Necromancer Academy’s Genius Summoner – 458
by Jessie@AFNCC
Episode 458
“What is hello?”
Jane put Nephthys on the floor and hit her on the top of her head.
Nephthys says ‘Ang!’ I made a sound and cried while covering the area where I was hit.
“It hurts!”
Jane said without changing her expression even once.
“How did you get here?”
“Hey~ It was attached to the teacup cart!”
Jane stood up and winked at Maylin. Maylin quickly moved to the side and Jane sat down and picked up Nephthys and placed her at the head of the table.
“We are educating students. Do you have something to say?”
“no!”
Nephthys smiled proudly.
“I’m just going to eat!”
“If you’re going to disturb me please leave.”
“no!”
Nephthys raised her hand toward her minion.
“snack! Bring me more snacks here!”
“yes!”
This is the real Nephthys.
The servant who received the order ran out with a cold expression. Jane who was glaring at Nephthys began teaching the students again.
“Since Nephthys is here I would like to explain that the student council is ‘directly under the president’.”
Simon and the members nodded.
“And among all Kizen students only the student council president can request a meeting with the president and suggest student agendas.”
Nephthys says ‘Ahem!’ and crossed his arms. There were cookie crumbs all over his mouth so he didn’t look very dignified.
“Ugh.”
Jane took out a handkerchief and rubbed her superior’s mouth with selflessness. ‘Woop! Boop!’ Nephthys protested and Simon who saw her smiled faintly.

On the other hand D i c k and Maylin Camivarez next to them were staring straight ahead in a stiff and tense posture.
Jane folded the messed up handkerchief neatly and looked solemn again.
“You understand right?”
“yes! professor!”
“Then as Vice President of Keygen I will give your first task to your student council.”
First mission.
It was the moment when the four people’s concentration reached its peak.
“New student entrance ceremony to be held the day after tomorrow.”
Jane smiled.
“The student council will be in charge. Manage this event yourself and make sure it is a success. more.”
The new student entrance ceremony was one of Keygen’s biggest events. For a first mission it was a huge responsibility.
“All the necessary documents are here.”
Jane took out a thick stack of documents from her bag and boom! and put it down on the table.
“The schedule has already been planned and all basic systems are in place. Here you can add what you can and change what you want to change. With extra budget it’s okay to try something new.”
Oh you can just spend a lot of money! said Nephthys and then Jane struck her on the top of the head again.
“This crown breaker!”
Jane said lightly ignoring Nephthys’ protest.
“The original student council president appointment ceremony is the day after tomorrow but in order to carry out this mission you will need an appropriate gift.”
After saying that she took something out of her bag.
“oh my god!”
Meilin was so moved that she covered her mouth. D i c k also clenched his fists as if he couldn’t hide his excitement and Simon and Camivarez laughed together.
That is a symbol of power. An item that makes you feel confident just by wearing it on your arm.
It was a ‘student council armband’ that only student council officers could wear.
“Please come one by one.”
Jane personally placed an armband on the right arm of each student. Nephthys laughed.
“It suits you well!”
All four people had flushed expressions and were fiddling with the student council armbands on their arms.
“Then I will trust you and leave it to you. 330th Student Council.”
“cheer up!”
The four students responded energetically to the encouragement of the adults.
“yes!”

Same time.
Forbidden Forest.
“Phew!”
A third-grade boy holding a shovel said wiping sweat from his forehead.
“I guess I can dig it up like this right?”

“good.”
A large puddle had been dug in front of them. The pipe boomed that way! It landed with a sound.
Slurp slurp slurp.
An unidentifiable foul-smelling liquid was filling up the puddle along the pipe. Students around me were holding their noses or gagging.
-Uuuuuu!
-Ugh!
The water in the pool began to splash and this time the zombies moving within it flailed stretching out their arms.
“Ready.”
Will ranked 12th overall was watching the scene with a grin.
“What alcohol should you let the kids drink?”
“I’m ready.”
“What is this game?”
“I guess I’m just getting started.”
He pointed to a corner of the forest. Noisy laughter could be heard everywhere.
“very good.”
The corners of Will’s mouth turned up with a smirk.
“Call the kids. Let’s get started before the student council interferes.”
* * *
Simon’s 330th student council immediately held its first meeting.
