Necromancer Academy’s Genius Summoner – 474
by Jessie@AFNCC
Episode 474
The student council president appointment ceremony ended successfully.
And the last turn. At the end of the entrance ceremony the ‘Department Introduction Corner’ newly established by the student council was waiting.
The response was truly explosive.
“Hello new students! My name is Jamie Victoria and I am a second-year member of the curse department!”
The second graders came out led by Jamie. An explanation of each subject the pros and cons of choosing a major and my experience as a freshman were included.
“Look over there Simon!”
Camivarez waved the hem of Simon’s clothes with an excited look on his face.
“Everyone is very focused!”
“huh.”
Simon was equally surprised.
There was not a single person doing anything else or dozing off.
Is it because the previous adults’ speeches were so boring that I am comparing them or is it because my concentration is at its peak as I am about to start my first class as a first grader?
Everyone was listening to Jamie’s story as if they couldn’t miss a word. There were also freshmen who took out something and took notes frantically.
Host Sayyur reproduced Jamie’s words using his illusion abilities and Jamie also showed powerful curses representing the department.
“That’s it! It was an honor to introduce curse science in front of you! I hope you can join our curse department when you become a sophomore in a year! thank you!”
Jamie successfully completed the first turn and the freshmen cheered enthusiastically.
Jamie who had been walking back with a confident stride passed the curtain and reached the back of the podium slumped down in his seat and took a deep breath.
“Ugh I’m nervous! I’m so nervous!”
“Good job class leader! It’s the best!”
Meilin screamed and grabbed her shoulders and shook her violently. Simon also came and spoke.
“great job. He spoke very well.”
“I practiced all day yesterday! The host over there also accepted what I said with good sense.”
Jamie looked up and smiled at Simon.
“Thank you everyone. For putting me in this position. I had a really good experience.”
Then I heard Sayyur’s voice.

“Next we will invite a student who will introduce us to pitch black mechanics! Meilin Villenne from the second year!”
Next is Meilin’s turn.
She ran onto the stage with confidence and without a doubt showed off her capabilities as vice president.
“Isn’t it the easiest department in your opinion? If you have a lot of talent does it feel like it’s just an okay choice?”
Hahahaha!
The freshmen who were caught off guard by her joke laughed cheerfully and Meilin spread her arms wide.
“I will break that notion! What can you do if you learn pitch black mechanics? Please look at the screen.”
There were no mistakes or misunderstandings.
It was dazzling to see her confidently going through all the content she had prepared not being swayed by the cheering crowd and sometimes having the time to communicate with the audience.
Simon once again thought that he had chosen the vice president well.
Meilin’s presentation was also a huge success.
“Next is the student in charge of summoning. Simon Pollentia!”
Waaaaaaa!
The minions waiting behind the stage covered their ears for a moment. Simon was also covering his ears and laughing shamelessly.
“Wow you’ve become a superstar.”
Cindy Vivace said with a grin.
Soon Simon went up to the podium grabbed the loudspeaker crystal ball and began explaining the Department of Summoning. Much of the story was influenced by Aaron.
I didn’t exaggerate the fact that the Summoning Department was just good. He also honestly acknowledged that it may be a department that does not fit realistic aspects and current trends.
“but-”
Simon’s eyes lit up.
“I don’t know anything else but I’ve never heard of a necromancer who can’t summon.”
Laughter erupted from everywhere. In particular those who reacted most cheerfully were the adults on the third floor.
Although it was a bit behind the trend older necromancers still loved summoning.
“As a necromancer I think it’s natural to improve your summoning skills. The fact that I have my own medical history and that I am not alone in any situation.”
Simon’s eyes lit up and he stretched out his arms toward his juniors.
“I admit there are risks. However I am sure that there are people like me who will enjoy this study despite taking all the risks. I’ll end my explanation here. thank you!”
There was a louder cheer than any other time.
The existence of a senior named Simon Pollentia.
The popularity of the Summoning Department was expected to explode next year as well.
* * *
Following Simone Cindy introduced the Command Department and then it was Camivarez and Claudia’s turn.
In particular Camivarez’s popularity was enormous.
“Well our hematology is…!”
This was my first time presenting something in front of so many people. She continued crossing her legs.
“You may feel aversion to the fact that it consumes blood… Actually more than any other department…!”
