Episode 231
75. My Goddess
1.
As soon as Limen appeared in front of me he hugged me tightly.
“I missed you.”
I coughed a few times at her sudden physical contact. Then I patted her back lightly and said.
“Now is not the time. Take those eyes out. They insulted my family.”
“You insulted your family? You deserve to die.”
“Is it possible?”
At my question Limen frowned slightly as if he was displeased.
“I am the Lord of the world so how can I not do something like that? I am an active member an active member.”
A distance that I could not narrow down.
But Limen simply snapped his fingers.
Paaaaat-.
A tremendous amount of divine power and aura emanated from Limen’s body.
Crackle.
The distorted space begins to split apart.
At first it was a gap the size of a grain of rice but Limen dug into it mercilessly.
The order of this place which had been very distorted has been corrected.
“He’s a bad guy. He’s infiltrating other people’s personal lives… Isn’t that right?”
Limen even destroyed his own statue.
A precious sight of a god destroying his own statue.
The statue that had been filled with distorted divine power was destroyed and the entity inside it finally revealed itself.
Hideously huge eyes.
The eyes of the guy looking at us shook greatly.

A voice that seemed to ask why.
It was not me who answered that question it was Limen.
“Siwoo is my representative. And the relationship between the two of us is much closer than you think. Well… if you’ve never met an apostle like this you probably wouldn’t understand.”
【Here. My world.】
“So what do you want me to do?”
If you look closely Limen’s personality has changed a lot.
An initiative that we could not even dream of in the past.
She recited the true name of that ‘eye’ in a soft voice.
“A hungry longing. If you lose a fierce fight and run away you shouldn’t even think about coming back. Where does that piece of trash look?”
The moment Limen spoke his true name the shape of his ‘eyes’ shook.
It was only for a moment but I think I saw the shape of a beast in those eyes.
bear.
A black bear to be exact.
Limen spoke to me with his gaze fixed on those ‘eyes’.
“Do you know what that guy was originally?”
“Well.”
“It was a bear. It was probably one that was worshipped and respected by humans.”
Divinity always arises from faith.
That guy probably wasn’t that twisted from the start.
But what on earth made that guy like that?
Limen spoke with a bitter expression as if he had read my doubts.
“There were also gods who went over to the Demon King’s side. Not all of the Shiu gods are good and perfect. However there is one thing that makes them different from mortals.”
She walks forward slowly.
A brilliant light gleams from Limen’s back.
The light quickly drove away the darkness that had covered the inside of the temple.
“The deviation of mortals cannot distort the world but the deviation of gods does. It is the price of betraying the immense responsibility bestowed upon them.”
The forgotten deities that I encountered when I saved CEO Choi and the gods who sided with the demon lords flashed before my eyes.
Those bastards who tried to survive by making their followers worse than dead.
I could fully understand the meaning behind Limen’s words.
She reached out and dispelled the powerful hallucination that had been hanging over her ‘eyes’.
Could it be that the shape of the ‘eye’ itself was a manipulation of reality?
Soon the guy’s true nature was revealed.
Black bear.
The guy’s appearance when he first became a divinity.
It must have been the pure appearance of that time.
【Another dimension. Cannot be absorbed.】
The bear spoke to Limen but Limen just smiled.

“I don’t think this is the time to worry about me… I’m not the one who’s going to kill you. Isn’t that right Siwoo?”
“Thank you Limen.”
Hurrruruk-.
A holy fire burns throughout my body.
It was a gray-colored torch not the usual pure white one.
I ran towards the bear with my body wrapped in fire.
The gap that had never been narrowed until now was narrowed in an instant.
And finally.
“It reached.”
My fist made contact with the guy’s body.
Hwaaaaaaaah.
The flames surrounding my body spread to the black bear and in an instant its entire body was engulfed in flames.
Kuuuuuuu!
A scream escaped the bear’s mouth. He swung his huge forepaw and struck me in the chest.
Pain that feels like a rib is being fractured.
But I grabbed the guy by the neck and raised the corners of my mouth in a bitter manner.
“Are you not used to pain? I am used to it.”
【Coexist with us. Can. I. Protect. You. From. Other. Brothers.】
Perhaps because he was cornered the guy’s speech became longer.
I thought it was an attractive offer but it sounded completely inaudible to me now.
“You expected me to just ignore that after you kicked my butt?”
Kuung.
The bear’s huge forepaw struck my head.
Blood flowed from my head staining my vision red and I could taste the pungent taste of blood at the corner of my mouth.
But I smiled even more deeply and put more strength into my hands. Then I looked into the guy’s yellow eyes and said.
“But you are a god after all. Don’t die so easily.”
After a while.
Wood thud thud-.
An eerie sound of bones crunching echoed throughout the temple.
2.
[Absorbs the damage.]
[Special ability <Gyeok> increases by 200.]
[The existence of the Earth’s ancient god <Hungry Craving> is completely annihilated.]
[You have acquired a new passive skill <Endless Hunger>.]
[Your attacks can steal the rank of <Type: Divine>.]
There is nothing in the world more powerful than tying up and beating someone.
I threw the torn bear carcass on the ground and spat on it.
