Episode 117
[Facade Island]
‘Façade’ is a small island located in the Pacific Ocean and was the smallest republic in the world.
It was a very small independent country with the smallest population among the full member countries of the United Nations and its area was only about a quarter of Jeju Island.
However Facade was also a fairly wealthy country compared to its size.
Since the island itself was made of phosphate rock created by the accumulation of ‘guano (animal feces)’ it was possible to enjoy enormous wealth just by mining the enormous amount of phosphate rock buried on the island.
This was especially true because the population was small compared to the amount of money being earned.
However as soon as the cataclysm occurred problems began to arise from the insufficient population.
When the population was small the absolute number of hunters who naturally awakened was also bound to be small.
When a gate occurred there was a severe shortage of hunters who were the only force that could block it.
And in the end…
‘That day’ has come.
‘Dungeon Break’
Ireland which lacked the number of hunters was quickly eroded by the blue fog without any time to resist.
It became a ‘field-type dungeon’.
Later President Facade tried to spend a huge amount of money to hire foreign hunters as mercenaries but by then the situation had already reached a point where it could not be handled.
Suddenly ordinary citizens without magical aptitude started turning into Mist Burns and running rampant here and there.
In fact the façade was destroyed that day.
“…At that time information about Mist Burn and magical aptitude had not yet spread throughout the world.”
“….”
Suho was receiving a situation briefing from Laura while flying to the facade on Thomas Andre’s private plane.
“Just like that the entire façade of the country disappeared. “There are still a few survivors alive there but they are essentially refugees from a ruined country.”
“But fortunately or unfortunately the president of that country is still alive.”
When Thomas who was leisurely looking at the clouds in the sky with his arms crossed next to him said something Suho looked at him and asked back.
“Has the President awakened to become a Hunter?”
“that’s right. You were lucky. However the first thing I did as soon as I woke up was to kill my family members who had turned into mist burns… so you could say I was unlucky.”

“….”
At those words Suho had no choice but to keep his mouth shut.
It couldn’t have been a truly terrible situation.
Laura raised her glasses and continued the briefing again.
“That’s why experts say this these days. “When the dungeon break occurs the most dangerous thing is not the demon beast but the blue fog itself flowing from the gate.”
Suho also nodded agreeing with what he said.
What I have learned through experience so far is that the demonic beasts are ultimately nothing more than refugees wandering between the gaps in the dimension.
Of course its habits are so vicious that it instinctively wants to attack and eat humans but the more fundamental problem was the blue fog.
Suddenly a conversation he had with Ver and Rakan’s fang came into Suho’s mind.
[This blue fog is the magic power of outer space. The purpose is to forcibly break through the dimensional wall and cause a crack in the world.]
-right. Because of this fog the sanctuary I was in also wandered through a dimensional gap and became connected to Earth.
[In the end what the outer space guys want is to spread this fog throughout the Earth and cause a great rift. They are trying to create a hole large enough for their army to cross the dimension.]
‘…And like the swamp we saw yesterday as the demonic beasts soaked in blue fog spread everywhere the contaminated area gets bigger and bigger.’
Suho had a serious expression on his face as he recalled the swamp area that was getting wider in real time yesterday.
It was unfortunate that there were a lot of hunters around at the time and the result of not being able to resolve the situation quickly was the field-type dungeons that he had experienced numerous times.
At least they don’t get any bigger than that because they have a barbed wire fence surrounding them and a defense is made to prevent demonic beasts from escaping outside.
By preventing the demonic beasts spreading the blue mist from crossing over.
Even these days there is a trend of developing various methods to prevent demonic beasts from accessing the barbed wire by using the magical power of magic stones making it even safer.
However Facade Island which I am currently going to had the sea on all sides.
The problem was that the erosion had already ended before specialized equipment such as barbed wire was developed.
“We have arrived.”
After a while the private plane carrying them finally landed on the coast of Façade Island.
When the plane door opened the bitter cold outside was waiting for Suho.
“…omg! “Have you arrived?”
Lio Xing who had been sleeping in the seat next to him felt the cold and took off his blindfold.
Laura pointed to Rio Xing and asked Suho.
“But why on earth did you bring this Indian hunter? Are you cooperating with the Asura Guild?”
“I help Suho. “I came as an interpreter.”
Lio Xing proudly introduced himself.
Although he was not good at Korean because he had only recently learned it he was basically a scholar who could speak four languages.
‘We can’t lose Seongsu-ho to the Scavengers.’
In order to move with the scavenger guild which was mostly made up of Americans English was essential but Suho did not know how to speak English.
Lio Xing had been requesting to be included in the attack force for this reason.
‘Anyway safety is guaranteed if you move with Thomas Andre so I will only help with the interpretation and make Seong Su-ho continue to rely on me.’
Lio Xing’s eyes lit up as he said it was a very perfect plan.
But the problem lay elsewhere.
Outside the plane members of the Scavenger Guild who had already arrived and were waiting for Thomas Andre were stationed in barracks.

“Guild leader!”
