    Chapter Index

In front of us was the fork in the road, the left fork that we took along the shore. The man said he was taking me to a place.

“Hey, kid! I said hurry up, so slow you won’t make it when it gets dark.” He turned around from time to time to urge me on.

I didn’t say anything back, I only dared to whine in my mind, “What can’t you walk when it’s dark, is there even a difference between day and night here? Besides, don’t you see I’m still carrying someone on my back.”

Sister Hong has a plump figure, but not too tall, I estimate that it is only about 110 pounds to death, although it is not too heavy, but if you carry her for several miles, or in this kind of bad underground riverbanks, this if not careful will fall, so I have been walking not fast.

“Stop, stop here.” The man in front of him suddenly stopped.

He pointed across the underground river for me to see.

On the other side of the river was a rock wall, and by the weak light of my flashlight I noticed that there was a crack in the rock wall on the other side of the river, which was about a few dozen centimeters wide and very long up and down, but I couldn’t see how deep it was inside the big crack.

“What’s wrong?” I asked in disbelief as I looked across the river.

“What else, swim across, to the other side,” he said, his eyes half narrowed at the rocky crevice.

“I’m a dry duck who doesn’t know water, not to mention that Sister Hong hasn’t woken up yet, how is she going to get over there, I mean aren’t you playing? If you want to go over, you have to be waiting for Sister Hong to wake up.”

The man looked at me, and then at Sister Hong, who was lying unconscious on my back, he finally sighed and cursed a lazy donkey for grinding on a pile of shit.

Putting Hong Sister her down gently, this man and I leaned against the rock wall and closed our eyes to rest, I want to wait for Hong Sister her to wake up before we go, everything is to be safe.

I was a little tired and leaned back and drifted off.

As the old saying goes, daydreams and nightdreams, I had a very strange dream.

In my dream, I dreamed that I came to a magnificent palace, the palace ground floor covered with fur carpets, the palace on both sides of the six huge bronze palace lamps, palace lamps within the candlelight flickering, one after another, there are a lot of beautifully dressed willowy waist

The gossamer dancers walked into the palace and they danced in groups of three.

These stunning palace maids had eyebrows like the mountains of Dai, and in their light veils flying, they all coincidentally looked toward the upper part of the great hall.

    I looked along.

See, from bottom to top, there are twenty-nine steps, steps, a huge bronze bed in the center, bronze bed cast at the corners of the ferocious eight chi dragons, these chi dragons body twisting like a spring, dragon face fierce, each chi dragon corresponding to a different direction, each looking at the southeast, west, north and west four directions.

On the bronze dragon bed, lying on his side, was a man dressed in a gorgeous head wearing a crown, holding the empty bronze jug in a single hand, not even looking at the dancers behind him.

Since the man’s back was turned, I couldn’t see him square in the face, and I tried to walk over to take a look, but found myself out of my depth.

    Suddenly.

Inside the huge bronze palace lanterns, those burning candles, the firelight slowly transitioned from a pale yellow color to a pale green color, and finally, to a dark green color.

In an instant, the entire opulent palace disappeared, and the green light was languid, as if it had come to the netherworld, and at that moment, the stunningly beautiful faces of those dancers began to turn hideous.

Just then, the man lying on the bronze dragon bed turned his head a little toward me.

    this person

Green face and collapsed nose, pus kept dripping from the face, the whole face was like blistering hair, turned big and round, all the five features were squeezed in the very center, two long teeth pressed tightly against the lower lip, and there were a few hairs naturally hanging down in front of the forehead.

“Ah!” I jerked awake, drenched in sweat, huffing and puffing in shock.

“What? Dreaming of ghosts?” The man opened his eyes against the stone wall and asked me in a nonchalant manner.

“No nothing, just a dream,” I panicked, wiping the cold sweat from my forehead.

This dream, even the patterns on those bronze palace lamps are so real.

Sister Hong hasn’t woken up yet, but I can see that there is blood on her face, so I think if it’s nothing serious, she should be waking up soon.
