    Chapter Index

Volume 1 is over, so I thought I’d write a chapter summarizing it.

The first volume is Kyocha Storm!

The theme is political struggles and serial cases, as well as characterization and padding.

The Sampo case I thought was pretty well written, the plot that needed to be there was there, the characters that needed to be there were there, and the ambush was done.

Yunzhou case, the overall lack of sophistication, mainly because of the high intensity of the update, so that I do not have time to speculate on the details of the case, buried ambush. To put it bluntly, it’s a slow job that produces a fine job. High-intensity updates, inevitably lose part of the “exquisite”.

I think it’s possible to be appropriately rough with online writing. After all, it’s not possible to write for three years, fix it for three years, and change it around for another three years like traditional authors do.

    Ha ha ha.

But even so, the ambush and padding of the Yunzhou case, as well as the reversal, I consciously wrote it pretty well. This level should be okay in this high-intensity updated net article (modestly).

Then there’s these closing chapters, which kind of put the finishing touches on the case, spicing it up and redeeming it. Catch-up subscriptions are up nicely these days, as are monthly votes. Thank you all.

Volume 2, State of the Union.

Unlike Volume I, where the case is the centerpiece.

The first half of the second volume will focus on everyday, trivial events, as well as characterization of the book’s supporting and main characters. Well, Xu Baijun doesn’t need to be portrayed.

Of course, the case is still there to add tension and flesh to the plot, it just doesn’t take up much space.

The second half of the volume is not dramatized.

If Volume 1 is the cornerstone of the book, then Volume 2 is a twist in the book. This volume will be far more dramatic, and important, than the first.

    Stay tuned.

Oh, and a quick note on the update issue, while I’ve always had a single shift for the past few days, it’s damn long, with more words than ever before.

If you all think the big chapter is good, leave a comment here.

If you all feel like 3,000 words a chapter, two chapters a day, then leave a comment here.

We at Petri Dish write our books and actively incorporate the opinions of our legitimate readers.

PS: I’m out of today’s update, I actually wrote over 2,000 words, but it’s too short to post. I’d like to save it for tomorrow to put together a big chapter and post it together.
