Somebody Stop the Pope – 127

Episode 127
3.
Archbishop Laparte is a very stingy man when it comes to praise.
Especially when you are educating someone.
The fact that such praise came out of his mouth means only one thing.
The potential that Seungwoo possesses is enormous.
Moreover the potential that Seungwoo possessed was different from the potential that Leo and Luna had shown.
If it is said that the grace that Limen gave to the two was largely specialized in perm
Woooooooooooo-.
The image Seungwoo was showing me right now was the image that was most similar to Limen and far removed from the other two.
“His Holiness.”
“Shh. Just watch.”
The divine power spreading from Seungwoo’s hand gently wraps around Jeong Seungheon’s affected area.
The magical powers that had been tormenting Jeong Seung-heon near the temple quickly dispersed and soon after Seung-woo’s divine power spread throughout his body.
It was a stage that other new trainees in our church had not yet reached.
Not only does it allow you to have complete control over your divine powers but it also allows you to use that control to increase your body’s overall healing powers.
It’s easy to say but it takes a long time to get to that stage. By Eden’s standards only after reaching that stage can you begin your healing missions across the continent as a practicing priest.
They say that it usually takes about 5 years for someone who just entered the church to grow to that level so you can see how great the ability Seungwoo is showing is.
“That’s amazing.”
I smiled happily as I looked at Seungwoo who was absorbed in healing.
Limen is a goddess who mercifully cares for everyone.
In order to take care of everyone in Eden they would have needed the power to fight against the demons and the representative prophets who emerged in that process were Leo and Luna.
In contrast the ability Seungwoo was showing now was specialized in healing someone’s wounds.
Perhaps Seungwoo’s ability was exactly what Limen thought Earth needed the most?
She might have thought that this world called Earth also had many sick places.

Since there was no trace of the causality that always appeared in these touching moments I was able to just enjoy watching Seungwoo.
How much time has passed like that?
“It’s finished.”
Seungwoo turned his head smiling with difficulty.
And after a while
“…honey?”
Jeong Seung-heon who was lying on the bed slowly got up.
“Seojun’s dad.”
“What the heck is this place…..”
At the moment when Jeong Seung-heon was looking around to figure out the situation Seo-jun’s mother hugged his body without saying a word.
Seungwoo silently watched the couple embracing each other.
Are you remembering your deceased mother?
I said carefully placing my hand on Seungwoo’s shoulder.
“We need to step aside for a moment.”
“…yes.”
“You worked hard Seungwoo.”
More than anyone else the spouse must have suffered the most. That’s why I took Seungwoo and Luna out to the front of the hospital room for a moment.
“Seungwoo look at that sweat. Seongha I’ll get you a drink.”
“It’s been so long since you said something so special? When you came bring me some too.”
“yes.”
Luna headed straight to the beverage vending machine and I took Seungwoo and sat on the chair in front of the hospital room.
As Luna said Seungwoo’s clothes were soaked with sweat.
It takes tremendous concentration to precisely use divine power with a child’s body.
Besides since this was my first time experiencing real-life situations it was natural that I would have a hard time.
“Your Holiness.”
“huh?”
“I didn’t make any mistakes did I?”
“It was perfect. Did you see Seojun’s father wake up? He was unconscious until we got here. Look over there.”
I smiled and pointed to the doctors quickly approaching the sickroom.
“The doctors are coming too. You did it all by yourself. I’m so proud of our Seungwoo.”
Seungwoo went beyond simply treating the wounds and even restored the energy of his entire body.
It may not have been difficult for me and the other church leaders but it must have been a miracle for Jeong Seung-heon and his family who recovered thanks to Seung-woo.
If that isn’t a miracle then what is?
“thank god.”
Seungwoo let out a deep breath as if his tension had been relieved. And only then did his face brighten.
I patted Seungwoo’s head again.
It was so amazing to see this guy using his abilities to help others that it made me laugh just to see him.

