Chapter 0050-Shut Up Dragon I Don’t Want to Have Kids With You Anymore
by Milkshake-Tail-chan(奶昔尾尾酱)“Well, that’s good, green and yellow are 70% of the difficulty, and there are only a couple of tougher chapters that you can’t read, right?”
Noa nodded.
“OK, these are just a simple compendium of our learning framework, it may not be that we really don’t understand the ones marked in red, and likewise, not all of the ones marked in yellow may be understood. So next I’ll focus on these chapters that you’ve marked yellow, and then we’ll identify the problems as we go along, okay?”
“Good.”
With a nod of his head, Leon began to explain to Noa the part where she marked yellow.
The class went by quickly, and three hours passed in the blink of an eye.
Leon scribbled and drew on the book, basically all the points here he took Noa through.
Then the next part is the practice makes perfect.
He found a copy of the test questions from previous years, “Let’s do the questions first, it’s more intuitive to check where we are still lacking.”
“Let’s Get Started”, “Our Deficiencies” ……
Noa noticed that Leon used that term a lot of the time to refer to him and himself together.
Rarely do I use “Did you get it?” or something rhetorical like that.
Noa wasn’t sure if he meant to or not, but the way it was worded, it did make it easy to follow his train of thought.
Noa shook her head, not thinking about anything other than these studies.
She took the paper, picked up a pen and started working on the questions.
The test questions were basically comprehension and simple questions that didn’t involve any number crunching, so Noa did them quickly.
She bit the end of her pencil and frowned as she patiently looked at each question.
It’s hard to imagine a one-year-old engaging in such focused thinking.
After arriving at the answer, Noa’s small face, which had little expression all day long, would still unconsciously smile.
But upon noticing that Leon was right next to her watching her, she would instantly revert back to her expressionless little self.
Rather cute.
This cuteness is different from Mourne; it’s more euphemistic and subtle.
Twenty minutes later, she handed Leon the roll.
Leon cross-referenced the answers and finally figured out Noa’s score.
“Out of 100, guess what you got?” Leon wanted to use this opportunity to ease the tense atmosphere of studying.
“Fifty?”
“62.”
“Oh.”
Leon put down the roll, “What, not satisfied?”
Noa pursed her lips, placed her small hands on her knees, and nodded silently.
“Well …… there’s nothing wrong with having high expectations and high standards for yourself, but you also have to know that normally, young dragons of your age wouldn’t even be exposed to test questions of this difficulty. What’s more, the average score of the test in the academy for the past ten years is only just around 80, its really hard.”
Leon put down the paper and smiled, “You got a 62 on your first try, that’s pretty impressive.”
