    Chapter Index

Ri was similar in nature to the Valley of Flowing Clouds, and did not do business with the ordinary dragon tribe’s subjects, and those who could come here were all of the King’s Duke variety.

Noa and Moune plunged headlong into the shallow water with their swimmers in their arms; the couple hadn’t let them take Kouki with them.

Normally it’s okay to go out together at home, but the beach can’t be so casual.

Despite having lifeguards on standby, the two couples couldn’t let Kouki out of their sight.

Under large umbrellas, Leon and Lois Visser reclined in beach chairs with two cool, cold drinks on a small table in the center.

Kou sat on his dad’s stomach and waved his little pink fists around, wondering what he was going to do.

Thinking she was thirsty, Leon handed over the cold drink.

    Kou didn’t ask for it.

Again, Leon thought she was hot, so he passed the little fan over to fan her.

Kou didn’t ask for it either.

Leon sat up and looked at his youngest daughter, “What is it that you want?”

And just as Leon came up for air, Kou’s pink fist rose once more and shone a standard uppercut at Pops’ chin.

Before Leon could respond, he heard a giggle from beside him.

Turning her head to look, Lois Visser lay back in her beach chair, laughing until she covered her stomach.

The corner of Leon’s eye twitched slightly, “What’s, what’s so funny ……”

The Queen managed a look, turned on her side, one hand slightly clenched in a fist, propped up her delicate face, her beautiful eyes looking back at Leon, the

“There are only a handful of dragons in this world that can give you an uppercut and then remain unharmed, Kou is one of them, and what do you have to say about that?”

“It’s just a necessary part of becoming a little cotton-paddler, and who hasn’t rebelled as a child, right?”

Still gorgeous, Leon picked up his little girl, her little pink tail dangling down and wagging.

Kou blinked his nice big eyes at Pops and stammered out unintelligible baby talk.

“Speaking of which, how long before Kou can talk?” Leon asked.

Losweather counted the days and returned, “Another month or so, or if it’s faster, half a month or so?”

Leon nodded thoughtfully and patted Kou gently on the head, “Do you think she’ll call her daddy or mommy first once she can talk?”

“You don’t have to ask? It’s a biological instinct for a cub to call its mother the first thing that comes out of its mouth. I’d advise you not to argue with me on this matter, Leon, you don’t stand a chance.”

Leon bristled, “That’s not necessarily true, Kou is a human-dragon hybrid, hybrids always have something special.”

The Queen spreads her hands, “Special in the sense that the first thing that comes out of her mouth is called Daddy? Doesn’t make sense.”

“Gee whiz, we’ll see then, Kou will definitely call Dad first in the future.”

Loseweather snorted, not bothering to argue with him.

She rolled over and pulled two tubes of sunscreen out of her purse and

“Come help me with the sunscreen.”
