    Chapter Index

From the distant woods straight up into the sky.

Loseweather looked in the direction of the glow.

    “Is that …… thunderbolt?”

Dazzling blue light was reflected in the Silver Dragon Queen’s eyes, and under her gaze, that light gradually converged, peeled off, reorganized, and finally even took the form of thunder and lightning to form a short sentence in the night sky:

    Happy Birthday, Roseweather.

One minute before the end of the day of her two hundred and eighteenth birthday, Leon Casmode wrote this blessing for her in the sky.

    Unique and fleeting.

Turns out he was standing on his balcony looking out the other day, was he picking the right angle ……

This guy …… counts his heart.

Lightning can’t last long, not even with magic.

So this “Happy Birthday” composed of thunder and lightening only existed for less than five seconds before fading into the night sky.

    But this, this is enough.

“There is only a fleeting thing-” Lois Visser read softly.

Leon spoke the second half of the sentence for her, “It’s what makes it worth remembering.”

She looked sideways, “Anna told you?”

“What Noa said. I know, from your reaction, that you’re satisfied.” Leon said.

Losweather didn’t mouth off any more as she nodded, “Well, it’s very satisfying. I didn’t realize you were so good at birthdays.”

    “That’s for sure.”

    “Oh? How?”

Leon puffed out his chest proudly, “I’ve skillfully organized my family’s donkey’s birthday every time he’s had one.”

If it wasn’t for the sake of that thunderbolt blessing just now, Losweather would have kicked him off the balcony by now.

    122. – It’s gonna cost you more.

The following morning, Moune had been studying for over an hour, so Leon took her for a walk in the back garden of the Sanctuary to take a break.

Father and daughter sat on a bench in the shade and talked about what they had just learned.

Not far away, several dragon maids were chatting there, each of them holding a cupcake in their hands.

Because the size of the birthday cake that Leon had prepared for Lois Visser yesterday was just too much, the two of them alone plus Mourne wouldn’t be able to finish it even if they were late for next week.

So when this morning came around, Lois Visser arranged for Anna to cut the cake into small pieces and distribute them to the maids.

But even then, there was still a lot of cake left over.

Lois Visser says Leon you are spreading yourself thin.
