Anna didn’t ask any more questions, just said that it wouldn’t come together until tomorrow.

After Anna left, Leon came in with breakfast, which was bread with boiled chicken breasts and a glass of water.

He tore off a small piece of bread and put it in his mouth, chewing it twice before swallowing it down.

As the bread was swallowed down his throat, however, a raw, irritating sensation came over him.

“Good morning.”

Still no epithet was added.

But Leon was used to it.

He let Noa inside.

With yesterday’s after-school homework cupped in her hand, the little iceberg dragoness followed Leon to his bedroom.

They took their seats as they had yesterday and Noah handed in the homework papers.

Leon took it and had just looked at it twice when he heard Noa say.

“That ……”

Leon put down his paper, “What’s wrong?”

“This one’s for you.”

With that, Noa pulled a box from her pocket ……

“Sugar?” Leon blinked and asked, “What kind of candy is it?”

“Lozenges.”

Leon froze, a little incredulous, “For me?”

“Well, Mom gave it to you, not me.”

Actually, Noa didn’t need to add “not me” after “from my mom”.
