    Chapter Index

What with enrolling at ten, graduating at fifteen, and champion dragonslayer blah blah blah, Leon was close to printing a banner and sticking it on the door of Los Vespers.

Mune poked his fork at the chunks of bread slathered with strawberry sauce on his dinner plate and asked thoughtfully, “Well …… when will Daddy be able to teach Mune how to study then?”

Lossweather smiled, dotingly looking at Mune, raising her hand to touch her little head, “Soon enough, when Mune grows up a little more, she can start learning from daddy oh.”

“Really?” Little Dragon Lady’s starry eyes popped out in excitement.

    “Well really.”

    “Good eh!”

“So, in order to grow up quickly, Mune has to eat well oh, eat your breakfast first.”

    “Yes!”

Moune immediately buried his head in dry rice.

Loseweather smiled in relief, thinking to herself that she hadn’t realized Leon’s babywearing routine worked so well.

After fixing breakfast, Losweather led Mourne by the hand to the courtyard.

Leon and Noah had continued to look up at the sky at forty-five degrees, waiting for the letter dragon.

Surely, this is the schoolboy’s obsession with grades? Too much perseverance.

Losvesser waved her hand and ordered the maids to prepare some tea and pastries.

A family of four ate and waited.

In this way, until the evening, there was still no sign of Shinryu.

Losweather sighed softly, “I’ll go make dinner, eat and then come back and wait.”

With that, she turned toward the sanctuary.

But before he could get more than a few steps out, he heard Leon call out behind him, and

    “Shinryu! Shinryu is here!”

Followed closely by Noa’s excited chorus, “It’s true! It’s really Shinryu!”

    Loseweather turned around.

Sure enough, a letter dragon was seen slowly flying towards the sanctuary and finally landing in the center of the courtyard.

    The four mouths rushed over.

A bamboo tube is tied to the back of Shinryu.

Leon removed the bamboo tube, unwrapped it, and poured out an envelope from it.

The envelopes were very elaborate, navy blue, with the surname “Melkwey” written in hot foil, sealed with red wax at the opening, and finished with the St. Heath’s College crest.

“Daddy tear it down!” Moune said impatiently.

Leon nodded, tearing off the red wax and opening the envelope.

The letter is concise and clear:

Dear Noah K. Melkwey, Congratulations on passing our institution.

Please report to us in three days for the entrance ceremony.

“Over and over and over! Sister is great! Mom and Dad are great too!”

Moune hugged Noa and twirled around happily.

Leon handed the letter paper to Loseweather, who read the letter twice before giving a relieved smile as well.

She put down the letterhead and took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly, glancing sideways at Lai
