    Chapter Index

Thinking about the first time she confirmed her pregnancy was quite a mixed bag of emotions.

    Panic, anxiety, resentment and anger.

Feeling the emotions of this moment again, although there is also some remorse, but more, or the joy and relief of the imminent arrival of a new life.

Contemplating for a little while, the Queen whispered, “I wonder who this little one will look like when he is born.”

Leon had a good ear and immediately interjected, “That must be more like me.”

It was as if fighting Los Vespers had become his muscle memory.

Of course, this is true for Los Vespers as well.

Loseweather was stunned and looked at him sideways, “Dragon Slayer, where do you get your confidence?”

“Noah and Moon gave me confidence.” Leon justified.

Loseweather sneered, “What confidence do two daughters give you? They clearly look more like me.”

Leon spread his hands and began to lay out the evidence, “I’ve seen pictures of you as a child at your sister’s house, and they clearly look more like me than they do you.”

Loseweather raised an eyebrow, her mind twitching slightly, then calmly returned, “But they have tails.”

“Noa’s native element is thunder, just like mine.”

Lois Visser repeated nonchalantly, “You’re right, but they have tails.”

“…… Their hair color is predominantly black, which is like me, always right?”

    “Uh-huh, but they have tails.”

Leon breaks down, “Can we stop talking about tails?”

The Queen shook her head and smiled, “I can’t.”

The tail is the most obvious difference between humans and dragons.

As long as Roseweather holds on to this point, then no matter what evidence Leon presents, it will not be able to overturn the “tail” of this mountain.

Exasperated, the dragonslayer sprang to his feet, pointed to the small of Lois Visser’s back, and said, with a resounding

“Baby, no tails after you’re born, you hear me!”

131 Winning at the starting line

The fact that Roseweather was pregnant had not been told to Anna and the others for a while.

Because doing the math, it’s only been less than two months since I was conceived.

If the dragons chose to reproduce their offspring by means of foetal birth, then the period from conception to delivery would be the same as that of human beings, which is about ten months.

The pregnancy was in October and the fetus was showing in April, so Lois Visser wanted to wait a while before speaking to a few of her minders about it.

Speaking too soon might distract them from serving His Majesty, which in turn would somewhat delay the normal work of the Silver Dragon Sanctuary.

It was well known that the Silver Dragon Queen was a workaholic, and that wouldn’t change even if she was pregnant.

Anyway, in pre-pregnancy, if you go to work at a normal intensity, it won’t have any effect on the fetus.

But the couple did plan to wait until Noa came home from vacation in a couple of days to tell their two daughters that they would soon have a new sister or brother.
