    Chapter Index

Families were whispering as everyone wondered if their child would be in the top three.

However, according to the class teacher’s practice, even if she didn’t make it into the top three, it didn’t matter, she could take her strengths and weaknesses based on the comments she made after the essay, and perfect her own young dragon’s writing level even more.

“Okay, so now, let me announce the essay contest, the third place winner of the Young Dragons Division’s first class is …… Kylie’s classmate, congratulations~”

The classroom teacher led the applause, and the young dragons and parents in the class followed suit.

“So, Kelly, would you like to read this essay aloud?” The homeroom teacher asked softly.

The young hatchling dragon named Kelly stood up, wearing a simple ponytail and a pair of round glasses, beside her was her mother, who was holding her daughter’s hand as if to encourage her.

While Kelly’s other hand squeezed the hem of her skirt a little nervously, and after a few moments of tussling, she shook her head coyly and whispered, “No, teacher.”

Kylie’s mom just smiled in relief at this, not in any way complaining that Kylie was too much of an introvert.

The homeroom teacher also smiled and rounded off the conversation, “Well, okay, don’t look at Kylie, she’s usually a bit introverted and quiet, but her essay is full of love for her mom. Come on, Kylie, take your essay back.”

Kelly took small steps to the podium and took her essay in both hands, “Thank you teacher.”

The homeroom teacher rubbed her little head.

Kelly clutched her essay to her chest and returned to her seat.

“So next up is the second place winner of the essay contest, his name is ……”

There were two spots left, and Leon’s trio couldn’t help but get nervous in anticipation.

They stared at the class teacher’s mouth, but judging from the shape of his mouth, the first word of the student’s name should not be “No”.

    “Congratulations, Mr. Rand~”

    Another round of applause.

Rand, a relatively cheerful young dragon, stepped up to the podium and read his essay aloud.

Leon applauded from under the podium while chanting with some concern, “Last one left ah ……”

He glanced sideways at his daughter beside him, and Noa also looked nervous, her small fists clenched tightly.

Leon thought for a moment and reached out to gently cover the back of his daughter’s hand.

He didn’t say anything, but Noa’s tense fists loosened considerably.

“Next, then, is the first place winner of this essay contest. ta is-“

The homeroom teacher trailed off as the room waited with bated breath.

Especially Lal’s dad, like he was dying to pry the classroom teacher’s mouth open to get her to say that name.
