    Chapter Index

    “Wow, that’s not bad.”

Leon’s answer was indeed very smooth, perfectly avoiding the minefield of Isha taking advantage of the situation and torturing them.

Seeing that Isha was no longer pursuing the matter, Leon was secretly relieved, and then he looked at Losweather beside him.

Leon: See? Against dragons, I’m a pro!

LOSWITHER: Heh, don’t get too happy.

“I thought you guys didn’t tell me on purpose.” Isha said.

“How can that be, sis, we were just discussing whether to go to your house and tell you or write you a letter.” Leon made it sound like they were actually planning to tell Isha about the pregnancy.

In fact, when they discussed it at the beginning, the two of them agreed not to talk to Isha about it for the time being.

There were already few dragons carrying twins, and even fewer carrying a second child.

If this was known by her sister, then the entire Melkweed family would never have peace for the next ten years.

Leon even suspected that Isha would use some forbidden magic to throw Melkweed’s old ancestors out of their graves and then resurrect them one by one before informing them:

Xiao Luo and her husband have honored our family with three children in three years of marriage, and there are still hundreds of years to come, I can’t tell.

The couple knows though that paper can’t hold fire and that sooner or later the fact that they are pregnant with their second child will be known to their sister.

But what they did not expect is that this day will come so fast and so …… strange.

Hey, it was just as well to know, then Leon would have to hurry up and stabilize Isha’s mind and not let her play up.

So far, it seemed that some of his routines and words were working well.

But Leon had obviously overlooked one thing:

The reason Isha had just made a special effort to dress up in disguise and go to that fun contest or whatever it was, for more than just asking a question about how long to carry a second child.

“So it does seem like you’re making good on the promise you made to me in the first place.” Isha said.

    “Promises?” Losweather blinked, “What promises?”

    “Hmm? Didn’t Leon tell you?”

Isha guffawed, her eyes going to Leon.

This time, it was Leon’s turn to sweat.

He fought the urge to give Isha a look that meant “Don’t say it, don’t say it, don’t say it.”

But as the saying goes, if it’s not a family, it’s not a family.

Roseweather wouldn’t miss an opportunity to torture Leon, let alone her sister, who was even darker than she was.

Lossweather glanced at the Dragon Slayer who was sitting on pins and needles beside her, Owwwwww, judging from that reaction, you must not have been able to tell me to my face about the promise you made to my sister at that time, right?

It’s not too mushy, is it?

It wouldn’t tarnish your image as a righteous, sit-down dragonslayer, would it?

No way, no way, no way, no way?
