    Chapter Index

The concepts of “home” and “family” are strong in Moune, which suggests that they keep the family together well.

But why did Lossweather not only show no relief, but even some …… resistance?

She wasn’t like this a while ago.

Women are so hard to understand, Leon sighed inwardly, even after being a ‘couple’ for so long, he couldn’t figure out why on earth Losweather was like this at all.

There was no way to understand what was going on, there was no use in Leon rambling on here on his own, he’d just have to wait until she wanted to talk about it.

After dinner was over, Noah Munn went to his room and his little sister was taken by his mom and dad tonight.

The couple stood side by side in the kitchen washing dinner plates, as they always did.

The two hadn’t exchanged a word the entire time, but the movements of their hands were in perfect sync.

After scraping the stains off the last dinner plate, Leon handed it over to Loseweather, whose side of the sink took care of the rinsing.

Yet instead of taking the dinner plate as she had done a moment before, Lossweather stood there silently, as if she were torn about something.

Leon held up his dinner plate awkwardly and cocked his head, “What’s wrong?”

Loseweather closed her eyes and let out a long breath, as if she had finally made some important decision, and

“Leon, go …… and play with your daughters for a while.”

    Leon didn’t get it, “What?”

“I say go play with your daughters for a while, play hide and seek, teach magic, learn, or…hug them.”

The more Leon listened, the more confused he became.

But didn’t ask any more questions, maybe Loseweather wanted to be left alone for a while before she used the interface of spending time with her daughter to sidetrack him.

Leon set his dinner plate down by the sink, removed his apron, dried his hands, and then left the room.

In the evening, the sun was setting fast, and the light in the kitchen was getting dimmer and dimmer, which also made the back of the silver-haired beauty more and more silent and lonely.

    “Snap-snap-snap.”

Droplets of water fell rhythmically from the faucet and crashed into the pool, splashing away.

Slowly, Loseweather turned her eyes sideways to the apron Leon had just taken off.

A blue household apron of no particular design.

But he’d been wearing it for ages and ages, and the yellowing marks on the apron were proof of that.

She looked down at the one she was wearing again, it was the same pink color.

And when was this bought ……

    I don’t remember.

Has she spent so much time with Leon …….

More than a year was but a blink of an eye for the long lifespan of the dragon race.
