    Episode 481

    Today’s schedule is over.

After finishing all of his afternoon major classes Simon trudged to the student council room.

On the way my direct subordinates who were cleaning the student center building greeted me politely. Simon also smiled and accepted the greeting.

After a while we arrived in front of the student council president’s office.

    dripping.

    “I came out. Guys.”

When Simon opened the door and entered he saw Meilin and Camivarez drinking tea and chatting. The two girls’ heads turned at the same time and greeted me warmly with ‘Simon~’.

    “Come!”

From afar D i c k was seen raising his hand. Then he turned his arm and pointed to Simon’s student council president’s seat.

“If you’re here please sign there!”

    “okay.”

Today is the day of student council president work.

Simon took off his school uniform jacket hung it on a hanger and then put on the student council president coat that was hanging earlier.

    ‘As expected it’s good.’

A symbol of power and the highest honor for a Kizen student.

I still can’t forget the looks in the eyes of freshmen when I first wore this coat. The luxurious fabric felt comfortable to wear.

D i c k was also looking at this with envy.

“Hiya I’m really cool. If it were me I would wear it not only when I go to the bathroom but also until I go to sleep.”

Meirin and Kamivarez also laughed. Simon willingly took off his coat and handed it to D i c k.

    “Then try it on.”

    “really?”

    “huh.”

D i c k didn’t refuse. He immediately put his coat on his shoulders looked in the mirror and made all kinds of fuss.

The female students also seemed to be interested and came over and after a while Meilin said she was going to try it on too. D i c k ran away desperately holding on to his coat.

    “Utcha.”

Simon sat in the spacious student council chair wearing a shirt. The quill that the student council president used to sign was also extremely luxurious and the feather was as big as someone’s forearm.

    ‘I’ll give it a try.’

Simon had to check and sign various documents received by the student council.

Perhaps because it was still early in the process there were no documents in complicated formats. It was all about students’ suggestions and inconveniences.

‘Are you installing a portable toilet at the back of the outdoor training facility? I really need this.’

Simon also had many difficult times. If I needed to run something while training I had to walk 30 minutes to a nearby building.

    Simon signed the document.

‘Café business permit near the entrance. ‘This is a bit ambiguous so hold off.’

I wanted to do everything but I had no choice but to reject items that cost too much budget or were unrealistic. Even if the student council gives permission there is a high possibility that the school will withhold it.

    Balance was important.

There were cases where only one of two agendas could be chosen. Things like the agenda of what to build on an empty site were like that.

    ‘It’s fun.’

As he was handling the school’s agenda it felt like Simon had truly become the student council president.

After happily finishing today’s work I leaned back against the backrest and closed my eyes.

‘I wish the intensity of work was just like this after school.’

    “Simon.”

    Simon opened his eyes.

Meirin with the student council president’s coat draped over her shoulders was standing with an embarrassed look on her face. Simon let out an exclamation without realizing it.

“It suits you well Meilin! Would you believe me if I told you he was the real student council president?”

Meilin also smiled and accepted the joke.

“Hmm then can you change it? You are the vice president.”

    “That’s good too.”

“Ah it was a joke. Please look at this too.”

She rustled took out a document and held it out with both hands. Simon took it and read it.

“Uh this restaurant evaluation system. Is that what you said before?”

    “that’s right!”

    Meilin gave a detailed explanation.

Because this was something the four of us decided to do together. Simon signed the document without hesitation.

“Ahh you allow it? thank you!”

Meilin smiled brightly as she held the documents in her arms.

At that time the president’s coat slipped off her shoulder. Meilin turned her back and shouted ‘Hey!!’

“Kami should wear something like this too. ruler.”

“Cute! He’s like a little captain!!”

Simon smiled satisfied with the friendly student council atmosphere.

It was nice to be able to continue to hang out with these guys. Keygen was a real boost to my life.

We were sitting around on the sofa for a while drinking tea and talking about our major classes.

“It’s good to have fun but shouldn’t we start planning this now?”

D i c k held out an empty ticket. Camivarez who was wearing Simon’s student council president coat tilted his head.

    “What is it? D i c k?”

“It’s a timetable. And tomorrow is the day to register for classes!”

