[Solord! We need to bring Quay back! If it falls like this…!]

It would have been dangerous if it had gone down like this according to Ver’s urgent cry.

However if it had not been for Quay’s flaps of wings turning into arrows he would never have been able to break through this harsh snowstorm.

This blizzard is not just a weather phenomenon but a space-time storm itself.

Because it was a blizzard filled with magical power that even broke through dimensional cracks.

However even while listening to Ver’s urgent cries Suho could not help but be distracted by the wonderful scenery that was drawn into his field of vision through the blowing snowstorm.

The scenery that unfolded before my eyes was so spectacular that it could not be compared to any dungeon I had ever experienced.

However there is just one thing that is disappointing.

The point was that I was falling naked from high above that beautiful scene.

‘Are you saying there are ice elves living in that forest?’

Anyway now that I had figured out the situation it was time to deal with it.

    “Grey River God!”

    Kuuuuuu-

    [‘Pet: Gray’ is announced.]

    Whioooo!

Even in a harsh snowstorm a spiritual wind blew and enveloped Suho’s whole body.

    [Use ‘Skill: Grassland Wind’.]

[The wind of the meadow sets the priest’s body free.]

[Movement speed temporarily increases by 30%.]

[Attack speed temporarily increases by 30%.]

    Wow!

Suho whose silver hair was bleached in an instant quickly opened the inventory and replaced the item.

A faint smile appeared on Suho’s lips as he held two of Volkan’s horns in both hands.

If the opponent is a storm.

    ‘Just cut it.’

    Shwaaagh!

    [Use ‘Skill: Storm Slash’.]

A fierce snowstorm enveloped Suho’s twin swords.

The wind was reversed and the speed of the fall was forcibly slowed.

    Phew!

Suho’s body began to slowly fall into the middle of the forest as if gliding.

Volkan’s horn was struck vertically towards a large tree nearby.

    Kwajijijijik-!

The huge tree split in two due to Volkan’s horn and the Guardian’s falling speed further decreased.

    …chuck.

    “Well for now I lived.”

Thanks to the noble sacrifice of the tree Suho landed safely on the thick snow and looked around with a calm gaze.

All you see is pure white snow and trees.

The hunters who fell together could not see whether they had fallen at different points.

    “I suddenly got into trouble.”

[I now know why so few hunters have returned alive from here.]

“I know. “If this were the case I would have failed all the time… Wait a minute?”

While Suho was nodding his head at Ver’s words a question suddenly appeared in Suho’s mind.

He raised his head and looked up at the sky where the dimensional rift had opened making a puzzled expression.

“Then how did the people who came back alive get back? “Can you fly that way?”

    [Kiek?]

At those words Berdo narrowed his eyes and looked at the gate in the sky.

Of course it would have been possible for hunters with flying skills.

But there was a catch before that.

[Hmm. Now that I think about it… I don’t think those ice golems would destroy the ground like this every time.]

If all the hunters who came to conquer the Glacier Dungeon passed through the gate in the same way all of the land on Facade Island would have already been devastated.

However there is no way that the ground was covered again after it fell like this every time.

[Perhaps there is not just one entrance.]

“There is more than one gate?”

[yes. Look at the sky right now. Humans often simply refer to it as a gate but in reality dimensional cracks tend to widen as time goes by.]

As Ber said the gate that Su-ho passed through was not just an ordinary hole but a space in which the space was torn apart.

Since Façade Island was already an area uncontrollably contaminated with magic it was not surprising that there were numerous holes leading to the dungeon.

“Then other hunters have come here through other holes…”

    Shocked.

Suho didn’t finish his sentence but immediately twisted his waist and swung his sword.

    Sigh!

    “Kerreuk…!”

[The ice kobold has been defeated.]

With that single slash the head of the magical beast that had sneaked up from hiding in the blizzard was cut off.

Suho immediately looked around and smiled faintly.

“I guess I fell too loudly.”

    [We are already surrounded.]

    Wheeoooo-

Suddenly in the forest where the blizzard was blowing murderous gazes were surrounding Suho.

    [Ice Kobold]

    [Ice Kobold]

    ….

A blizzard mixed with magical power disrupted sight and hearing but that didn’t seem to be a problem for the magical beasts whose main habitat was this place.

