Necromancer Academy’s Genius Summoner – 484
by Jessie@AFNCC
Episode 484
Competition for second year students to register for courses was becoming more intense than ever.
As competition intensified some students began using flying skills but it was not a good choice because it not only attracted the attention of flying monsters but also exposed them to floating Endolas cards.
‘good.’
Simon also arrived safely in front of the curse department building. I thought it came pretty quickly but there were students who came first.
“This way!”
“Look for a road behind you!”
But there was one strange thing. They all left the intact front door behind and were going back to find another entrance.
‘Is there something at the front door?’
Simon’s head turned. Three students had collapsed in front of the main gate whimpering as they were trapped in a barrier that looked like a ‘coffin’.
‘Mandatory break of 30 minutes. I was attacked and the barrier gauge became 0%.’
Then who did it to?
The cause was immediately apparent. About halfway between the fallen students I found a large card placed on the floor.
Needless to say it was Endolas Vaudeville’s card.
‘…I understand. The main gate is the quickest and easiest way to get there but is there a powerful monster waiting for you?’
There is no time to look around. If you don’t make unconventional moves you won’t be able to add the classes you want to your schedule.
What is needed here and now is boldness and determination.
While the other students were looking for their way back Simon confidently walked towards the front door alone.
Hwaaaaaaaaaaa!
As Simon got closer light flashed from the large card and instantly separated the space.
The space was much larger than when I fell into the trap of another card. The surroundings were filled with darkness and something large was rising from the floor.
‘Golem?’
It was a monster whose entire body was covered in black ore but only its two snowballs were shining white.
Moreover he is belligerent. As soon as he saw Simon he immediately punched him.
Quaaaaaaaaaaa!
Simon dodged by throwing himself to the side.

The golem’s outstretched fist smashed the tiles on the floor exploded the fountain and shattered a nearby street vendor.
‘I’m glad it’s not a real campus.’
This was a separate world separated by the appearance of a school. Simon moved the completed magic circle to the front of his index finger and prepared for ejection.
The quickest and easiest curse to use.
<Exhaust>
Soon the Exhaust shot out in the form of smoke and hit the golem’s body directly.
‘It’s in!’
Apparently the curse worked.
However the golem’s body slowed down just enough to be barely noticeable. Simon had to dodge the next attack by throwing himself again.
“Ugh!”
In return for forcing himself to dodge while unprepared Simon rolled violently on the hard floor. My whole body hurt but even as I was rolling I immediately prepared for the next curse.
<Sickness>
<Weakness>
I fired a series of curses that I knew well but the golem’s attack was not dulled at all.
Couuuuuuuuuck!
The golem’s massive arm collapsed a nearby building.
Simon ran frantically to avoid the debris falling from the sky. An entire classroom has fallen and desks and chairs are flying around inside.
‘I cursed him three times but there was no reaction. ‘How should I attack it?’
Simon continued to dodge attacks and fire curses while collecting data.
As time passed I discovered a few important facts.
First that golem does not accumulate a ‘curse stack’. Even if you hit the first shot the second shot just bounces off.
Second this time I tried using Secretness again after its duration had expired. It worked but it was extremely ineffective. It seemed that once a curse was used immunity was gained and its effectiveness rapidly decreased.
‘I understand now.’
Simon finally understood the test taker’s intention.
‘Do you mean to do something with a single powerful curse instead of relying on the stack?’
Simon was hiding behind the rubble of a collapsed building panting and flipping through his textbook on low school science. Unless it was a curse I used frequently I just went through it in class and didn’t fully memorize it.
‘I found it!’
Simon finally found the page he wanted and immediately drew a magic circle in the air.
“Rune words are shaded. Series formulas are expanded.”
I never used it outside of class but I still remembered the hair and the jet black color. Simon who quickly completed the magic circle placed the magic circle on his index finger and aimed it at the golem as if pointing the beak of a gun.
A curse that obscures or narrows the opponent’s field of vision.
<Blind>
Whoa!
The blind curse flew like a bullet and hit the golem’s face. If you think about it the only part of the golem’s body that is emphasized is its two white eyes.
Soon the blind curse was applied and the golem’s white eyes turned gray and could not aim at Simon as sharply as before.
‘It worked but it’s probably not the right answer.’
Blinds are just a way to pass the time. I had to deal with it before time passed and the blinds came loose.

Simon slowly got up from his seat and came forward.
‘The best shot I can make.’
Open your palms and close your eyes. Increased concentration.
Grumble!
