    Chapter Index

    It’s not that I’m afraid!

One black and one white little Losvesser chattered endlessly over her shoulder, and Losvesser simply put her head right under the covers.

After a few minutes, the water stopped, followed by the waterbed quivering and a nice smell of shower gel burrowing into the covers.

It should be that guy climbing up.

It was only then that Loseweather poked her head out from under the covers.

She glanced sideways at Leon, thankfully the waterbed was large enough to put a large distance between him and herself.

That was probably the only thing Isha had missed in all her calculations.

She thought preparing an oversized waterbed would be enough for these two to make a fuss over.

But it just makes them better at drawing a line down the middle where no one can touch anyone.

The night grew thicker, and the entire Red Dragon Sanctuary fell silent.

The Injustice Seed couple rarely lay in a bed in a state of absolute wakefulness.

It was late at night, but the two men’s eyes remained glazed and bright, staring straight up at the ceiling.

Judging by the sound of their breathing, they both knew the other hadn’t fallen asleep.

But two hours had passed since they lay down.

Leon had a hunch that if this kept up, they wouldn’t be asleep for another two hours.

So he tried small talk to lighten the delicate atmosphere between the two, “Hello.”

    “What.”

    “Where’s your tail?”

    “What for?”

“Ask, I haven’t seen your tail since I was lying in bed earlier.”

“Tucked away.” Losweather said, “Dragons automatically put their tails away when they lie down or are asleep.”

Leon gave a thoughtful oh, and after a pause, asked, “And what if you forget? Will it press?”

Lois Visser gave him a breathless blank look, “Do you forget to breathe when you sleep?”

    “So ……”

    “Uh-huh.”

    End of science trivia topic.

The two of them lapsed back into a state of silence.

The room was quiet, so quiet that you could only hear each other’s breathing and heartbeats.

    Loseweather pulled the covers over her body;

But Leon didn’t dare get all the way under the covers, leaving a good portion of his side out.

Because the comforter was so warm, and a large portion of that warmth came from Losweather’s body heat.

Moreover, in such a private and narrow space as the comforter, a roll over could easily touch each other’s arms or other parts of the body.

Does Leon dare to move? Don’t dare move!

Next to her, Loseweather tried to sleep on her side.

But as soon as she made a move, the waterbed underneath her began to “gush” and make a slightly “yin dang” sound.

Unable to do anything about it, Loseweather had to give up the idea of rolling over and honestly lay flat.
