    All right.

    Hear thou, do men speak?

Rebecca blacked out when she heard that, and was lucky to hold onto Pops’ arm just in time.

There was probably no one else in the world who pretended to play B naturally and shockingly well, except for her captain, Leon Casmode.

“So Master have you gotten any intel on your side?” Leon asked.

“Ah, we’ve also inquired about some new leads here, as well as made some analysis.”

    Tag pontificated.

“After you left, the Empire was also in hot pursuit of Rebecca and I, but that intense pursuit only lasted about a month.”

“After a month, the Empire then put more manpower and resources into the Dragon Slaying Army, and the battles against the Dragons became more frequent.”

“And from what Martin has poked around in the imperial family, the Dragonslayer Army has not launched any more attacks on the Silver Dragon Clan that you are in, they should be afraid of your strength, after all, the matter of killing Constantine is basically something that everyone talks about in the imperial family.”

“But even so, Leon, you and the Silver Dragon King should not be taken lightly. The fact that they went so far as to send Constantine to invade the Silver Dragon Clan in the first place shows that their determination to get rid of you is very strong.”

“Maybe the current Dragon Slayers are just pretending to feint at the other dragons, when the real purpose is still you, understand.”

    Leon nodded, “I understand, Master.”

“Hm. Then, what follows is some speculations that Rebecca and I have made following the clues we’ve gathered over the past three months, which have nothing to do with the Dragon Race, but should also involve some behind-the-scenes aspects of the Imperial Royal Family.”

    Tiger said.

“Do you remember when the last king died?”

Leon was stunned, not expecting his master to suddenly ask such a question, but he still recalled it and said in a whirlwind, “Thirty-odd years ago, I think, it was written about in the textbooks of the Dragonslayer Academy and in the biographies of some characters.”

“Yes, thirty years ago. A while back Rebecca and I went through all the newspapers, information, and accounts from around the time of the last king’s death and came up with something very strange.”

Leon lowered his eyebrows, “What’s so strange?”

“In all the records of the king’s death, there is no picture of his body.”

Tag’s tone was gruff, and his intonation accelerated slightly.

“When the king died, the nation was supposed to look up to the great leader, yet at the time of the funeral, the king’s tubes were sealed so tight that not even some of his close associates, not to mention the commoners, were not able to get a glimpse of the king.”

“In addition to that, Rebecca and I collected some newspapers from other years and were surprised to find that not only the last king, but also many members of the royal family, as well as ministers, had their lives recorded only in [text] in any carrier at the time of their deaths, and that photographs of the funeral scene had not captured their bodies.”

“If this was done to protect the privacy of the royal family from being revealed to the masses, what is the explanation for the fact that every king prior to this one died, yet photos of their bodies could be seen through the news carriers of the time?”
