    Chapter Index

Today, the Great Dragon Slayer is going to mutilate all of your dragons! —

    On the field, of course.

“Guys, your seats are over here.” The staff said.

The four mouths continued to make their way to their positions.

A professional dragon caretaker is assigned to every two families in the juvenile division’s viewing gallery, so that young dragons are not left unattended while parents and relatives enter the competition.

    That’s thoughtful on that point.

After the family of four was seated, Moune pointed to the runway below, his soft face full of amazement, “What a big venue.”

After about twenty minutes or so, the venue’s viewing gallery filled up.

Vice Principal Wilson sat on the podium, adjusted his microphone, coughed twice, and then announced, “St. Heath’s College’s first ever Family Parent-Child Games, now open!”

The Vice Chancellor gave the order and there was thunderous applause from the viewing gallery.

It’s worth noting that school sports around the world are almost identical in terms of process.

After the speeches it was time for the opening ceremony, with the class squads passing by the lectern one by one.

After the classes had finished their presentations, Vice Principal Wilson gave a brief speech to the effect that “Friendship comes first, competition comes second, and we hope that the students will cheer more.” The message was “Friendship first, competition second, I hope the students will cheer more.

At this point, the Games were officially underway.

The first event was straight into the family relay race, and it was no less than a fight.

Each family sends three dragons including current students to compete.

Since the Cocoon Dragon family only has a father or a mother, the school allows the Cocoon family to invite an immediate family member from their own clan to join the team.

This way the fun of the race is enhanced with more entries, and it also takes care of the few fetus dragon families so that they can participate in the full race as well.

“Relay running… we’ve been practicing that for the past two days.” Leon said.

“Well, but don’t take it lightly, I think I just saw that there are Electric Dragons in the families of young dragons competing.” Loseweather warned.

The Electric Dragon Clan and Lossweather’s Silver Dragon Clan both had their Speed Talent at full strength, so they really couldn’t be taken lightly and carelessly.

Leon nodded, placing Mourne in his arms on a chair, “Good, let’s go then.”

The specially equipped young dragon caretaker next to him also immediately came up and sat down next to Mourne.

Moon is a social cow, so he’s not afraid of strangers striking up a conversation with him.

She sat obediently in her chair and waved to her mom, dad, and sister, “Go for it~”

    “Okay!”

The trio made their way from the entryway by the spectator stands to the edge of the track below to briefly warm up for the race.

After getting their number plates, they started assigning the relay order.

“The relay run was a total of 3,000 meters, 1,000 meters each, and the family with the shortest time won.” Noah said.

“Are young dragons also 1000 meters?” Leon asked.
