    Chapter Index

    ….. Leon marveled slightly inside.

Retracting his thoughts, Leon flipped through the book in front of him and

“Moune, let’s take a brief look at another way magic is used today – spells.”

Moune stared with nice big eyes and listened attentively.

“There are a thousand different kinds of magic in this world, and there are naturally many different ways to utilize it, and a spell formation is one of them.”

Leon explained in detail, “The function of a spell formation is to assist the user in achieving a certain spell casting purpose more easily. For example, if a certain user’s magical explosive power is insufficient, he can achieve the effect he wants by building up a certain amount of magical power in a spell formation and releasing it in one final breath.”

“Of course, this is the most basic way to utilize it. The more proficient you are with magic, the more abilities the spell has, and the more help it provides to the user.”

“Well …… let’s take an example. For example, Moon likes fried steak, right?”

As soon as this was mentioned, that Mune wasn’t sleepy anymore, nodding his head repeatedly, and the dull hairs on top of his head stood up with excitement.

Even Noa, who was on the other side of the table, couldn’t help but put down her book and look up at Leon when she heard the word “steak”.

It wasn’t that she was interested in steak, she just wanted to know how Dad would connect steak to the phalanx.

“To make a great steak, it can be roughly divided into two steps: one, find a cow; two, process that cow, right?”

    Mourne nodded.

“So the ‘processing’ step, if you refine it there are many more troublesome procedures, wouldn’t Moune want to skip all these tedious procedures and just eat a delicious steak?”

    “Yes yes yes!”

“So, we might as well design a spell like this, incorporating cutting magic and flame magic, so that all you have to do is push a cow in, and by the time it comes out, it’ll be a pot of steak.”

For a moment, Noah didn’t know how to describe his dad’s analogy.

She couldn’t say that it was nonsense, because the kind of practice Leon had mentioned was indeed achievable.

It’s just that no one is going to waste the magic and time to make a spell that specializes in producing steaks – it’s okay to figure it out once in a while.

After thinking about it, though, Noa also understood the reason why Leon had used that strange analogy.

When he was tutoring Noa before she started school, Leon was serious throughout and used very efficient study methods and techniques.

Because Leon knew that this kind of teaching style was suitable for Noa, and the facts also proved that Leon’s approach was not wrong, as he allowed Noa to reach a level where she could pass the entrance test of St. Heath’s College in just one month.

    And what about Mourne.

She couldn’t be serious for a spunky little dragon lady.

Leon naturally didn’t take her in that direction.

Turning to a method more familiar and interesting to Moune, which is frying steaks.

Looking at the way her sister was listening extremely attentively, Noa knew that her dad didn’t usually use this trick when teaching her.

Well, sure enough, she has the best, most good father in the world with his daughter.

Noa pursed her lips and lowered her head, continuing to look at her book.
