    Chapter Index

She whispered the man’s name, the

    “Leon ……”

He answered and walked over to Losweather’s bedside, still looking at her with a serious expression.

“There’s nothing I can do…Leon, there’s nothing I can do ……” she looked at the former arch-enemy in front of her, her silver eyes filled with helplessness.

Leon didn’t say anything, but Lois Visser could see his answer in his eyes.

She closed her eyes as a line of hot tears slipped from the corners of her eyes and stained the pillow, “You know where I put your things, the key is in the second drawer.”

Leon nodded and opened a drawer from which he removed a key.

He then walked around the crowd and over to Noa and Moune, half crouching down.

He squeezed Moune’s cold little hand before looking at Noah.

Father and daughter looked at each other as if they had a thousand words to tell each other.

But in the end, Leon simply said, “Protect your sister and mom, you can do it.”

“Daddy …… you, you’ll come back, won’t you?” Noa asked shakily.

“Well I’ll be back, didn’t we have a date to go to the beach together.”

He patted Noah on the head and, without further ado, stood up and headed for the door.

“Leon! …Leon ……” came the feeble voice of Loseweather.

Leon stopped in the doorway, half turned back, and responded in a hushed voice that

“I know, leave it to me.”

With one word and without further ado, Leon opened the door to his room and rushed out of the sanctuary at a quick pace.

He made his way to Los Vesper’s hidden warehouse, unlocked the door with a key, walked down the steps, and took a step to the innermost part.

He found a wooden crate there and opened it up to reveal a black suit of armor.

As if reunited with an old friend, Leon reached out and brushed his fingertips across the breastplate of the black and gold chariot.

“Old friend, go crazy with me one more time.”

It’s not often that the Dragon King is personally present on the battlefield.

And there were only two situations that could make the Dragon King himself go to war:

Either the battle must be taken and won, or the opposing side’s Dragon King class warriors have already made their debut.

Anna couldn’t figure out what necessity the Red Inferno Dragon Clan had to seize the Silver Dragon’s territory, and how the two great dragon clans, who had no grievances for thousands of years, suddenly attacked.

She was pressed to the ground by Constantine’s dragon claws, dying as the dragon’s blood was about to run out.

I don’t know whether His Majesty has successfully evacuated, whether the two Princesses are safe, and whether the Prince-sama, who doesn’t seem to have much combat power, can take care of his wife and children.

Anna’s body was on the verge of collapse, and she knew she couldn’t take any more of Constantine’s lower