“His fighting power is not even as good as Snow White’s.”
Woof woof woof.
As soon as the battle ended I felt the divine power of this space being absorbed into me.
A gray-colored divine power that can be called my own divine power.
The empty space left by the divine power consumed in this battle has been completely filled.
If we look at the original divine power ratio it’s about 90% of Limen’s divine power and 10% of mine.
But now Limen’s divine power has increased to 60% and my divine power has increased to around 40%.
I’ve only absorbed about half of it but this is all. I think my ability was limited to 50 percent.
This means that the amount of divine power this guy possessed was enormous.
I said to Limen as I watched the divine powers scattering through the air.
“Isn’t it a waste? It must have taken a lot of strength to cross the dimension so even that…”
Then Limen shook his head.
“I can’t absorb the divine power accumulated by the divinity of another dimension. Should I say that it’s an incompatible blood type?”
“…It’s easy to understand. What about me?”
“Even though Siwoo is my subordinate god he is from Earth. Furthermore he also gained divinity from Earth. My situation is completely different.”
Even though I fought nonstop after entering the Abyss Dungeon I wasn’t tired at all.
I think it’s because it absorbs the energy.
I took a deep breath and asked Limen.
“I prayed more earnestly than usual but you still came on time.”
“This is because strictly speaking it’s not Earth. It was a hastily constructed world so it had a lot of loopholes.”
“How is the situation in Eden?”
“It’s stable. There are no more invading enemies and it seems like we’re slowly recovering from the aftereffects of war.”
Limen answered in a languid voice. Then he came closer to me and hugged me.
“I missed you. Why don’t you contact me often these days? I’ve been waiting for you for so long.”
“It’s hard to contact you at any time. I told you before international call rates are too expensive.”
I don’t want to contact you so I’m not contacting you.
That’s because every time we make a call hundreds of billions are broken.
Limen laughed softly at my words.
“If you have a temple wouldn’t you make a lot of money?”
“You have no idea how much it costs to run a church on Earth.”
“Well even in Eden money… oh my.”
“why?”
“An uninvited guest has arrived.”
It didn’t take long to figure out what that meant.
“Don’t worry about me and just do what you were doing. Why are you so worried?”
A familiar face appeared behind the collapsed statue.
It was Terra.
Terra said as he kicked the bear’s corpse that was lying miserably on the floor.
“The piglet died well. You worked hard Pope. Now the hunting begins in earnest. It looks very good. Do you know that I have great confidence in you?”
“I never thought I would see Terra like this again.”
Limen said as he stood in front of me.
Then Terra answered with a sly smile.
“Your brother who you’ve been with for a long time has died. Even if he’s a cripple you should pay your respects. That’s the proper way to feel. Isn’t that right Pope?”
“Is this really the end for him?”
“Of course. You ate it all up. And you must have absorbed some of the power this guy had. It’s a very satisfying result. If this dungeon hadn’t gone wild it’s a result I would never have gotten.”
As Terra spoke he threw a blood-red flower onto the bear’s corpse.
“You started out as a beast and became a god who is revered by everyone but what on earth made you so hungry?”
A black flame rose from Terra’s hand.
Whoosh whoosh.
The fire burned the bear’s carcass completely.
“If you were kicked out you could have just stayed there and lived so I don’t know why you’re making a fuss about returning to your hometown. What do you think Pope?”
“Isn’t it because you realized that leaving home is a total pain?”
“A man with humor. He’s charming. Hey Limen you must be happy.”
Limen spoke to Terra with a slightly darkened expression.
“Why did you come to Terra?”
“Oh this time I came to ask you for business not the Pope. So-.”
Terra said something in an unknown language.
I have the blessing of language so I can’t help but not understand but for some reason I just couldn’t understand what she was saying.
It was only then that I realized that Limen had temporarily taken the blessing of language away from me.
Terra continued to speak to Limen.
And Limen smiled bitterly as he listened to Terra’s words.
What are they talking about?
The two of them talked for quite some time with me next to them.
After some time their conversation finally ended and Terra looked at me and said.
“Okay Limen. That’s your choice.”
“Now that your business is finished you may go back.”
“Are you going to destroy this dimension on your own? It’s connected to Earth so it would be a problem if we left it alone.”
“okay.”
“Okay then the intruder will disappear again.”
Terra created a blue door of light in the air. Then holding the doorknob she spoke to me.
“Remember Pope that guy is just the beginning. Then I’ll go back.”
Terra quietly disappeared beyond the door. As soon as she closed it the blue light quickly dispersed.
“Limen.”
I called Limen’s name softly.
“huh.”
“What did you two talk about?”
Limen slowly shook his head to my direct question.
“It’s nothing. Really.”
Is it because of my mood?
As he spoke like that a hint of sadness seemed to briefly appear on Limen’s face.
But that was only for a moment Limen said with a big smile.
“Should we go back to Earth with our comrades? I’ll open the way.”
“Limen.”
“See you later Siwoo. I’ll be waiting.”
Why does it feel like they’re trying to send me back in a hurry?
I couldn’t say anything to Limen.
Our Pope please stop this