It wasn’t a perfect presentation but I still had courage and did a good job. Freshmen were also listening with smiles on their faces.
“Cheer up Kami!”

“Kyaaaa!”
“I feel like I’m going to cry!”
And behind the stage Maylin Jamie Cindy and Claudia were kneeling on the floor poking their heads out of the curtain and watching.
“……What are the four of them doing sitting around?”
D i c k who had just come down from dealing with the VIPs let out a laugh. Simon answered.
“Currently Kami is introducing the Department of Hematology.”
“Oh I see.”
D i c k chuckled and waved a script card.
“What is that?”
“Ugh! Kami spilled it while practicing! Probably soon……”
“Simoon on!”
Suddenly Camivarez who had been giving a good presentation came running towards Simon in tears.
“I! Stir! The piece of paper I wrote on here is gone…!”
“Ah in that case you have to ad-lib! Kami.”
D i c k spoke mischievously but Simon quietly took D i c k’s script with Cloud and returned it to Camivarez. When she realized what had happened she looked at D i c k and shouted.
“I hate D i c k!”
Swish!
The female students broke down when they saw Camivarez turning his head and quickly returning to the podium.
“Haaaa.”
“I really miss Class A.”
D i c k smiled shamelessly and scratched his head.
“It was a joke but maybe it was a bit harsh for Kami.”
“huh. Apologize straight away later.”
“Yay~ I’ll start right away from the head.”

After Camivarez and Claudia it was the turn of the presenter Matuhak. It was decided that Simon would contact the student who would present Matu Studies.
Seywir shouted.
“It’s already the last corner! Are you sad new students?”
“yes!!”
“But now you have to go to class! The glares that the broadcasters over there are giving me are stinging. Anyway lastly we are inviting a student named ‘Kajan Edwald’ to introduce Matuhak!”
Kazan walked forward without any signs of nervousness.
He held the loudspeaker crystal ball given to him by Seiwir and scratched the wound on his right eye as a habit.
Wounds all over the body and bandages visible under the uniform. Because his appearance was so impactful the freshmen looked a little nervous.
“I came at the request of the chairman but I don’t have anything special to introduce about Matuhak.”
The freshmen were buzzing. At the back of the stage Meilin grabbed Simon by the shoulder and shook him.
“Yah! How did the recruitment happen?”
At that time Kazan clenched his fist and lightly thrust it forward.
Fuuuuuuuuuuck!
A huge wind spread out and swept the surroundings. The hair of the freshmen who were sitting was flying wildly and some of their small belongings were blowing in the wind.
Kazan who created the wind pressure slowly lowered his fist.
“There is no need for trivial stories. Matu symbolizes pure power.”
After a production that caught the freshmen’s attention Kazan’s detailed explanation continued.
“I think everyone has prejudices about Matu. However the general opinion is that a matu specialist is capable of the fastest and most one-dimensional response in any situation and can exert even power against any enemy.”
“I would like you to note that according to Pentamonium’s statistics the most preferred colleague among professional necromancers is the Matou Major. Matu protects his companions until they prepare for dark magic and shows its true potential and can suppress powerful enemies with a preemptive strike.”
“However it cannot be said that the follow-up firepower is weak. Matu majors do not use magic circles but…”
Not only the freshmen who were listening to the explanation but also the second-year students waiting behind the stage had their mouths wide open.
With both legs firmly planted on the floor he did not move his body let alone make a gesture and delivered a captivating speech in an extremely restrained manner.
“You’re even good at what you say. Senior Kazan.”
Meilin gave a goofy smile.
“He’s also my ex-roommate!”
D i c k said excitedly.
“Think about Kazan’s affiliation! This is not someone you can compete with with student-level presentation skills!”
When Kazan finished his presentation and returned to the podium Simon and the students greeted him with enthusiastic cheers.

The newly created department introduction corner which was created as an idea by the student council was a great success.
Meilin conducted a simple survey at the entrance and it showed the most overwhelming satisfaction among the entire entrance ceremony.
“Isn’t this enough to solidify it as an official course for the Keygen entrance ceremony in the future?”
Meilin turned on the happiness circuit. Of course D i c k’s VIP treatment was also successful.
“Hehe! You can look forward to a glass of snowball. I’m sure the elders will say a lot of good things to the Keygen headquarters?”
