    Chapter Index

Yes, Leon is going to run away.

Is it really necessary to wait in this dragon’s lair to be treated like Star’s Wrath by Loseweather if you don’t run away from the road?

As for the dragon tattoo that Loseweather had just left on his chest, it was true that he could no longer return to the Empire as ‘Leon Casmode Dragon Slayer’.

It would be the shame of his life as a dragonslayer.

Leon has to give up everything he had before, fame, status, income, etc., etc., etc., and live as a completely new person altogether.

That wasn’t too hard for Leon.

    Anyway, just get out.

Before officially escaping, Leon made some preparations.

    He rummaged around the house.

If Lois Visser had been keeping him in this room for the two years he’d been in a coma, then there would be some nutritional potions or something in here.

Leon’s body was still very weak right now, and if he didn’t bring along some potions to replenish his strength, he wouldn’t be able to run very far at all.

After a rummage, Leon found a whole box of nutrient potions in the compartment of his nightstand.

Then he raided the room for anything he could eat.

Finally, before he left, Leon had wanted to leave a jump-faced, mocking note for Loseweather.

    But thought better of it.

If she was accidentally caught and returned, Lois Visser would surely make a big deal out of the note and then proceed to humiliate Leon on a larger scale.

As for the little dragon man named Mourne ……

Consider the divorce awarded to the woman.

Leon definitely couldn’t take her with him when he escaped.

Even if Leon was willing, odds were that Mourne wouldn’t say yes, and might even rat on him to Loseweather.

After all, no matter what, the characteristics of the dragon race were still too obvious on that little guy’s body.

She’d definitely be more oriented towards Loseweather after being the one who’d been leading her for the past two years again.

But whether the escape is successful or not, attitude is paramount.

Leon packed the nutrient potion and food into his satchel, then slipped out of the room with a hoodie on.

He had expected someone to be manning the place, but there was no one to be seen in all directions in the corridor.

That gave Leon a good chance to escape.

He stayed close to the wall the whole way, pausing at every corner to observe what was on the other side.

    Very cautious.

But because he wasn’t too familiar with the routes inside the sanctuary, Leon turned around several times, delaying quite a bit before finally finding the right exit.

Another thing that surprised him was that he didn’t even see a single guard at the entrance to the sanctuary.

“How this Silver Dragon Sanctuary has the beauty of having been massively downsized ……”

But he clearly remembered that when he led the attack on the Silver Dragon Sanctuary two years ago, the sky was covered with all dragon guards.

And now it’s a little weirdly cold.
