    Chapter Index

Leon shook his head and stopped rambling.

“That pen Noah gave you, you put it away?” Leon searched for a topic of conversation.

“Well, what, regret wanting to go back?” Loseweather teased.

Leon snorted a little, “I’m as careful as you are? Not to mention you heard your daughter say that she listened to her father and gave her gift to her mother.”

Leon came up next to Losweather and repeated proudly, “It’s listening to daddy oh~”

Loseweather lifted her water-soaked hand and flicked some droplets of water into Leon’s face.

Leon subconsciously shrank back and wiped his face carelessly, “Look at you, it’s not wrong to say you’re being careful.”

Losweather glanced at him, “Idiot, get to work.”

    “But speaking of gifts ……”

Leon counted the days, “It’s your birthday next Tuesday, right?”

On their last date they met a soothsayer named Av, and the first round of horoscopes was counted, and that’s when Loseweather said her birthday was October 25th.

It wasn’t that Leon brought it up at the moment that he cared much about Los Viceroy’s birthday.

He just wanted to make sure, lest the whole Silver Dragon Sanctuary was busy on his birthday and he, as the Queen’s ‘husband’, knew nothing about it, which would be detrimental to the maintenance of their false family.

    Lois Visser’s mind moved slightly.

Next Tuesday is indeed the day she was born.

    But not “birthday”.

Dragons spend their birthdays a little less like their human counterparts.

Because the life span of the dragon race is too long, if they celebrate their birthday once a year, they will have to do it almost hundreds or thousands of times in their lifetime, and they are all tired of it.

    So the dragons are crossing once a year until they reach adulthood;

And as an adult, it passes every ten years.

Incidentally, the prescribed adulthood of the dragons is also not eighteen years old like humans, but twenty.

At the age of twenty, the dragons are physically fit, logically minded, and magically proficient enough to be fully prepared to begin a long life.

Lois Visser did a little math; she was two hundred and eighteen next Tuesday, two years before her next birthday.

She glanced at Leon and wasn’t about to tell him about the once-a-decade birthday thing.

Because she wanted …… to mess with his mind.

“Yeah, it’s my birthday, what’s up, want to get me a present?” Lois Visser asked.

“I’ll send you away, a thousand miles away, if that’s okay with you.”

“Gee whiz, dog man, don’t mention it without a gift.” Loseweather bristled.

    Leon shrugged.
