Chapter 0289-Shut Up Dragon I Don’t Want to Have Kids With You Anymore
by Milkshake-Tail-chan(奶昔尾尾酱)… Too embarrassed to express your concern for me directly, so you’re using the baby as a shield?”
After learning from her sister Isha about the oath Leon had sworn, Lois Visser had finally caught a way to poke him in the heart.
It wasn’t clear if that was what he meant or if he said it just to put Isha on the spot, but it was effective to take that and put Leon’s heart to death.
As expected, a flat a from Loseweather tricked Leon’s flash:
“I care about you? The only thing I care about you is when you’ll give up the Silver Dragon King’s seat to me, so that the entire Silver Dragon Sanctuary will be mine, Leon Kasmode.”
Loseweather knew that these borderline oily words were not what Leon meant.
What was really going on in his mind, however, was not clear to Loseweather.
But …… is fine.
Tonight she was going to try out the 2:30 Truth or Dare session that she hadn’t played in a while.
“And?” Now Losweather was willing to go along with his gag.
That’s what cohabitation is all about, a room where each is the only person the other can talk to.
And listening to Leon’s words, true or false, was the only way for Los Viceroy to relax after this boring and tedious work.
“And then? And then I’ll have you–“
Leon was going to say “Then you can offer all your Silver Dragon soldiers to the Empire as second class or first class or whatever, and you’ll have nothing to worry about from now on”.
But then he realized, with a jolt, that this statement might cause a bit of a mood swing in Los Viceroy.
It’s not easy to tell the temper of a pregnant female dragon.
She also hadn’t eaten the Jade Dew Dragon Fruit that she had managed to get back from Sky City a few days ago, so this emotion might come up all of a sudden.
So, the words came out, and they became.
“And then I’ll do all your work so that you, the workaholic, will have nothing to do but retire in peace.”
He couldn’t say anything meaty and sweet to Los Vespers, thought he.
The Queen sniffed and hummed softly, “Alright, I’m still a few hundred years away from retirement, so you can come back and share the work for me then.”
“I’ll crawl out of my grave in a couple hundred years to help you share the work?”
“It’s okay, I’ll find a wizard and resurrect your physical body as a puppet that only works. How about it, husband, am I sweet?”
Leon grinned furtively and gritted his teeth, “You’re so sweet, wife.”
Loseweather smiled and turned to immediately retrieve her thoughts and breathed a sigh of relief as she looked down at the piles of work reports and papers on her desk.
Leon is right, the work is never done.
Let’s call it a night.
After all, she’d have to stay up until two-thirty when she went to bed later, and the cup of coffee on the table was for that.
Lois Visser removed her barrette and loosened her ponytail, her silver hair sparse and falling like a waterfall to her waist.
She stood up and turned off the desk lamp, “Let’s go, off to bed.”
Leon’s heart rejoiced, finally, the workaholic was going to take a break, and when she fell asleep, she could begin the fetal program!
The couple got under the covers from either side of the bed, left and right.