It was an entrance ceremony that satisfied both the lowest public and the highest minority. Jane the professor in charge of the student council also visited the four people and encouraged them for a job well done.
So the first year students left to take classes and Simon and the student council members along with their direct subordinates finished cleaning up the main auditorium and returned to the dormitory.
I rested well the next morning.
Now it was time for second graders to begin full-fledged Keygen ‘Second Year 1st Semester’ classes.
Aaron arrived at the classroom at a shambling pace.
The students neatly set up their textbooks and Skeleton Knight materials on their lab desks.
“Did everyone get a good rest?”
“yes!!”
Aaron nodded and stood in the podium.
“It looks like you’ve prepared all the textbooks and supplies. Starting today let’s completely throw away the foolish images from our freshman year. I hope you will attend class with the attitude of a major.”
Aaron took the chalk and slowly wrote on the blackboard.
「Skeleton Knight」
Aaron lowered his arm holding the chalk looked back at the students and opened his mouth.
“Is there a student who can tell me the difference between a regular skeleton and a skeleton knight?”
As the students began to notice there was a female student who proudly raised her hand.
“This is Aseraz Mikel.”
5th place overall.
She who ranked first overall in written scores stood up.
“Cost speed armament. There are various differences but the most obvious differences can be summarized in one word.”
Asheraz continued with serious eyes.
“It is strength that does not require control.”
A strength that does not require control.
What does it mean?
“Well done.”
Aaron nodded and signaled for them to sit down. Then he waved his arms in the air.
Clap la la la la la rock!
Bones scattered throughout the classroom flew out circling in the air and created three skeletons and one skeleton knight in front of the students.
The stage was completed in almost a second.
Students unconsciously exclaimed in admiration at the extremely clean no-frills controls. In particular Simon felt his shoulders shrug at the surprised reaction of the students in the class behind him.
“From now on I will not get involved out of resignation. Let’s have a pure fight.”
Ta-da-dak!
Ta-dak!
Three regular skeletons rushed in with swords in hand. Although the Skeleton Knight was undead he wore armor and held a sword and shield in one hand.
bang! bang!
Early in the battle. The Skeletons used their superior numbers to brutally push the Skeleton Knight. The Skeleton Knight makes defensive movements with his shield in front.
‘That’s unusual.’
While the students were purely enjoying the battle Simon’s eyes were strangely sparkling.
‘Even though it is not controlled by thoughts it is an undead with a defensive nature.’
As the undead are monsters made from corpses they have no hesitation in throwing their bodies away. Because violence ignorance and cruelty are the words that come to mind when thinking of the undead.
However Skeleton Knights have a defensive nature. and.
puck!
Little by little the skeleton’s attacks are being repelled. Start by hitting the skeleton’s legs or chest with your shield or sword to break it down.
puck! puck!
They reduced it from three to two.
Kwasik!
I succeeded in cutting down the last remaining skeleton.
“As you can see the Skeleton Knight has the combat power of three regular skeletons.”
As the Skeleton Knight celebrated by raising his sword the Summoning Department students laughed uproariously.
“If there were four skeletons the knight would have been lopsided. Next-”
Clap la la la rock!
A regular skeleton appeared again in front of the skeleton knight doing the ceremony. The two skeletons took the same pose holding swords of the same length.
“Differences in available technology.”
Wow!
The skeleton moves forward using ‘dash’. The Skeleton Knight simply swung his sword without a dash.
Ugh!
Simon’s eyes widened. I saw black light flickering on the Skeleton Knight’s equipment.
The two skeletons swung their swords almost simultaneously.
bang!!
The body of the running skeleton shattered and flew into hundreds of pieces.
It was literally crushed.
“Skeleton Knight can use the attack ‘Bash’ rather than the rush ‘Dash’.”
Wow!
The students clapped their hands and cheered.
“Fun!”
“After all classes should be like this!”
While the Summoning Department students especially the students in the back class cheered Aaron calmly continued speaking.
“Well let’s stop here and ask another question. Besides Aseraj is there any other student who can explain the meaning of ‘strength that does not require control’?
chuck!
This time Simon raised his hand as if he had been waiting.
Aaron nodded and Aseraz looked at him warily.
“This is Simon Pollentia.”
Simon stood up proudly.
