Exhausted day, writing a testimonial

This volume, two-thirds of the way through, from Zheng Xinghuai incident, this volume of many ambush, will slowly surface.

Including before this volume, a lot of things that don’t make sense, and I’ll give explanations, as well as fill in the holes.

What follows is a process of digging and filling in the holes and then using them to pile up a big climax, well, that’s what I’m thinking, but the details haven’t been thought out yet, and it’s up to my penmanship to get it right.

The matter of Lao Zheng, I guess, is a process of the protagonist’s change of mindset. At the very beginning, what Xu Baihua wanted was to become a rich man and live a boring life with three wives and four concubines.

Later, he wanted to hug Wei Yuan’s thighs, perhaps resources, and promote his grade.

Then later, after a brainstorming session, he decides he wants to turn his back on the court and fight against the masterminds behind the scenes.

And now, he doesn’t want to be an official, he wants to be a solipsistic, lawless martial artist.

It’s a cycle of gradual mindset shifts.

I’ll put my heart and soul into getting it right for Volume 2, and once that storyline is wrapped up, I’ll take a day off to slowly mull over the outline, the fine print, as well as re-digging up some of the obscure ambiguities between Volume 2 and Volume 1 and continuing them.

As for today, I didn’t sleep yesterday and dragged my tired body home in the night ……….. The brain is a mess, urgent need to rest, catch up on sleep, really can not write anything. Even if I force myself to write, it’s probably a bunch of garbage, so I just won’t do it.

By the way, I’m asking for a monthly pass, mwahahaha.