    ‘It’s tomorrow.’

Simon was also familiar with the notoriety surrounding Keygen’s course registration.

Required major subjects for second year students are determined but they are not general subjects. Simon can choose to listen to up to four of the following: Witchcraft Dark Mechanics Necromancy Blood Poison and Magic. I had to listen to at least three things.

The ‘required subject’ that must be included in the timetable is Jet Black Mechanics. And this time under Nephthys’ instructions the newly added ‘Divine Defense’ also became essential. It was to prepare for war with the Priest side.

For your information D i c k said that Divine Defense is determined by each department so it has nothing to do with course registration.

“If you enter the dormitory everyone will be in an uproar right? Well I’ve compiled a list again!”

The three people sitting looked at the list with bright eyes. Simon rubbed his chin.

    “This is quite complicated.”

“That’s true if you pay attention to even the smallest details. There’s no need to think complicatedly. In the end what we choose is which class we take with which professor.”

If there are a lot of changes in the timetable in the first year the timetable in the second year is somewhat fixed.

It feels like the first and second days of the week are only major classes and the fourth and fifth days are general classes only. The third day is a mix of the two. You can roughly guess what classes you can take on what days of the week.

「Intermediate General Black Mechanics – Professor Jane Olivia / A」

“But what is the ‘A’ attached to the subject here?”

    Simon asked.

    “Uhm-”

Meilin frowned tucking her hair below her ears.

“Professor Jane’s class so isn’t it a ‘Level A class’?”

    “Wrong. It’s just ‘time zone’.”

D i c k shook his head and gave another subject as an example.

“Professor Byeol-ya’s ‘Intermediate General Reading Studies’ is also labeled with A right? It’s a class at the same time. In other words you cannot apply for the same A-line class multiple times. You have to choose one of the two.”

    “ah!”

“At this time if you really want to take a class on deadly poisons you should take Professor Crowley’s class on deadly poisons instead of Professor Byeol-ya’s class on the same A-line right? Because this is the D line.”

    “Now I understand.”

Simon also scanned the list with interest.

In addition to the black and white fight there were also liberal arts subjects such as history economics and foreign languages. Although these subjects are not reflected in my grades I was able to learn them literally without any burden.

“It came out just right! Is it too easy?”

Meilin wrote on a blank piece of paper.

    「Intermediate Dark Mechanics – Professor Jane Olivia / A」

    「Intermediate Lower School – Professor Bahil / C」

    「Intermediate Demonstration – Professor Hongfeng / D」

“First of all these three subjects are definitely confirmed! how is it?”

    D i c k let out a goofy laugh.

“It’s an insanely luxurious lineup. Well if only I could hear things like this again this year I would be happy just thinking about it.”

    “The problem is-”

    Simon raised his index finger.

“Do you think all the other kids also made their timetables like this?”

    “That’s correct Simon.”

D i c k nodded and stuck out his tongue.

A timetable where you can take all the classes of Jane Bahil Hongpeng one of Keygen’s leading star professors.

“This is a very ideal timetable.”

“What about it? Aim big! Dream big!”

Meilin smiled brightly and said. Camivarez looked at D i c k.

“By the way D i c k. How exactly do I register for courses?”

“Oh I forgot that. Let me explain.”

The course registration itself is easy. All you have to do is go to the professor submit the course application form and get his/her signature before the class is full.

However there is no way that the infamous Keygen would allow this so easily. It is common to place dangerous things such as numerous monsters and obstacles on the way to the professor.

“Last year monsters were unleashed throughout the second-year campus. In order to register for classes you had to go out and risk your life.”

    “……Ugh of course Keygen.”

    Meilin was shocked.

“To sum it up course registration is also a competition.”

    Simon crossed his arms.

“I don’t know if the keygen will release monsters or set up obstacles but if we pass faster than other kids won’t we be able to get better subjects?”

    “That’s it!”

D i c k’s eyes flashed sharply and he raised his index finger.

“So you have to plan really really well. First let’s decide which class to apply for. You’ll probably be able to hear about the first place you’ll stop by.”

“Of course it’s Professor Jane’s class!”

