    Chapter Index

The person who spoke up was Isha.

The eldest sister had her hands on her chest, her red, cool dragon pupils slowly sweeping over the crowd, “This wolf with the ability to remotely knife people is amongst us all. It could be Claudia-senpai, it could be Luo, it could even be me.”

Then Isha looked back to Leon, “So, how do we find out about this wolf next?”

Leon pondered for a little while and returned, “Let’s continue with the quest. I think everyone has noticed that more and more useful information is surfacing as the game progresses, and the only way to help the princess get back the Black Sacred Stone is to find all the clues about the Lone Wolf’s identity as soon as possible.”

“How about a team of two? That way, the wolves won’t dare to just knife anyone.” Helena suggested.

If the knife was used in a group of two, the most suspicious person would be the one in the same group as the “victim”.

“But that lone wolf, if it does have the ability to knife people remotely, then the man-on-man play in pairs won’t work, and will instead allow the real wolves to muddle through and eliminate the good guys one by one.” Noah said.

Helena nodded in a daze, “So that’s it…”

“Tell you what, it’s business as usual for everyone, and anyway, if it’s a real remote knife man, we can’t hide from it even if we want to.”

Leon said, “And as I said just now, for the sake of the game’s balance, such a strong ability as Remote Blade Man will definitely be limited, such as it can only be used once in a period of time or something like that. So we don’t have to be too scared, we can definitely uncover that wolf by doing the quests and finding clues in an organized manner.”

    This morale-boosting speech by General Lay sounded nothing like [an old friend of the King];

To the point where it’s very much like [the princess’s loyal dog].

It can’t be helped, since the other lone wolf counterpart has the advantage of being a ‘knife man’ that he doesn’t have, he can only temporarily pull the strings with the good guys’ camp so that he doesn’t have any support at the critical moment.

“Alright then, that’s it for now, everyone keep an eye out and be careful when teaming up for quests as well.”

Isha said, “The next meeting is at 8:00 p.m. if we don’t call [an interim meeting].”

    “Well, take care, everyone.”

    After deliberating, the crowd dispersed.

Leon made his way back to his floor, his big sister Isha walking in front of him.

The two opened the door to their room almost simultaneously.

But no one was in a hurry to get inside.

After a few seconds of ‘stalemate’, Isha slowly turned back to Leon.

The red-haired beauty asked softly, with a faint smile on her lips.

“Do you have any leads on the lone wolf, brother-in-law?”

Leon shrugged, “Nah. How about you sis?”

    “Neither have I.”

“Wow…looks like it’s going to be a busy night then, halfway through the game, but we haven’t found a single wolf, let alone retrieved the Black Sacred Stone.”

Isha nodded, “Yeah, get a move on.”

After a brief conversation, Isha gently pushed open the door panel.

Just as she had one foot in the room, however, she suddenly heard Leon say, coldly, behind her, that
