Necromancer Academy’s Genius Summoner – 514
by Jessie@AFNCC
Episode 514
After leaving Arland new colleagues joined.
“Simon! I was so careless earlier!”
Benz the green school uniform patted Simon on the shoulder and laughed.
“I never thought a summons student would use the hallucination curse! Oh even if I hadn’t been fooled I wouldn’t have known how the game would turn out!”
The Aland female student I was walking with snorted as if there was no choice.
“Don’t be funny. You saw Chairman Kizen escape by destroying all the plant stems with his summons. After seeing that do you still believe it works? If you’re a necromancer you should naturally be suspicious.”
“I don’t know anyone who hasn’t experienced it! It was a fantasy that felt so real!”
Benz said that and looked at Simon.
“Isn’t that right Simon? I was just caught off guard in the battle between summoners! I will definitely win next time!”
“Then challenges are always welcome.”
Simon answered with a smile.
“I’m glad we got to study together at Keygen Benz. Let’s work hard and climb together.”
“Good!”
Benz smiled showing his teeth and the Aland girl sighed.
“……He was completely defeated in terms of both skill and personality.”
“It’s always noisy from behind!”
Simon Jane and Arland’s transfer students exited the path leading to campus. The forest moved gently blocking the path again.
“Goodbye! Arland!”
Benz raised his arms and shouted at his alma mater. The other two students were also looking at the forest with expressions of mixed emotions as if they were compiling their thoughts.
“Are you here?”
And outside the path a minion sent by Kizen was waiting.
“Professor Jane. The magic circle to the Sierra is ready.”
“great job. Let’s get in.”
As she gestured with expressionless eyes the students quickly climbed onto the teleportation magic circle.

Melberg Canyon Kalos Kingdom.
The air was muggy there was a thick smell of rocks and the surrounding terrain was full of tall rocky mountains.
The narrow deep valley and steep curved walls formed a steep slope and it was so dangerous that if you misstepped you could tumble down a cliff hundreds of meters below.
‘There’s a school in a place like this?’
Simon wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked around. Jane who was ahead said as she walked out of the canyon.
“Arrived.”
The students quickly ran to her side. Their eyes all widened.
“Wow…!”
An indescribably large and bright red rock mountain appeared as if God had painted it with red paint. There was barely any grass or trees to be seen and buildings stood tall at the top of a smooth mountain range.
Simon’s eyes sparkled.
‘That’s the next Necromancer School in Sierra!’
“No way.”
The corner of Benz’s mouth twitched.
“You’re not asking me to climb up to the top right? Sierra you bastards! A plan to weaken Simon in advance…!”
“There will be a mana elevator.”
It was just as Jane said.
As I approached the rock wall Sierra employees were waiting with the elevator parked. It was large enough for about five people to comfortably ride together.
As Jane and the students got on the elevator with the magic circle drawn on it the staff kindly closed the door. Simon touched the wall and found that it was made of mana.
“I’ll go up. It is dangerous so please do not run on the plane.”
Shake!
The sound of the engine revving was heard a few times and then the elevator started to go up like a pump.
“Woo wow! Fast!”
“I can’t see underneath!”
Aland students also squatted down probably because it was their first time visiting the Sierra. Jane said looking at Simon.
“Student President. How is your physical condition? Can you deal with one more person?”
“Of course Professor!”
Simon answered bravely.
I knew that today’s schedule was to deal with representatives of Arland and Sierra. The reason the match against Benz was focused on cursing was to save energy.
‘In this battle the SS or chaos. ‘I guess I’ll have to use one of the two.’
Ku-kung-
When we finally reached the top the elevator stopped. I climbed a rocky mountain thousands of meters above sea level in just a few minutes.
The elevator door opened and Jane and the students came out.
“Ugh what.”
“It’s uncomfortable to breathe.”
When I suddenly ascended to a higher altitude I could clearly feel that the oxygen had become thinner. I felt deaf and slightly dizzy.
Sierra’s campus can be seen in front.
Buildings on campus are also made of red bricks and dirt matching the red rock walls. It has a somewhat unique architectural style with a round roof and is full of quiet stone statues.

