    Chapter Index

Leon picked up the candy, hesitated for a split second, then put it in his mouth.

“Meeting at 8:00 p.m. Don’t forget.” Isha reminded.

Leon nodded and whirled around to leave Isha here.

As soon as he closed the door, Leon rushed back to his room at a fast pace.

He ran to the restroom and spit out the candy.

After rinsing his mouth, Leon took out the portion of [Peppermint Herbal Tea] that Losweather had handed him again.

He uncapped the bottle and then drank it down in one gulp.

17 Rewarded with a third child (4k words)

After drinking the [Peppermint Herbal Tea], Leon didn’t immediately throw away the ‘antidote’, but found a small box to keep it in.

Doing so is leaving an afterthought.

This ‘fate of the whole group’ regarding the [Infectious Disease in the Refinery] came too coincidentally and bizarrely, so Leon had to be extremely careful.

He couldn’t be 100% sure that the antidote Big Sister had given him was real, but he didn’t dare to gamble on it, so he could only tentatively drink the [Peppermint Herbal Tea] that he had originally planned to use later on in the game ahead of time to get rid of the negative effects of the current infectious disease.

If, at a later stage, it is determined that Big Sister is ironically good, then this antidote left behind is safe to consume.

Overall, Leon made a conservative move.

And, of course, it was thanks to Lois Visser that this was thought of.

She was the one who gave Leon the [Peppermint Herbal Tea], otherwise Leon would still be agonizing over whether to take this antidote or not.

After coming out of the restroom and resting for a while, Leon was out the door again.

He headed to the communal kitchen and retrieved the Black Sacred Stone hidden under the water tank, then he made his way to the first floor lobby and after looking around to make sure no one was here, Leon hid the Black Sacred Stone in a pair of guards’ armor at the entrance to the conference room.

This was something he noticed during the morning meeting, the entire first floor hall only had the function of a meeting room, and did not have any scenes that triggered quests and destinies, so compared to the communal kitchen, this place would not be visited at all on weekdays, except for meeting times.

Hiding in guard armor is also a relatively safe option.

After hiding the Black Sacred Stone, Leon went back upstairs.

By chance, I met the two daughters of the [friend group].

Holding hands, Moune and Kouki caught a glimpse of Leon at that end of the corridor.

    “Daddy~”

Moune shouted sweetly, then pulled Kouko over in a small trot.

Leon crouched down and asked with a smile, “What’s up, on a mission?”

“Uh-huh, but it was a three-person mission, and we wanted to get Dad to do it with us.”

Leon, of course, was happy to do the quest with his daughters, but asked, casually.