    “…It’s fun.”

    Suho just laughed.

This is a situation where you have to rely entirely on your senses stats.

It’s at the level of a kobold now but how many stronger enemies are lurking beyond it?

Moreover I am currently separated from the colleagues I came in with.

    [It’s rather good.]

    Ber also laughed.

Wouldn’t it be the perfect situation for Suho to level up with peace of mind if his vision was blocked and he was alone?

[The time to level up has arrived.]

    “Mino Tau. “Come out.”

    Shwaaagh!

Two giant shadow demons that rise from the shadows at the guardian’s command.

    [Shadow Minotaur Lv.1]

    knight rank

    [Shadow Minotaur Lv.1]

    knight rank

The Gwanghyeolwoo that Suho had personally killed and saved in the demon world had now become Suho’s trustworthy soldiers.

    [Mmmuuuu-!]

The shadow minotaurs with black steam wafting from their entire bodies spread their muscular arms and roared fiercely.

The bodies of the ice kobolds who seemed ready to rush towards Suho at any moment trembled instinctively due to that momentum.

Suho ordered pointing at the guys.

    “Trample it all down.”

    [Mmmuuu-!]

    [Mooooooo-!]

    Coo goo goo goo goong!

[The ice kobold has been defeated!]

[The ice kobold has been defeated!]

[The ice kobold has been defeated!]

The battle that followed was overwhelming.

The number of kobolds constantly appearing in the forest exceeded hundreds but they were trampled to death by the cruel violence of the Shadow Minotaur.

And only then did the real thing that was hiding behind them finally begin to reveal itself.

    [Ice Troll]

    “Kwaaaaah!”

A monster similar in size to the ice golems seen above swung a log in one hand and struck the head of the shadow minotaur ‘Tau’.

    Kwasik!

Tau’s neck was broken by such destructive force that the log was shattered.

    but.

    “…!”

    [Hmm?]

    It was no use.

Tau’s vicious eyes are engulfed in black steam and his broken neck returns to its original state.

In front of him the ice troll felt a chill.

Tau was smiling with an eerie expression.

As if this is all it is.

And immediately Tau’s arm muscles swelled as if they were about to burst as he raised his fist towards the ice troll.

    [Mmmm…!]

The moment when overwhelming violence is about to be unleashed on the ice troll.

    Phew!

    “…!”

Suddenly a black spear pierced through the Ice Troll’s back and into its chest.

    Wow!

When the spear was pulled out the ice troll collapsed and died on the spot.

[The ice troll has been defeated.]

The owner of that spear was none other than Quay.

Quay who was shot with an arrow and then immediately returned to where Guardian was trampled on the ice troll’s body and smiled meaningfully at Tau.

    [I was faster.]

    [Mmmuu!]

[whatever. He’s so slow he can’t even speak like a burst frenulum.]

Ignoring Tau who was purring angrily Quay immediately approached Suho and knelt down.

    chuck.

    [Lance Knight Quay has returned.]

However Quay did not return empty-handed.

Lee Chae appeared in Suho’s eyes.

Quay’s hand was holding ‘something’ that knocked him unconscious.

    “What did you catch?”

[This is an ice elf that I flew and hit.]

Surprisingly what Quay caught was a young ice elf who looked about ten years old.

Of course I knew as soon as I saw its appearance that it was an ice elf.

Rather what Suho noticed was none other than the name tag floating above the elf’s head.

[Guardian of the Baruka tribe Sirka]

    ‘Guardian of the Baruka tribe?’

It was a magical beast with some meaningful modifier attached to it.

First of all there is evidence that ice elves live in tribes according to information from Rio Sing.

But what was more surprising than that was the fact that this ice elf was still alive.

    “Are you still alive?”

[yes. Unfortunately I couldn’t bear to kill him.]

    “what?”

    Suho was truly surprised.

Truly surprising words came out of Quay’s mouth.

There was no way Quay could have realized the preciousness of life now.

However the words that followed from Quay’s mouth were even more surprising.

[This ice elf recognized me. He asked me if I knew the Shadow Lord. So I was wondering if it might be a clue…]

    “what?”

    Suho’s eyes widened.

Quay asked for a large fish.