Four people sat around the sofa in the center. My shoulders were heavy as I took on important responsibility from my first mission but I was full of passion.
The core of the story was ‘an entrance ceremony that can be helpful to new students.’
“How about this? We are creating a corner where seniors directly introduce the department in front of freshmen!”
Meilin suggested loudly.
When the other three responded somewhat ambiguously she quickly added:
“Do you all remember first grade? On the first day of class the professor in charge sets up groups for ‘group assignments.’”
“That’s how we met.”
D i c k said.
“It was cool when Simone brought Mei-Lin to Group 7!”
Camivarez laughed. Meilin’s face turned red.
“Ugh ah! But don’t go too far into the past! Concentrate!”
She knocked on the table drawing the attention of the three people again.
“In the end you have to decide on your desired subject within two or three days of entering school but at that time not everyone knows what subjects they are good at. I don’t even know what I’m learning in class.”
Simon could immediately understand what Meilin was talking about.
When it comes to group composition for first-year group assignments it is advantageous to form groups with students interested in subjects that do not overlap.
However it is surprisingly not easy to meet all four of them who are aspiring students of different subjects. In the worst case extreme combinations such as ‘three magicians and one poisonous crane’ emerged.
Students who were not yet sure of their desired subjects chose somewhat unexpected subjects in order to ‘form a group’ and they had to focus on subjects that did not suit their aptitude throughout the first year and suffered losses.
‘hmm.’
Simon who was lost in thought opened his mouth.
“Your seniors gave you advice to help you make the right choice when forming a group right? It’s not bad.”
“Yes yes! That’s it Simon!”
Meilin clapped her hands together in joy.
“Hmm~ Well I don’t think there is a big problem right now.”
D i c k objected.
“I was a candidate for the Dark Mechanics and Meilin you also chose the curse candidate. Still wasn’t it okay because we all found our seats well in the second year?”
“you idiot! I was an elite in all subjects at the time so that was possible! Other kids don’t have as many choices?”
“You’re suddenly bragging about yourself.”
“But then I listened to the stories of the kids in the class.”
Camivarez opened his mouth. All three people pricked their ears and focused on her.
“He said that because of his group position he had no choice but to study particularly intensively on the subjects he was responsible for in his group. He later opened his eyes to curse science and even though curse science was fun he said that he was sensitive to curse aspirants in the same group.”
“…….”
Simon who heard those words closed his eyes.
I remembered what Aaron said in the first class of Summoning.
-The class you took earlier told us how good our major is so why do we have to take it? I think those kinds of stories probably went back and forth.
-Personally I am against it. We need to clearly explain all the pros and cons so that students can make the right choice.
Those words still left an impression on Simon.
“Meilin and Kami are right.”
Simon opened his eyes and organized himself.
“There is almost no explanation of each subject other than what the professors give during the first class. So wouldn’t it be helpful to freshmen if we as seniors talked about the pros and cons of each subject from a purely student perspective?”
“huh! I agree!”
“me too!”
“From what I heard it seems necessary.”
In the end this agenda was accepted with even D i c k agreeing.
Afterwards the four people drew up a detailed plan.
“If you’re going to do something you need to secure objectivity. It would be better for students majoring in each subject to come forward and speak in person.”
Maylin rested her chin at D i c k’s words.
“Then shall we ask the second-year department representatives?”
“Will they do it?”
D i c k shook his head.
“And there’s no need to be indebted to the kids who will fight for the rest of their lives regardless of whether they get permission or not.
Camivarez also nodded.
“I think it would be difficult for department representatives to talk honestly about shortcomings from a student’s perspective because they are directly involved in the interests of the department!”
Meilin immediately agreed.
“Okay so you can choose a major other than the department representative regardless of grades? There’s no need to think hard right? I will do the pitch black mechanics myself.”
Well there was no need to go far. Meilin looked at the other two people.
“Of course Simon is the master of summoning and Kamiga is the master of blood flow!”
“Is it okay if I do it? It’s not a very high grade…”
“Grades don’t matter! Because I am speaking honestly about my experience as a senior who studied a year earlier! And the Department of Reading and Reading…”
When Maylin turned her head D i c k was pointing at her with an expectant expression.
“I’ll have to ask Claudia.”
“No why!!”
