*When completing a quest you can get back the sacred points you spent on the <Inquisitor> and <Inquisition Office>.

A sub-quest that appeared before my eyes after a very long time.

I let out a small sigh as I glanced at the contents of the sub-quest.

As I said before this sub-quest was too good to refuse.

    A business where I don’t lose anything.

A coupon that allows you to select a relic even if you only complete the quest.

And the last line is key.

When you complete a quest all the Divinity Points spent on the quest are refunded.

It was a 100% payback event. Who in their right mind could refuse such a quest?

So I accepted the quest without a second thought.

There is just one thing that bothers me.

“It might be a bit excessive to just bring in the Inquisitor from Eden.”

“Your Majesty there is no need to worry so much. Even in Eden the heretic inquisitors of the Limen Church were known for being merciful.”

    “It was merciful yes. Relatively.”

Compared to the inquisitors of other sects who burned heretics alive and carried out witch hunts the inquisitors of the Limen sect certainly had a gentle side.

Even if the suspicion of heresy was clear no action was taken until the case was tried by the Inquisition.

Instead from the moment the judges have declared me a heretic… I will refrain from speaking.

“In modern society the areas in which the Inquisitors can operate are very narrow. Do you realize that Archbishop Lapart?”

“Of course. I am receiving sincere education from the support group. In order to lead the religious order on Earth shouldn’t we first understand Earth?”

Our Archbishop Laparte is still receiving private lessons from Mr. Park Ji-won who was brought in as a management advisor to the diocese.

Archbishop Laparte nodded slowly as if he understood what I was worried about and continued speaking.

“Unlike Eden the power of the judicial institutions on Earth is quite strong so it would be a good idea to train Inquisitors by taking their characteristics into consideration.”

“You can’t do things like burning them alive or peeling their skin off.”

“Ah Your Majesty you seem to have some misunderstandings about the Inquisitors. The Inquisitors are not such savage beings. They are experts who are more knowledgeable about the doctrines of the Church and have excellent judgment skills.”

“Archbishop Laparte is not gaslighting me because he is a former Inquisitor?”

    “Heh heh.”

Archbishop Lapart simply smiled at my words took a sip of tea and then changed the subject in a sly manner.

“I think the form of the Inquisition could be changed a little. There are ways to include legal professionals such as law firms in the Inquisition.”

As if he had been expecting this moment to come Archbishop Laparte began to propose alternatives.

“Once the evidence collected by the Inquisitors confirms that the target is a heretic we can severely punish the heretic by taking legal action and other means. And if serious blasphemy is discovered….”

    “…when discovered?”

“All you have to do is bring the blasphemer to the temple’s underground interrogation room without anyone knowing. As long as there are no traces or evidence left behind he can be free from legal responsibility according to the principle of presumption of innocence…”

    “stop.”

A way of thinking that is truly worthy of its nickname White Terror.

Saying that you are free from legal responsibility is no different from saying that you want to commit the perfect crime.

This old man is really dangerous.

“Even if you say so Your Majesty… you are nodding your head.”

But without realizing it I found myself nodding along to Archbishop Laparte’s words.

I instinctively agreed with the saying that all I had to do was leave no trace.

    Knock knock.

While Archbishop Lapart and I were talking about the Inquisitor the door to the office opened and a large man came in.

    Of course it was Leo.

“Leo are you here? Sit down. I have something important to talk about.”

    “Yes Your Majesty.”

Leo sat next to Archbishop Laparte and I quickly got to the point.

“I heard that there are many people who commit evil deeds while impersonating our religious order. So now we are going to start training Inquisitors in earnest. What do you think?”

“Those who tarnish the name of Limen should be held accountable. I believe that Your Holiness’s words are correct. Then is there a reason why Your Holiness called me in such a hurry…?”

“I want you to pick out the best candidates among the new trainees to become Inquisitors. You’re an expert in that field aren’t you?”

Leo who heard what I said nodded slowly. Then he put the Bible he was holding in his left hand down on the table and said.

“As Your Majesty knows the most important qualification for an Inquisitor is a thorough knowledge of doctrine. He must be able to discern what is wrong with the other person’s faith and where it deviates from the doctrine of the sect.”

“The students are also studying the doctrine intensively but is that not enough?”

“I think that because the training was focused on combat ability knowledge of doctrine was lacking.”

The new recruits in our church are currently showing a steeper growth curve than any other Awakened group.

The problem is that it focuses on growth as an awakened person rather than as a priest.

This was the result of training new recruits with a focus on combat. It’s not that they didn’t teach doctrine at all but since there wasn’t enough time for doctrine education it was bound to be lacking.

Leo is pointing out that point now.

Archbishop Laparat also nodded in agreement with Leo’s words.

“That’s what Archbishop Leo said. The Inquisitors are specialized personnel who are different from the priests and paladins. Even I don’t think there are any suitable candidates among the trainees this time.”

Among the heretic inquisitors there are many who show fanatic tendencies.