“The guild leader has arrived!”
Rumble!
A group of large figures with a scary look came towards Thomas Andre fearing that he might be a scavenger.
“Thomas! Why are you so late… Wow!”
“Be loud you bastards.”
Thomas Andre kicked the first guy who ran towards him and grinned as he looked at the faces of each guild member with his grim eyes.
“Is it very cold?”
“No you’re saying that!”
“How can they leave elites like us unattended here!”
“How much money would I make if I went through just one more dungeon during this time?”
“It’s really cold! “It’s cold!”
A loud commotion arose as if waiting for a word from Thomas Andre.
Everyone without exception had expressions full of dissatisfaction.
However perhaps because of a colleague who was beaten after trying to calm down first the momentum seemed to have subsided a little compared to the first time.
“But boss. “What are those little guys?”
One of them asked pointing to Suho and Rio Sing who happened to be standing near Thomas Andre.
Since they were already surrounded by large scavengers they had no choice but to look very small in comparison.
“what? “Did you make us wait just to bring these guys?”
“Does it look weak?”
“no. Still I think the mana I can feel is about B-level.”
“No what if it’s B grade? “How can I use my strength here with such a weak body?”
The Scavenger Guild members who had already arrived here a few days ago frowned as they glanced at Suho and his group with blatant gazes.
However despite receiving such attention Suho had no thoughts.
‘What do you mean?’
Because I didn’t know English.
However just by looking at their expressions they could sense that the atmosphere was not welcoming.
“Boss did you really make us wait in this cold place to bring them back?”
“Oh what is it? Really… Gaek!”
Another guy was muttering and was kicked by Thomas.
But their reaction was completely natural.
The tanker who had just been beaten got up again and protested to Thomas Andre with a truly angry expression.
“boss. No I’m not kidding. This is your first time here right? In this cold hunters with such weak stamina cannot use their strength properly. “We were exhausted from just being here for three days.”
“you’re right. But the problem is that it’s like this even though it’s still outside the dungeon.”
It was like that.
The area where Thomas Andre’s private plane landed is the outermost area of the field-type dungeon that has not yet been eroded.
So in Korea it was right in front of the barbed wire.
However now this area has turned into a frigid area as if it were Antarctica.
Truly a glacier.
“If you go into the glacier dungeon with these guys your burden will only increase. “I’ve never seen those guys come back alive until now?”
“So what are you doing? “Of course not a tank but a dealer?”
A guild member glanced at the sword in Lio Xing’s hand and laughed.
But the problem was the moment his gaze passed those two and turned to Suho.
“Why doesn’t he have a weapon? “Is it a magic world?”
“note….”
Tomas Andre looked a little embarrassed at that question.
It was actually a good thing that the guild members were left alone in this cold place for a few days.
Even though he was acting so harshly he knew that his guild members were by no means weak.
In the meantime they must have been playing their roles by themselves hunting down the nearby demon beasts.
However the problem is that although the reason these guys were made to wait was because of Suho the words to introduce Suho were very vague.
Fortunately Laura came forward at the right time.
“Hunter Seong Su-ho here… is a Korean hunter and a C-class summoner.”
“her?”
“Summoning art?”
“Did I hear wrong just now?”
I told the truth but the reactions to what I said were even more absurd.
In the end a large scavenger guild member could not stand it any longer and approached Suho with great strides.
The big man who was one head taller than Suho looked down at Suho with longing eyes and gritted his teeth.
“A summoner? Yes kid. What can you summon? Since it’s cold wouldn’t it be great if you could at least summon a fire moth?”
However the problem was Suho’s poor English skills.
It was impossible to understand his angry English pronunciation and Lio Xing who heard what he said next to him quickly translated for Suho.
“Suho. “Can you do summoning?”
“recall? Ah that’s right.”
Suho said that he had forgotten and took out the key to the shadow dungeon.
And he said while sticking it into his own shadow.
“Me and Eshil.”
Shuuuuuk!
“Did you call me?”
“…!”
“…!”
At that moment Esil suddenly appeared from Suho’s shadow.
The eyes of everyone who was looking at Suho with an expression of disapproval at the shocking sight were colored with astonishment.
“Who’s buying?!”
“Summoning someone?!”
“What is this again!”
Thomas Andre who brought Suho in was equally surprised.
Esil was staying in Guardian’s Shadow Dungeon while traveling by plane and of course the reason was because of his overseas visa.
He managed to register as a hunter with the help of Jinho Yoo to apply for the guild but Eshil was basically a devil.
Even issuing a visa was a hassle.
“Suho? Are you summoning people too? Summoned beast?”
Even Lio Xing couldn’t help but be shocked when Eshil whom he had seen in Egypt suddenly jumped out from Suho’s shadow.
Esil also recognized Rio Sing.
“hmm? “What is this guy the guy I saw at the pyramid last time?”
“Do colleagues? recall? person?”
However Lio Xing’s mind was becoming more and more disorganized.
‘I’m in big trouble.’
A sense of crisis came over me.
There were two interpreters.