Maylin said. Camivarez looked at her.

“But Meilin majored in Ebon Mechanics so you’ve already heard it right?”

    “Look here. Kami.”

Maylin showed the next page of the list D i c k brought.

Course plan for each subject. In other words it contained class outlines and preparation materials that professors wanted to inform students of.

“In addition to the Black Mechanics the key is to acquire the essential knowledge you need to know as a necromancer and strengthen your capabilities. It says that even those majoring in Jet Black Mechanics can apply! Well there may not be any overlap but the more you take Professor Jane’s classes the more you benefit!”

“okay! If Meilin says so the first subject will be Professor Jane’s class. So what’s next?”

    Camivarez made a worried expression.

“Professor Bahil’s class and Professor Hong Peng’s class! It’s hard to choose between the two first!”

“Ah but according to my information Professor Hong Feng’s registration for Matu Studies is the most difficult. To find Professor Hongpeng you have to search all over Locke Island not just the second-year campus.”

“Then let’s put Professor Hongpeng in third place. Let’s start with lower education.”

In this way the desired timetable and application order for the four student council members were decided.

Jane Bahill Hongpeng’s order just like she did the first time.

And for the fourth and final subject each of us decided to listen to whatever we wanted to hear individually.

Simon didn’t really think much about the fourth subject. There are already 7 classes in total including 3 major subjects 3 general subjects and sacred defense. I was busy with my job as student council president so it was a matter of some thought to expand my classes to 8 subjects.

I set the timetable like that and even thought of the next best plan in case the time was too long or the plan went awry.

“Professor Bahil curse science is taking a while.”

    D i c k rubbed his chin.

“If you’re a necromancer you absolutely have to take curse science. Is that okay Professor Vahil? You didn’t participate in the department selection ceremony last time.”

Simon made a sour expression and Maylin rolled her eyes.

“I guess I put my name like this because it’s okay. You idiot!”

“I also want to continue learning curse science from Professor Bahil!”

    Simon nodded.

Of course it was the same for Simon.

    * * *

    That night.

    Summoning Dormitory.

    Koo- Koo-

Toto was snoring and sleeping as if today’s class had been very difficult and Simon turned on his desk light and thought about the rotation formula for the Skeleton Knight he was using this time.

    Talk.

    Totalk.

Simon turned his head as he felt cold water droplets splashing on his face.

    ‘It’s raining.’

    Shootaaaaa-

Rain was pouring down hard outside the window. Simon got up and closed all open windows.

‘Course registration will begin when the sun rises but will it stop until then?’

Simon stretched and sat down at the desk again moving his quill pen. The sound of night rain outside the window seemed to increase my concentration.

    ‘Oh this is good.’

Simon wrote down the idea that just came to his mind and underlined it.

‘If the axis of rotation starts from underneath the skeleton’s feet…’

    thud!

Simon winced and raised his head.

    Shootaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~

There was clearly a thumping sound nearby but there was nothing around.

Toto was sleeping and the only sound outside the window was the sound of rain. I held my breath and waited but I couldn’t hear anything.

    ‘……Did I hear it wrong?’

The moment Simon tried to focus on his studies again.

    Wow!

Simon whose senses became sensitive immediately turned his head toward the source of the sound.

    ‘!!!’

    And then I saw it.

A clear print of a person’s palm on the glass window.

Simon was so startled that he jumped up from his seat.

    thud! thud!

A person’s hand continued to tap on the glass window and soon long hair soaked in water stuck to the window.

Simon stepped back feeling suffocating fear.

“Who is it? Toto! Toto! Wake up quickly!”

Simon grabbed Toto and shook him but no matter how much he shook him he wouldn’t wake up.

    thud! thud! thud!

    ‘Oh wait a minute.’

At that time Simon’s eyes widened.

That ghost’s face seemed somehow familiar.

Simon swallowed his saliva and slowly walked towards the window. Then I opened the window.

    Shoot!

The sound of rain can be heard more clearly as the window is opened.

And we see a woman drenched in rain hanging on the second floor. Simon said in surprise.

    “Teacher Cheheckle!!”

She is the chief assistant to Professor Barhil.

    It was Chehecle.