This is because they are beings who study doctrines and detect heresies based on fervent religious beliefs.

Certainly among the first batch of trainees there are no friends who give the image of fanatics.

I scratched my cheek with my finger and said frowning slightly.

“They say we need to bring in new talent and develop them but talent doesn’t just appear overnight…”

    That was when.

    “His Holiness.”

Leo who had been quietly listening to me slowly began to speak.

“I know a place where great people gather who study the doctrines of the Limen Church and are willing to devote themselves to their faith at any time.”

“Where on earth is that place… Wait a minute. Leo. You wouldn’t….”

    “you’re right.”

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Leo so motivated.

Leo spoke to me with more confidence than ever before.

    “No way. Aren’t they there?”

As they say it’s dark under the lamp.

As Leo said those people might be the solution.

    I forced a smile.

    Is this correct?

    2.

A group of fanatics called Liabjuk.

It wasn’t that difficult to make contact with Lee Eop-juk.

With just one click on any contact stored on your smartphone.

“I have arrived quickly at the call of His Holiness the Pope! How have you been?”

“Your complexion looks much better than last time Brother Seo Tae-ho.”

“This is all thanks to the grace of Limen and His Holiness!”

I was able to contact reporter Seo Tae-ho one of the real powers of Lee Eop-juk.

I offered reporter Seo Tae-ho some tea and nodded with a sly smile.

Since I gave you an exclusive interview last time reporter Seo Tae-ho and the Sejong Ilbo he works for have been on a roll.

Even today it is the same.

“I enjoyed reading the article you wrote this morning. I heard it got a great response.”

“Survivors who returned from the lost land. And His Holiness the Pope who personally rescued them! What a touching story! We simply reported the facts as they were. Oh and we also quickly reported the unfortunate incident that happened earlier.”

    “Is this something unpleasant?”

    “Look at this here.”

Reporter Seo Tae-ho deftly took out a tablet PC from his bag and handed it to me with a smile.

The tablet PC’s screen was filled with news articles and Internet reactions and they were all very fresh reactions.

<New Heaven Temple How far will their wickedness go?>

<Defilement of the holy ground of the pseudo-religious council of the Limen sect led by the New Heaven Temple.>

<(Photo) Pope Kim Si-woo of the Limen Church gives a merciful smile to illegal protesters.>

<Joint statement by some Protestant pastors: ‘New Heaven Temple is the greatest enemy of Protestantism. It has nothing to do with us.’>

First of all these are articles uploaded simultaneously by Sejong Ilbo.

These were article titles that showed just by looking at them what direction Sejong Ilbo was taking.

And it wasn’t just the articles.

“This is a screen capture from our Li-Ap-Juk Cafe. It is a good resource for understanding the image of the Li-Men sect in each internet community.”

Reporter Seo Tae-ho lightly touched the screen and a post from an Internet community replaced the articles.

[Title: The New Heaven Temple and the Limen Church are all the same guys lol]

Content: Aren’t they both fake anyway? They’re both guys who make money by selling the name of God. What’s the point of differentiating them? Just let them fight amongst themselves.

Don’t feed him. Judging from the comments he left he’s a believer in the New Heaven Temple.

N (Author) Isn’t it true that they are both religious? Why can’t you refute that?

Both of you are fake what the heck? You guys should contribute to society and then talk nonsense. You guys have been saying that the end is approaching every day since the opening of Dimension.

Did the N-Limen sect ruin families steal donations or cause trouble in society? These guys just have no conscience lol.

Everyone shut up. From now on the Limen Church is the state church. If you refute the New Heaven Church.

    N-Limen-

    N-Limen-

Cyber battles so intense that it feels like a cyber arena.

In fact it wasn’t even something you could call a battle.

“It’s close to a mob lynching.”

“It’s not just the atmosphere here. It’s the general public opinion.”

Reporter Seo Tae-ho nodded his head repeatedly with a look of emotion.

“We the regular members of the Limen Society work with the mindset that we are fighting a holy war every day. Fortunately many citizens are responding to the Limen Sect. This too can be said to be the grace of Limen.”

    A true cyber warrior.

I smiled awkwardly feeling the hot passion coming from Reporter Seo.

He was doing better than I expected.

“I saw my full body image at a university hospital in Guro last time…”

“Ah! You are talking about the statue of the whole body that the members voluntarily raised money to build. That is correct. Isn’t that the place where His Holiness the Pope first performed the miracle of Limen? Since that is also a holy place it is only natural to build a monumental statue of the whole body.”

This is one of the things I learned physically in Eden.

    Don’t try to understand fanatics.

Their way of thinking is different from that of ordinary people. That’s why I gave up on criticizing them.

Instead we quickly moved on to the main point.

“There is something I would like to do with the members of Leepdeokjuk. So I would like to formally invite you all…”

I glanced at Leo trailing off and finished speaking in a low voice.

“Have you ever thought about working for the honor of the Limen Order?”

    Our Pope please stop this
