    ?”

    Leon nodded, “That’ll do.”

Loseweather grunted and snickered, “I didn’t realize you were quite attentive, how many women have you helped sort through clothes before?”

“I nailed the hooves of his donkeys on the master’s farm when I was a boy, and I am skilled at it.”

    “……”

“Daddy, what’s a donkey?” Moune asked with wide eyes as he tugged on Leon’s coat.

Leon looked down at the little dragoness, “Donkeys are similar to dragons, two ears and a tail, and they bray twice when they’re upset.”

    “Eh? Really?”

    “Really–“

“Come on Leon, play nice with Murn and don’t forget what I told you yesterday.”

Loseweather didn’t bother to listen to any more of Leon’s out-of-tune bullshit, and walked toward the door when she was done.

“Good bye mother-sama~ I’ll be good and listen to dad~”

    “Uh-huh.”

    Loseweather left the room.

Mourne couldn’t wait to pull Leon back into the bedroom, sit on the edge of the bed, and then climb into his lap.

Leon tried to hold her, but usually children were held on their backs or waists.

But Mourne had a tail growing on his lumbar vertebrae, and the genus had left him a bit clueless.

Solely it was just a matter of gently holding her back.

“Daddy, Daddy, what is a donkey anyway?”

“EMMM is a very stubborn creature.”

    “What does stubborn …… mean?”

    “Just like your mom.”

    “Oh~~~Mom’s a stubborn ass~”

The little dragoness was quite up to it and Leon was ecstatic, “That’s right, mommy’s a stubborn ass! Say that again, little mun.”

    “Mommy’s a stubborn ass!”

    “Uh-huh uh-huh yes yes.”

“Daddy’s a stubborn donkey too! Moune is the little stubborn donkey!”

    “…… Good girl, you’re a good example.”

    12 Dragon tattoo, activated!

After Losweather left, Leon briefly washed up and began to take Mourne around the room to pass the time.

Or teach her to read and recognize words, or continue to play Dragon Rider with her.

Only the house is a house, after all, and no amount of fancy play is as good as playing in the garden.

    Moune got bored quickly.

Leon wasn’t particularly good at coaxing small children either, so he simply had to tell Mourne stories.

Father and daughter leaned over the bed.

Mourne snuggled into Leon’s arms as Leon read to her from a copy of The Complete Book of Young Dragon Enlightenment Short Stories.