D i c k stood up hitting the desk.
“You just said grades don’t matter!”
“No matter what 400th place is too bad. Wouldn’t it be right to at least say ‘a student who studied’?”
“Keuheuk!”
D i c k who had nothing to say sat down and grumbled.
“……I end up raising my grades even though I’m really sad.”
Camivarez let out an embarrassed laugh and looked at everyone again.
“Then how about asking the class president for the curse department?”
Simon nodded.
“Good. I’ll ask Cindy for the command department.”
Jamie Victoria Claudia Menzies Cindy Vivace.
All three were top-level talents with a clear reputation as majors. Since we were friends it seemed like he would gladly accept the request.
“Let me see.”
D i c k folded his fingers.
“Now all that’s left is the Jukilso Four Blood Pledge… Ah Matuhak! Do you have any acquaintances at Matu Department?”
Meirin and Camivarez shook their heads and Simon who thought for a moment raised his hand.
“If no one is there leave it to me.”
“okay! Then it’s all decided!”
* * *
In this way a new corner was created at the entrance ceremony.
The four people also discussed stage setup and special effects and decided to create guidelines.
“The use of black magic indoors is prohibited but maybe we can get permission for this?”
“I’ll tell Professor Jane.”
Simon said as he wrote down in his notebook. But the budget is a bit tight.
“Guys! Guys! I found a way to save money!”
Meilin who was looking through the documents shouted.
With a quill pen she drew a circle around the name of the ‘host’ of the entrance ceremony.
“The host is this guy named Jason. No matter how famous he is isn’t it a bit expensive to spend a day at the entrance ceremony?”
Simon lowered his head.
Jason Biker. Daily wage: 50 gold.
It’s expensive.
“Would you like to change it?”
“huh. For just 10 gold you can bring someone much more famous.”
“With only 10 gold? Who?”
Meilin smiled meaningfully and wrote a new name on it.
“Seyir Griezmann”
“This idiot with fantasy skills worked at the theater with me during vacation. It’s very famous in Langerstine.”
“I think it’s good!”
Camivarez clapped his hands but D i c k looked a little depressed.
“But this person’s stock is at its peak right now so can you bring him back for just 10 gold?”
“Oh of course! If it was my order it would come right away. More than anything it seems like they feel indebted to us. Moreover if you attract this person you can replace various stage settings with his illusion abilities. Additional savings!”
Simon was impressed.
“This is a really good move.”
“Hmm! This is the Vice President’s skill!”
D i c k immediately finished calculating on a blank piece of paper.
“Then let’s prepare wine to give to VIPs with the remaining budget.”
Maylin narrowed her eyes.
“Why do old people drink again!”
“Uh oh this feels different.”
D i c k said seriously.
“VIPs who have aged and retired from the field are people who enjoy being treated well for a long time. I came here without thinking but the minions came right away and said ‘The students have prepared it.’ And pour the wine. Would you be moved by this or not?”
“…….”
Maylin rested her chin and D i c k continued.
“There is something called ‘Old Chair’ in Dresden’s noble etiquette and we are recreating this! With just a glass of wine you can hear that this student council has a concept. There are probably very few student councils that prepare something like this right?”
Simon nodded.
“Let’s give it a try because it’s worth it.”
I decided to leave the adult area to D i c k since he would know best because he had experience running a business himself.
* * *
The meeting between the four continued late into the night.
Perhaps it was because of the sense of responsibility of being in charge of the entrance ceremony but the four people’s momentum did not cool down at all.
I had a lot of ideas and I felt like I could have an all-night meeting.
“But were you able to bring Meyrin Sayyur?”
“One hundred percent possible! The season is over now so I won’t have anything to do so I’ll come right away!”
“Simon Simon! Looking at the inconveniences at last year’s entrance ceremony there were a lot of broken chairs!”
“huh. Let’s go to the auditorium tomorrow and check it out.”
“Oh look at this. There are too many speeches by elders. I’m having trouble breathing. Can’t I reduce it?”
“I’ll suggest it to Professor Jane.”
That’s the end of the meeting.
That’s when Simon stood up to make coffee.
“hmm?”
There was something like a white note sticking out of my pants pocket.
<See you tomorrow evening! – Nephthys>
Come to think of it a gift from Nephthys was waiting for me.
