    Chapter Index

Loseweather was tempted to say, “Don’t treat me like a child.”

But the words didn’t come out.

She enjoyed the tenderness with a touch of shyness and embarrassment, and coldly, out of the blue, ventured:

“Your …… heart is beating so fast.”

“I’m afraid of spiders too.” Leon replied back in seconds.

“Just for tonight, Leon, I won’t do anything like that with you in the future, so after tonight, let’s not even talk about it, either of us, okay.”

    “Good.”

In the end, the Silver Dragon Queen chose to “pretend that nothing happened”.

It was the first time she had broken her principles.

Still in front of a human.

It would be humiliating to tell …… ……

Exhausted and sleepy even after the two scares, Los Visser snuggled into Leon’s arms and fell into a deep sleep.

Accompanying her to sleep was the sound of the strong heartbeat.

    ……

When Los Vespers opened her eyes the next morning, Leon was no longer with her.

The comforter had gotten cold, indicating that he had been up for some time.

Loseweather sat up and rubbed her savehole, thinking that after all that happened last night, he was probably a bit overwhelmed as well.

If it had been Roseweather who had woken up first, she would have been just as likely to choose to go out for a walk and wander around first, and wait until there were bystanders, and the subtle awkwardness between her and Leon would have naturally dissolved.

Slightly sobered up, Loseweather lifted the covers, changed out of the mortifying lace nightgown, put on her own clothes, briefly washed up and headed out the door.

Just as she yawned and took a step, Losweather backed away.

She eyed ahead, using only her residual light to look at the man who had been waiting in the doorway for so long.

“Sis, coming to squat us so early.”

Isha leaned against the doorframe and wrapped her arms around her chest, “How was last night? Exciting?”

Lois Visser gave her sister a breathless blank look, “Exciting, very exciting.”

Two more spiders, and Loseweather was going to blow up her old sister’s lair.

At those words, Isha’s eyes lit up, “So did you use all those little props I prepared for you?”

Loseweather sighed, “Leon’s afraid of pain and we’re just…useless.”

“Why, that’s a shame. Why don’t you take a couple of them with you when you go home later? Go home and practice.”

Lossweather hurriedly held her sister’s wrist, “Sis, let’s not bother you with the two of us… what’s that, let’s go eat breakfast~”

Isha bristled and backhanded her sister’s hand, “Let’s go let’s go.”

The sisters arrived to use the dining room where Leon and the two little dragonesses were already here.

“Oh~ Auntie Mom is here~ You can eat~” Moune jumped off of Leon’s lap and ran around the table to her own seat across the room.

The men remained seated in the same positions as yesterday, Isha in the main seat, Leonorus Visser sitting
