    Chapter Index

Leon carefully let go of Losweather, then crawled over and crushed the spider up, then opened the window and threw it out.

When touching the spider, though, something seemed strange to Leon’s hand.

Not quite that furry touch ……

    To more like…rubber?

Wait, this isn’t part of my sister’s design, is it?

    Fine thoughts.

Leon didn’t think much of it and immediately closed the window.

“Okay, okay, no spiders this time.”

Loseweather pursed her lips, still a little backed up.

After a moment’s tussle, she said glumly, “I’ll sleep on the inside, you on the outside.”

“No problem, you can sleep anywhere you want.”

    “Well ……”

Losweather tucked in her tail and lay back under the covers.

But it’s still a bit of a shock.

    Leon lay back as well.

There was no way to change this psychological shadow, and even if the dragons lived longer, it wouldn’t be erased over time.

When she used to get scared by spiders, Los Vespers would go to Isha to comfort her.

But now that my sister isn’t around–

“You can…hold my hand if you’re still scared.”

The man beside him said in a deep voice.

Losweather was slightly stunned, then closed her eyes and took a deep breath in, then let it out slowly.

    “Bring it here.”

    Leon froze, “What?”

    “Hands.”

    “Ohhhhhhhh good.”

There was a stirring under the covers, and Leon slipped his hand through.

Loseweather brought her hand up as well.

But something …… doesn’t seem quite right?

Leon lifted the covers, raised his hand, and spat, “Where’s the security in this holding only a pinky?”

Loseweather’s cheeks flushed, “What’s it going to take to hold-“

    “Stupid, so
