    Chapter Index

It led to him having some energy left over, and with Leon having the dominance for a few days, he didn’t forget about it, still paying attention to the use of his stamina in a very disciplined manner.

So now even if the situation is calmed down, if Roseweather still wants to take Leon as casually as before, it won’t be so easy, more or less have to take a little bit of effort to be able to do it.

However, the reason why a top dragon slayer like Leon was able to win many battles and kill countless enemies on the battlefield was not just a matter of brute strength.

And then there’s the all-important “magic power”.

Leon’s magic attribute is “Thunder”, a highly offensive element that is extremely effective for both wide-area clearing of stragglers and single damage to the Dragon King.

But after awakening, Leon had also tried to mobilize his magic, but it was no longer at all as powerful as it had been before the coma.

    When he first refined the Dragon Power, it was the first time he had used his magic power to do something since he had awakened, and at that time, he had a vague feeling that his magical power was almost approaching a state of exhaustion;

Then later on, in that sparring session with Loseweather, the she-dragon greeted Leon with dragonflame and all sorts of magic, while Leon was forced to dodge, and simply didn’t have enough magic to return the favor.

In the heat of the moment, he had only used the few remaining Thunder Elements to strengthen himself, and only then did he barely manage to pull off a comeback.

But in the end, he lost to Loseweather.

It couldn’t be helped, even if the physical quality was strong, without the aid of magic to boost it, one simply couldn’t defeat a Dragon King level opponent.

After dinner, Leon sat in his nursery and kept thinking about magical powers.

He looked at his palm and tried to mobilize his magic.

A few electric lights flickered lazily twice.

It’s like a laborer who is called by his boss from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., who responds cheerfully with “I’m coming, I’m coming,” but actually has no intention of getting up and leaving the workstation.

Leon stared at the few remaining bolts of electricity with some difficulty.

“Be reasonable, you don’t have to flash if you don’t want to.”

    Too weak.

The strength of the magic power was not even a tenth of what it was before the coma.

And what are the reasons for this outcome?

    Leon mused.

Did Loseweather do something to his body while he was unconscious?

Leon thought for a moment and quickly dismissed the speculation.

Because if Loseweather really wanted to do something to him while he was unconscious, it would surely be more than simply suppressing his magical powers.

She could have done more things, like making him never return to his normal level of physical fitness, and even if he woke up, he would just be sickly, so where was the need to fight with him like she was doing now?

Moreover, when Leon mobilized his magic, what he felt was simply “depletion”, and there was no power to inhibit or seal his magic.
