Chapter 0287-Shut Up Dragon I Don’t Want to Have Kids With You Anymore
by Milkshake-Tail-chan(奶昔尾尾酱)Born a warlike race now, even humans, intelligent dangerous species and even Slimes have internal struggles.
Any resources in this world are limited, but the desires of intelligent beings are unlimited.
With unlimited desires, limited resources become more and more precious.
Straddling the line between the two is a fragile string.
When desires and resources are out of balance, this string breaks.
And the war came as it should.
Leon rarely thought about the meaning of war when he was young.
Master once said that the world is a huge and sophisticated machine, and you and I are nothing more than screws in that machine – oh boy you might be the equivalent of two screws, after all you’re pretty good at slaying dragons.
But even then, all you have to do is what a screw should do.
As to how this machine runs, how the electricity is supplied, and how the gears snap together, it’s not something you should be thinking about.
And even if you do think about something, can you change anything?
You can’t.
So do yourself a favor and be a good screw and slay your dragons.
As far as I could remember, this was the first time the Master had ever riddled someone so much with Leon.
What was said was also rainy and confusing.
And as Leon tried to take a moment to reflect on his Master’s words, orders came from above:
Leon, shark this Dragon King;
Leon, do away with that Dragon King;
Balabala.
During the time he spent crusading against various dragon kings, Leon was also vaguely able to get the shallow meaning of what his master was talking about:
He was a brick in the Empire, moving wherever he was needed.
Hiss–
Why are you thinking about this?
Leon tsked lightly.
It was better not to think about it, but the thought made Leon’s stomach turn.
Dude was dedicated to the empire in the first place, killed more dragons than you guys ate donkeys, how can he be backstabbed by a tnnd mole?
Is it possible that I’m working too efficiently as a screw and overloading your machine?
Lean.
Joke.
Leon closed his eyes and breathed a sigh of relief.
Losweather detected a slight change in Leon’s mood.
The change doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the social death just now.
“What’s wrong?” Loseweather asked.
Leon rubbed the tip of his nose, “It’s fine.”
Without explaining anything more, he turned his head to look out the window.
And Loseweather didn’t press the issue any further.
