    , unimpressed.

After all, it hasn’t been the case since the beginning of time that the captive gives the victor a birthday present, has it?

“But since you’re not sending a gift …… you should at least show something else, right?” Loseweather asked again.

    Leon blinked, “What… indicates?”

Loseweather pretended to think, then had a flash of insight, “You could …… fuck my birthday this year.”

Leon was stunned and pointed to the tip of his nose, “Huh? Me?”

    Loseweather nodded.

“With so many people in your Silver Dragon Sanctuary and yourself being the Queen, surely a bunch of people are lining up to celebrate your birthday, do you still need me to organize it for you?”

    He resisted.

This suggests that the whole birthday thing would be a hassle and make him feel uncomfortable.

    Good.

As long as you’re uncomfortable, then I’m comfortable.

The Silver Dragon Queen thought as she did.

    “Why don’t you use it?”

Lois Visser put down the plate she was holding, pinched herself, and turned sideways to Leon, the

“Last year when you had your birthday you were still in a coma, and the kids were small and clamoring for daddy to wake up, and the birthday was no fun at all. This year you woke up, so why don’t you make it up to us?”

    “Eh you-“

Loseweather interrupted Leon’s chanting pre-shake and perked up, “Besides, on the bright side, isn’t it normal for a model husband of a family to give his wife a birthday? You don’t want people to think we’re not in a relationship, do you?”

“……” Leon was speechless, but he mulled over Loseweather’s remark and caught the key word – in a good way.

So he asked curiously, “And to put it in an unpleasant way?”

“To put it bluntly, who are you, a captive, to bargain with me? You’ll do whatever I tell you to do.”

    Okay, right flavor.

Leon then said why did that big string in front of him sound pathetic and not at all like something she, Los Viceroy, could say.

Until this last sentence, a familiar recipe for a familiar captive.

Looking at Leon, Los Visser was satisfied in her heart.

After a few quiet days, I finally got the chance to toss him again.

Leon sighed and nodded, “Fine, make it up to you guys.”

If Losweather hadn’t mentioned her daughters earlier, Leon might not have necessarily agreed with her so simply.

But now that she’s moved to this argument, Leon has to consider his daughters’ feelings, if not for her.

Noa had just written in her essay about how her mom and dad’s relationship was so genuine, and how she believed they were a couple who loved each other.

How could Leon let his daughter down.

    But!

Not letting her daughter down is one thing, as to whether or not she’ll listen to Lois Visser and honestly give her a birthday, that’s a whole other thing.
