    Chapter Index

There was no intention of prying into what kind of place he held in Leon’s mind, but the question stretched out and might have hooked into something more fierce.

So …… it’s all just about fishing, plus just plain curiosity.

    “Because…because …… I ……”

He was talking less and less, as if he was going to fall asleep the next second.

Loseweather’s curiosity was thoroughly piqued, and she couldn’t help but move over, afraid to miss his next words.

    However.

    “Hoo…hoo ……”

“No, what’s wrong with you? Tell me instead.”

Lois Visser gently nudged his shoulder.

Just see Leon grunt and glow.

Lossweather Duck sat on the bed, puffing her arms around her waist, and lifted her beautiful eyes to look.

    Two thirty-one.

It’s past 2:30 in the morning.

“Good boy, it’s two-thirty when he says it’s two-thirty, not a minute off.”

Loseweather said indignantly, “Next time I’ll just let you sleepwalk and see if you’ll be so lucky again.”

So…now that two-thirty has passed, Losweather’s purpose for the night has been served.

What next …… should I give this guy another late lesson after half a month while he is defenseless?

Loseweather thought as she brought her hand up to the side of his face.

Just as her fingertips were about to touch Leon, however, she stopped.

She remembered that the day Noa had passed the entrance test earlier, she’d been drunk at the celebratory dinner, and that had been a good time for Leon to take her down.

But he said that he didn’t want to take advantage of the situation, and that the Dragon Slayer was the one who would defeat the Dragon King in a dignified manner.

Loseweather’s pupils moved slightly as she chanted, “Hmph, and being groggy doesn’t do much good, it’s better to torture you when you’re awake.”

With that thought in mind, Losweather lifted the covers and gingerly got out of bed, glancing back at Leon one last time before leaving the nursery.

The next day, Leon awoke languidly, his eyes opening a slit and glancing at the wall clock, 7:15 AM.

Oh, it’s so early. Take a nap first–

    Hmm?

    So early?

    It’s not right!

Leon sat up with a jolt and looked over the edge of the bed and then at other places in the room that were suitable for lying down or propping up.

It’s very regimented, no signs of battle at all.

Based on the intensity with which he had turned in his homework in the past, the room should have been in shambles at this very moment.

But last night it seemed …… like nothing happened?

    Brilliant.