The sensation of your whole body sinking into calm water. Water droplets rise.
Somewhere in the dark depths of the sea. A sound like a whale’s horn trembles in my ears.
‘We have to completely recreate the feeling of that time.’
The ruler of the sea in front of you.
I remember those big pupils that led all creation towards me.
And that was the only way to combat it.
Kiiiiing!
A magic circle begins to be drawn on the boy’s palm.
‘Overload the magic circle by increasing the supply of jet black beyond the limit!’
Soon the magic circle is torn apart and a three-dimensional magic circle spreads out like a flower bud. It brings the electrifying power contained in black magical power into reality.
Simon’s eyes finally opened.
The very curse used to subdue the very large monster.
<Simon Original – Sleeping Deimos>
With a firing sound that sounded like a whale’s cry a stream of dark blue water throbbed and spread out reaching the golem’s body.
Fuuuuuuu!
The moment it touched an effect reminiscent of waves crashing against rocks occurred. The golem’s body stumbles and falls down from its seat.
Tukwaaaaaaaaaaa!
A huge afterstorm causes everything around to fly and the floor shakes with shock waves.
Simon held on covering his head with both arms.
“……?”
Simon cautiously opened his eyes.
The monster is sleeping stretched out on the floor and beyond it a door made of cards can be seen.
‘I did it!’
Simon was afraid that this monster might wake up so he didn’t like it too much and quietly passed through the door.
Wooooow!
The moment the barrier was completely shattered and Simon passed through the door he was standing in the third floor hallway of the Department of Cursing.
Direct movement.
As the difficulty level of the test was difficult the convenience provided to students who passed the test was also unprecedented.
‘Okay let’s go!’
* * *
The junior department building on the second-year campus.
Bahil’s new laboratory.
Sweet.
Chehekl the chief teaching assistant in Jeju Studies put down the teacup on the tray.
“professor. It’s coffee.”
Then I took a step back folded my hands and waited.
“…….”
Although I usually drank coffee like an addict the man in a pure white suit in front of me didn’t seem very interested. I was just lying down on a chair and breathing.
The surrounding area was full of items and documents that had been moved from the freshman campus but the semester had started and they had not yet been moved.
The same goes for that huge blackboard that takes up an entire wall.
Chehecle looked at the blackboard. There are traces of an ovum under the name Simon Pollentia.
“Professor today is course registration day.”
“…….”
“Students are coming. You should have some coffee and get ready to greet you.”
Slur-
Bahil’s fingers moved.
He was a bit picky and insisted on only using the dishes he used. Even when going out to eat he was a person who went out of his way to ask for food to be served on the plate he brought.
Sweet.
Bahil’s fingers grasped the handle of the teacup containing the coffee. Cheheckle watched with expectant eyes but there was no movement for a minute while holding the teacup. Soon the strength in my fingers loosens.
Then he simply sticks his finger into the hot coffee he just brewed brings it to his mouth sucks it down and then hangs his arm limply like a patient again.
Is this a person or a zombie?
“professor!!”
Sparks flew around Chehekl’s eyes which he could not see.
“What on earth are you doing? You disappeared without saying a word and caused such trouble to other professors! Will the world fall apart because the student you want doesn’t take the class?”
“yes.”
Bahil’s mouth opened.
It was a weak voice without any trace of vitality.
“My world collapsed.”
“What’s wrong with collapsing! What about your crazy ambition to put a curse on the world! The professor himself said that Simon was just one piece for that!”
“Chehecle.”
He smiled weakly.
“He is a talent that comes along once in 10000 years. But my lifespan is less than 10000 years. It is said that a good necromancer lives about 150 years. It’s too short to wait for the next 10000 years.”
“……No Professor!”
Bahil raised his eyebrows.
” is not possible. It was my mistake and I was too hasty. At the very least I should have trained him as an excellent witch doctor in a positive atmosphere for several years and then tried my hand at it. I was trying to teach Compellonia to a 17-year-old who had only unlocked the core for less than a year. Simon is a smart student so he must have figured it out right away. What was I going to do to him?”
“…….”
Chehekl fell silent and Bahil’s helpless eyes turned to her.
“Cheheckle you are too talented to be under me. Do whatever you want. I will write a letter of recommendation to Nephthys. As a professor of elementary school teaching children directly would be a new territory.”
“professor.”
“Otherwise Chehekl always wanted to get away from me. That’s good too.”
“professor.”
“Not even that if you want revenge on me-”
“What I want to take revenge on is not you dying like you are now!!”
she screamed.
