and the steady breathing of Lois Visser.

He was mentally mulling over what he would have to report to his Master tomorrow.

Presumably it’s just that Constantine is not the only Dragon King working with the Empire, and the person who might know the identities of a few others is someone close to Constantine.

In a while, after the turmoil within the Red Inferno Dragon Clan had calmed down, Leon was going to start investigating this close friend.

There wasn’t a lot of information, mostly tied up in bars and unknown power struggles, and when the winds passed, Leon would have to speed up his investigation as well.

With that thought, sleepiness came over him, and within a short time, Leon too was in dreamland.

There was no talk all night.

The next day, after instructing the maids to take care of Mune and Kouki, the couple traveled to the border junction between the dragon race and human territory.

On the way, Lois Visser suddenly asked, “Are you nervous?”

The air whistled past his ears, ruffling Leon’s forehead hair as he lowered his head and looked at the silver dragon beneath him, “Nervous? You mean?”

Rothweather pondered for a few moments before continuing back, “Three months should be a long time for you humans, right? Anything could happen during that time, if your master he doesn’t make it to his appointment on time ……”

Leon was slightly stunned and raised a hand to scratch the corner of his forehead.

He didn’t think that Losweather was crowing, she was just considering a worse case scenario.

After a moment’s reflection, Leon said, “I do trust my Master and Rebecca enough to come to the appointment.”

“Well …… that’s good.” The Queen’s tone sounded a little distracted.

Leon noted this keenly, sensing that Los Vespers might be trying to convey something else as well by suddenly bringing it up.

He thought carefully about what Losweather had just said, ‘If you don’t show up for your appointment on time after three months’.

Blinking, the dragonslaying hero came to a realization.

He smiled and patted the scales on Losvesser’s back, “Eh, Mother Dragon, at that time, after separating from me, we made an appointment to see each other once every three months as well, and you actually considered this at that time, didn’t you?”

The rhythm of the high-speed flight was suddenly wrong by a beat, and Leon almost didn’t sit still.

And beneath her, the Silver Dragon Queen was reticent and focused on flight.

Looks like he guessed right, Leon thought to himself.

“So if I didn’t leave the Empire after dealing with the mole, and three months later you traveled to the caves to find me as promised, only to find that I failed to make the appointment, what would …… you do?” Leon asked with interest.

He really wanted to know how much the hard-mouthed, dead proud she-dragon really cared about him.

“What, what to do? You love to go or not at that time, go and we’ll chat and talk about our daughter; if you don’t go …… I’ll…I’ll ……”

    “You’ll?”

“I’ll just go home and take Noah and Moon to your funeral.”

“I don’t believe you, you’re talking about gas.”