“Seungwoo.”
“yes.”
“From now on you don’t have to ask permission to help someone like this. Instead just tell us what it is. That way the adults can help you even a little.”
I think there must be a reason why Limen gave Seungwoo this healing ability.
As someone who serves Limen my job is to always listen to her wishes and follow them quietly.
“I wish all the sick people would get better.”
“okay?”
“A sick person is a sick person… and the person who sees that person is also sick. That’s what my father did. That’s why I want to help sick people. Just like the Pope suddenly showed up and helped me and my father.”
Strong words flowing from small lips.
Seungwoo was telling me his dream with a smile.
If it were a child of his age he would probably talk about a more innocent and childish dream but Seungwoo’s words were full of sincerity.
I felt sorry that I had been so busy with external matters recently.
I smiled faintly at Seungwoo who was carefully telling me his dream.
“Is that Seungwoo’s dream?”
“no!”
“hmm?”
“My dad said he wanted me to be that kind of person!”
Seungwoo spoke in a lively voice perhaps energized by the thought of his father.
“My father said that since many people are taking care of you I hope that you will take care of many people later on. I think so too.”
Who could hate such a lovely child?
I couldn’t hide my delight as I listened to Seungwoo’s story.
I think I can understand a little bit why Limen chose Seungwoo.
4.
After Mr. Jeong Seung-heon woke up the hospital room became quite noisy.
It is true that he made a full recovery thanks to Seungwoo but the doctors needed to check various numbers.
So we didn’t plan on staying in the hospital room for long.
More than anything I didn’t want to interrupt their touching moment.
“I don’t know how my family can repay this favor. I really… I really appreciate it.”
“If you really want to repay me buy Seungwoo something delicious. That would be fine. Right Seungwoo?”
“You don’t have to buy me anything delicious! I’m happy enough just knowing that you’re better.”
Seungwoo’s expression had brightened considerably compared to when he first arrived at the hospital room.
Perhaps because it was the first time he had encountered someone who had awakened with his own powers his eyes kept sparkling.
People usually express that they feel a sense of accomplishment when they see things like that.
I looked at Seungwoo and Jeong Seungheon alternately then smiled faintly and said.
“We will now take our leave. You should spend some quality time with your families.”
“But if I send it like this I….”
“Seojun is coming soon right? I’ll give it to those who were worried about Seojun’s father today. Let’s have a cup of tea at our church’s temple later. What do you think Seojun’s mother?”
“I will never forget this favor for the rest of my life. Thank you Seungwoo. Thank you so much.”
Seojun’s mother hugged Seungwoo gently and Seungwoo smiled and hugged her back.
“Can I go to your house to play with Seojun later?”
“Of course. I’ll prepare a lot of delicious food for you. Come visit anytime.”
A flawless happy ending.
Now was the perfect time to leave on a good note.
“See you next time. Luna Seungwoo. Let’s go back.”
“Your Majesty.”
“yes!”
It was a meaningful time just to be able to see how Seungwoo was growing.
So we came out of the hospital room and Luna held Seungwoo’s hand tightly and said.
“Are you going back to the temple right away?”
“First of all. Why are you stopping by somewhere?”
“Since I’m done with work I wanted to take a commemorative photo while I was here. Isn’t this the only place where you can see His Majesty’s full-body statue?”
Yeah it’s been quiet so far.
I looked at Luna with pity.
“If you want to take a commemorative photo take a lot of them yourself and give me the car keys. I’ll take Seungwoo and return to the shrine first.”
“Hey. Seungwoo Seungwoo do you want to take a picture with the full-body statue of the Pope?”
“Oh is that okay?”
“Of course. Let’s go take a picture together. If not now then when else would we have the time to come and take pictures?”
Was that the reason you immediately grabbed Seungwoo’s hand?
Cowardly guy. He’s going to do things through Seungwoo…
I was so careless.
I had no choice but to nod my head because of Seungwoo’s sparkling eyes next to Luna.
“…Okay let’s go take a picture.”
“All that’s left are photos Your Majesty. Smile. How many people in the world can take a photo with their own full body in the background? This is all thanks to Limen-nim’s blessings…”
“Luna shut up.”
“yes.”
I wish Luna would follow Seungwoo even half as well.
please.
5.
On the way back to the shrine I took a bunch of commemorative photos of my entire body.
Although Luna was the driver because Seungwoo was in the car Luna had no choice but to drive much more quietly than usual.
“Seungwoo must have been very tired. He fell asleep as soon as he got in the car.”
Luna said glancing at Seungwoo through the rearview mirror.
As Luna said Seungwoo fell asleep as soon as he got into the car. It was his first time using his divine powers so precisely so of course he was tired.
It must have been quite a strain on a young child’s body.
I nodded leaning back against the car seat.
“You must be tired. Let’s ask Archbishop Laparte to skip today’s training.”
“He’s not a person without reason so he’ll listen. Besides Seungwoo has gained something much more valuable than what he could gain from education.”
“We used to go out and fight and stuff but the youngest one is better than us. Isn’t that right?”
“Now that I think about it that’s true.”
While I was busy with external affairs I almost neglected the original values of the Limen Church.
Thanks to Seungwoo I realized once again that spreading the mercy of Limen to the shadows where light cannot reach is the greatest value of our church.
“I think it would be better to make a definite decision while we have some free time like now Luna. How much have the healing abilities of the first batch of trainees increased exactly?”
“Simple measures including emergency measures are possible.”
“Do you think it would be possible to provide medical services?”
“If we take the level of injury that Mr. Jeong Seung-heon suffered earlier as a standard then even if it’s not a complete cure it could at least be improved?”
“That’s right.”
I nodded tapping on the window.
I think that should be enough. And the parts that are lacking can be made up with the help of modern medicine.
“Now let’s start contributing to society in earnest.”
“Healing service is fine. It’s a task that the priests in Eden also took on. But will it be covered by just our children? The population size is different from that of Eden…”
“We should do good things together. Don’t worry about that part.”
Our youngest is working so hard so shouldn’t I try my best too?
I took out my smartphone turned on KakaoTalk opened a group chat window and immediately typed a message.
<Me: Let’s all take a look. How about a cup of tea each at our church temple?>
KakaoTalk- KakaoTalk-.
The response that comes up quickly as soon as I leave a message.
I smiled faintly as I observed the reaction.
“Even a blank piece of paper is better if you hold it up.”
Our Pope please stop this