“What are we going to do now? Were you the only one who broke down over something like this? Bahil Amagar who was praised by everyone as the best of all time?
She picked up the attendance sheet that had fallen on the floor and slapped it on Bahil’s face! I threw it loudly.
After a while the attendance sheet fell down and Bahil whose face was open was seen smiling helplessly.
“I guess the students came to sign up for the course. professor.”
Chehekl who heard the footsteps calmed his emotions and adjusted his tie.
“Let’s get ready. It is disrespectful to the students to act like this.”
“I guess now…”
“Let’s get ready.”
Chehecle who was cold and angry walked away with his shoes clicking. Just then a knock was heard on the lab door.
“Yes I’m leaving.”
She cleared her voice and opened the door.
and.
“ah!”
Chehecle’s face which had been stiff noticeably brightened.
“professor! Please look here! I am the first student to come to meet the professor!”
“…….”
Bahil sat down on the sofa brushing his messy hair.
and.
“!”
I ended up witnessing it.
A blue-haired boy hesitantly entering the lab.
He was holding an application form for Bahil’s lower education class.
“Ah hello. Professor Bahil.”
Simon bowed his head politely. Bahil was frozen like a stone statue and said nothing.
There was an awkward silence.
“Uhm……”
Simon who was scratching the side of his head in embarrassment soon composed himself and spoke.
“I think I spoke a little too much in the hospital room. I would like to apologize.”
“…….”
“Even if my intentions weren’t pure if it wasn’t for Compellonia that the professor told me about I would have died in the battle with Silaji. Thanks to you I survived. Thank you for teaching me curses during first year.”
Then he bowed his head politely once again.
‘ah……!’
Bahil’s eyes were filled with emotion.
earthly.
How on earth could there be a student like this?
“I chose Summoning as my major but… Still I want to continue learning curses from Professor Bahil in the future.”
I want to continue learning curses from Professor Bahil in the future.
I want to continue learning curses from Professor Bahil in the future.
I want to continue learning curses from Professor Bahil in the future.
I want to continue learning curses from Professor Bahil in the future.
Those words rang like crazy in Bahil’s mind.
“If you don’t mind please allow me to take the class.”
Simon held out the course registration form with both hands. Bahil accepted it with trembling hands.
My heart was pounding and my throat was sore.
Strangely I couldn’t say anything.
My greed was too much.
I really wanted to keep teaching you.
I couldn’t speak because my mouth wouldn’t open and my voice wouldn’t come out.
Bahil simply picked up the quill with trembling hands and signed the document.
“thank you!”
Simon smiled brightly.
After a few more words with Chehekl Simon left the laboratory.
And as soon as Simon leaves the lab.
“Ugh.”
A laugh leaked from the corner of his mouth.
“Ugh! Sigh! Kkkkkk! Hahahahahahaha!”
Like a person who has lost his mind he started laughing shaking his whole body like a mollusk.
The light returned to his eyes again.
Blood rushing through my body.
My heart started pounding.
“okay! okay! okay! okay! I was waiting too! Simon Pollentia!!”
“Lower your voice!”
A frightened Chehecle raised his index finger to his lips and looked outside the door.
“Student Simon has gone and now the second student has arrived.”
“There is no time for those bastards to waste my overwhelming emotions! Cheheckle!”
He stretched out his arms and laughed like a monster.
Simon Pollentiaga.
The boy who tasted the realm of God-
He said he would like to learn curses from me in the future.
“good! great. Very good!”
Bahil fully revived turned his head and looked at Chehekl. Suddenly a sinister smile appeared on his lips.
“Cheheckle! Do you know the term ‘gwateuk’ used among students?”
“……I don’t know.”
“haha! That won’t work! If you are an educator you must be interested in the culture and language of teenage students!”
In just a matter of minutes the superiors changed so much that I was confused about which melody to follow.
“Special is an abbreviation for ‘department characteristics’! And I heard that this is the most representative ‘specialty’ of the Summoning Department.”
Bahil swept his face with eyes filled with madness.
“Transfer of criminal record.”
“…….”
“The Department of Summoning has always ranked first among the seven departments for 50 years. This semester is the only time that Senior Aaron likes Simon Pollentia!
The corners of his mouth rose.
“I will definitely get Simon back.”
‘I never had it in the first place.’
Cheheckle sighed.
Could it be that I have unsealed the monster? Although I was a little worried.
“Second student. I’ll let you in.”
I decided to be purely happy that Bahil had returned to being Bahil at least for today.
