    Chapter Index

“Then thank you very much to this year’s model family for bringing us laughter, and please go down to rest, everyone.”

Leon nodded and walked off the podium, leading a still unrecovering Los Visser, with Noah close at his side.

The entrance ceremony went by the book.

About an hour or so later, the ceremony ended.

Noa is also about to start her academy life.

A family of four said goodbye at the college gates.

Moune told his sister much, much more, but there was only one central theme:

    Never think of Moune.

Noa, of course, would fulfill her sister’s every need.

The second goodbye was to Lois Visser.

She wasn’t very good at expressing anything, and just stroked Noa’s head and

    “Take care of yourself, Noah.”

    “Well, I will, Mom.”

When she finished speaking, Lois Visser pinched her face somewhat reluctantly before turning and stepping aside.

But it was with his back to them.

Finally, there was Leon, who walked up to Noa and half crouched down, his eyes level with Noa’s.

“I’m going to say something that might be a bit much, do you want to hear it?”

Noa nodded with an expressionless but serious face, “To listen.”

“Always remember to take your dirty clothes to your aunts in the living department regularly and they will wash them for you.”

“Eat breakfast on time, it’s okay to get up a little early or you’ll be hungry in the morning while you’re in class.”

“Don’t be picky about what you eat, you’re in a time of growth and all kinds of nutrition are important.”

“When you meet students with bad personalities, don’t mess with them and try to stay away.”

“And study and go to class, and if you run into a teacher you don’t like, or if you don’t like the way a particular teacher teaches, try to be patient and listen, and if you don’t understand something you can come and ask me about it when you go home for the holidays.”

“Above all, when you get sick you must go to the college doctor and never try to be brave.”

He does say a lot of things.

But Noa was listening and memorizing carefully.

Only, she still couldn’t help but glance towards Losweather’s back.

Compared to Leon, aren’t mom’s instructions a little …… too little.

Leon noticed Noa’s little gesture and smiled as he reached out and patted her on the head.

“Your mom told me all this the other day when she was drunk, she was too embarrassed to say it, so I did it for her. Noa, understand mom, she really isn’t very good at expressing her feelings.”

At those words, a trace of movement rarely appeared on Noa’s cold little face.

She bit her bottom lip and let out a hard “hmmm”.

“Well, as for what I want to say to you, it’s a lot simpler. Just be happy, don’t be stressed. Of course–“

Leon looked to his left and to his right, then mysteriously came up to Noa’s ear and whispered.