And just like in Aland Sierra’s president and faculty were there to greet us at the entrance to the campus.
“Werkam. Karamut!”
Sierra’s president gave a greeting in the native language. It was a man wearing a red suit with parted hair and a beard that exposed his forehead.
He opened his arms and welcomed Jane and the students.
“welcome! Vice President Jane and students! Welcome to the prestigious Sierra which boasts a long history and tradition!”
“Thank you for your hospitality.”
Jane and Sierra’s president shook hands and smiled.
“Now please eat inside. I will personally introduce the school to you.”
Sierra’s president had a very strong sense of pride in the school. Each building and facility raised their voices without just passing by.
“This is a special training facility where our students can experience virtual combat! A huge amount of money was spent but seeing the happy faces of the students made me think it was worth the investment.”
“Nice.”
“Ah Vice President Jane! Last year the exchange exhibition was canceled due to Keygen conducting a semi-exhibition curriculum but we can look forward to it this year right?”
“Yes I will personally make a suggestion to Nephthys.”
While the adults were talking about business Aland’s students kept their rivalry close and began to find fault with each other in hushed voices.
“Don’t you think the gym is a bit narrow? It seems like our school is three times bigger.”
“And the apple pie is 100 silver. The price is too expensive.”
Simon’s eyes were shining and he was looking around like a tourist.
When will I have the chance to visit the Sierra again? Everything from the building style to the class environment was different.
Sometimes students in red uniforms waved at Simon from the window of the building. Simon also smiled and waved.
“hmm-”
Sierra’s president who had been quietly watching Simon like that turned his head.
“That guy is the new student council president of Keygen.”
“yes.”
Jane nodded.
“2nd year student council president! It’s fresh! Keygen is definitely one step ahead in every way! Since it was a second year student I naturally expected students Lorraine Archbold or Cerne Eindark to come! haha!”
“…….”
Jane’s eyebrows twitched at those words.
“I am an excellent student who ranked first in my entire second year. It was a natural step for him to become student council president.”
“okay! However wasn’t the original transfer evaluation event an event where Kizen’s upperclassmen taught and evaluated our Sierra students? So I’m a little worried.”
The president’s eyes narrowed.
“If our student wins Kizen will lose a little bit of face… Haha!”
“There is no need to worry about that at all-”
Jane’s expressionless face changed into a smiling face.
“You’d better wake up from your dream.”
Of course the voice was extremely creepy.
“ha ha ha! As expected you are Vice President Jane.”
The president of Sierra said that in a muffled voice.
“Then how about making a personal bet? If our student wins will Professor Jane teach Sierra’s Ebon Mechanics class for a year?”
‘No way!’
Simon who had been listening to the conversation between the two opened his mouth.
Even Keygen students can’t take Jane’s classes even if they want to. Additionally it made no sense to invite Jane who was already overworked as Vice President of Kizen to be a guest professor at Sierra.
“great.”
‘Professor Jane?!’
“Instead if our student wins we hope that the president will take charge of cleaning the bathrooms in the main Kizen building for one year.”
Jane drank not one drink but five more.
“ha ha ha! That sounds fun! great!”
Simon who was in the middle was watching the battle of nerves between the two adults and his mouth was drying out. Cold sweat broke out on the back of my head.
‘That’s just a joke… right?’

“Okay I’m done with the tour of the campus. Now let’s go to the stadium.”
Following President Sierra’s guidance the group stepped on the teleportation magic circle installed in the plaza and moved to the stadium.
And the moment Simon opens his eyes after completing the space transfer.
Waaaaaaa!
Enthusiastic cheers poured out from the audience. The entire stadium was filled with students wearing red uniforms. It looks as if magma is boiling at the top of the mountain.
Fuuuuuuu!
Fuuuuuuu!
Mana fireworks exploded everywhere and flames rose up.
There was also exciting music playing that made people shake their shoulders and it seemed to be Sierra’s school song. The students sang along loudly and hugged each other’s shoulders to liven up the atmosphere.
In the middle female students wearing matching uniforms were waving cheering equipment and doing cheerleading.
‘crazy.’
But the reason Simon was surprised wasn’t because of the crowds or fireworks.
It was because of the stadium.
This stadium built thousands of meters above sea level consisted of dozens of narrow rock hills rising like pillars at regular intervals. When I looked down there were clouds and it was dark below.
Needless to say if you fall from this height you won’t even find your body.
“Welcome! Keygen!”
“Is this your first time at Sierra’s Sky Stadium?”
“Whahahaha!”
Sierra students poured out one word from the audience. Simon laughed awkwardly and scratched his cheek.
‘…There is a certain degree of home advantage.’
What I did earlier in Aland was like child’s play.
Without flying skills it seems almost impossible to fight properly in this sky arena of the Sierra.
In Simon’s case he did not have skills specialized only for flying. Of course it was as obvious as seeing fire that the necromancer who was the most adept at flying would emerge as the representative of Sierra.
[You’ve been waiting for a long time!]
In the stands a male student wearing a red school uniform was shouting while holding a loudspeaker crystal ball.
[My name is Mahoven and I am a third year student who is the commentator for this game! Let’s start by introducing the players! First of all right! I am Simon Pollentia a young second-year student council president from Loch Island in faraway Kizen! Everyone Park Soo-woo~]
There was a mixture of pure applause of welcome and half booing to discourage people.
The narrator roughly finished introducing Simon and turned his arm around.
[And the red corner on the left! Please pay attention to Hong Corner! Our hero! Our star! Our ace!]
Red lights flashed on the other side of the stadium where Simon was standing.
[Zetz Simerat appears!]
Waaaaaaaa-!
Fireworks exploded along with huge cheers.
The magic circle flashed and a boy wearing Sierra’s red school uniform and a lizard scale scarf jumped out. He spread wings made with black magic and flew freely through the sky.
Jets! Jets! Jets! Jets! Jets!
Every time the Jets Simerat flew at high speed and passed the stands the students responded with wave cheers.
The Jets who turned up the heat in the stadium tumbled in the air and returned to their seats.
“Simon Pollentia. I’ve heard about your achievements even here on the other side of the continent!”
chuck.
Zetsu Simerat stretched out his hand and pointed at Simon.
“But this is the Sierra! It’s our nest! We are invincible here!”
Waaaaaa!
Jets! Jets! Jets! Jets! Jets!
“Invincible.”
Simon smiled calmly and put his hand on his waist. The hem of his black coat fluttered in the wind.
“I’ll now test whether that’s true.”
